Chapter 7
Leela
“Damn it! I don’t think the spaceship will fit.” I said as I tried to maneuver the Planet Express spaceship into one of the parking spaces. I switched the controls to “Hover”, got on the elevator with Fry and Bender, and set the controls to “Home”. The spaceship flew away, leaving us in the parking lot.
“Leela, will your one eye, well, make you a... freak?” I looked around the parking lot. Vampires. People who look like gum. Fairies. “I think we’re good. Bender?” Bender took off his human costume, revealing his robotic self.
“Hey, Hermes! I didn’t know you taught here!” shouted Fry as we sat down for math. Hermes glared at him. “At school, you will address me as Mr. Conrad. And that goes for all of you.”
Lunch was kinda greasy for my taste, but Fry and Bender loved it. I mean, I’m glad the Krusty Krab is there, but Krabby Patties taste fishy. Literality. The cashier is the school music director, and the fry cook is one of the first years.
After school, we went to our home/work place. We work for below minimum wage, food, and a place to stay. The Professor, who owns Planet Express delivery company, is Fry’s great grandfather. “Good news!” said the Professor, like he always says.
“We get a raise?” scoffed Bender.
“No, but you’ll be making a delivery to the Krusty Krab.”
“Hello!” shouted the fry cook as we knocked on the back door. The fry cook, whose name was Spongebob Squarepants, had yellow hair, buck teeth, and a tie. “Ooh! The new brand of tomatoes is here!”
