Chapter 5
Dr. Doofenshmirtz
I was working on a shrinkinator on my balcony that overlooked the entire Tri-State area (The place I wanted to take over) when I heard breathing behind me. “Put your hands up and turn around slowly.” said a voice. I turned around and saw the junior who knocked me over at school pointing a gun at me. When she saw me, she immediately put the gun down.
“Oh, it’s you,” she said. “Sorry about knocking you over.”
I asked her “So, are you a cop?”
“Nope. I work for the O.W.C.A. Don’t ask what it stands for. So are you Mr... Heinz Doofenshmirtz?”
“Yes...” I said reluctantly. When I looked at her, she was giggling. “Hey! My stupid name is not funny.”
“Oh, right,” she said with a sudden seriousness in her voice. “Now, surrender,
Doof, or I’ll make you surrender.” I pushed a button on a remote and a cage fell over her.
“Ha, now who has the upperhand, uh, what’s your name?”
“Perry the Platypus.”
“Oh-”
All of a sudden, it started to rain. “No! My shrinkinator is fried!” “
“Oh, crap, my car isn’t waterproofed! Now I don't have a ride home. Can you let me go now?” I released her from the cage.
“How are you gonna get home, Perry the Platypus?”
“I’ll walk home. It’s not too far.” The rain started coming down harder.
“But it’s raining. At least let me walk you home.”
“Why should you care, Doof? I mean, you are my nemesis.”
“Well, because you're kinda cute.” This got her immediately.
I was walking down the street, holding the umbrella over me and Perry. It was pretty silent the whole walk. As we turned a corner, she said “I can go alone from here. Thank you for walking me home.”
This year will be a good year.
