Izuku stared at his mother as she slashed the knife across his arms.
Why was she trying to cut him? Izuku had been good, right?
The blood trickled down his arms as the cuts were made across his wrists. Inko's maniacal smile didn't stop as she began to laugh. This failure had gotten her husband killed! If he hadn't of been quirkless then Hisashi would have stayed! He wouldn't have been caught in that villain attack when he left! If Izuku wasn't quirkless then she wouldn't have lost her friends! They would have stayed and marvelled over her masterpiece but no! That stupid Katsuki got all the attention! Mitsuki and Masaru's quirks weren't even all that powerful! One could generate heat from his hand's and the other sweated glycerin that made her look young! Yet somehow it combined into a powerful explosion quirk!
Inko had a telekinesis quirk that could only be used on small objects. There's no weight limit, it just has to be something small! Hisashi could breathe fire and change it's colour and everything! Their child should have had a powerful pyrokinesis quirk! Or just fire! Or telekinesis! But no! Their son was a fucking useless, quirkless brat! Why did this have to happen to her! Inko was nice! She was kind! She had never been cruel to anyone and yet this piece of shit came and ruined her life! Why her! Why not Mitsuki! Why not Tsubasa! Why did their children get strong quirks but her's didn't! Her son doesn't even get something weak! ANYTHING COULD HAVE MADE HISASHI STAY BUT THIS BRAT JUST HAD TO BE FUCKING QUIRKLESS! Was Izuku trying to ruin her life! No, he wasn't trying! He already did!
"Now listen here you brat! You are to go to your room and stay there, don't come out unless I tell you to and don't make a sound! Got it?" Inko hissed. Izuku nodded his head and quickly ran to his room. Inko didn't hear his cries, she was too busy cleaning the blood. She made sure to use hydrogen peroxide just in case.
Izuku sighed as he bandaged more cuts. It was a normal routine that continued ever since he was five. Izuku was ten now and not a single thing had changed.
Wake up and get ready (ignoring the weird screens that popped up sometimes), go to school and get beaten, come home before mum and cook her food, get beaten because 'the food wasn't good enough, get beaten after mum has dinner, clean the house when she fell asleep and go get food from the cat cafe half an hour away.
Izuku had just finished cleaning and was now bandaging himself before leaving for food. He went back to his resting bitch face and walked out of his room. He stopped at the door to pull on his large red shoes before quickly high tailing it out of there.
Izuku was eleven now. Returning from his usual trip when a knife struck his side.
"Where do you think you've been, Deku?" His mother hissed and twisted the knife. It thankfully hadn't hit anything vital but there was something else that made his world blur.
Inland Taipan venom
He doesn't know how he knew what it was. He doesn't know how his mother got her hands on enough venom to kill well over five hundred fully grown adults. He just knows that this time she's actually trying to kill him and he probably has only thirty minutes before he dies. Could be less but you never know. His mother simply turned and walked away but not before kicking him out of the house.
That's how Izuku got to where he is now, on a roof watching as the sun began to rise. He could feel the paralysis kicking in and his head hurt like hell but he was okay. Dying meant no more abuse. Dying meant he wouldn't gain any more scars to his already scar littered body. Dying meant peace.
"Kid, can you step away from the edge? Because you're clearly bleeding out and need help," Izuku barely registered what the man was saying but at the mention of help he froze, and it wasn't from paralysis. He felt something rising in his throat and knew it wasn't puke because he hadn't eaten anything, only gotten drinks for the past week. It didn't surprise him that when he went to speak a little blood trickled out.
"'s not worth it... S'ready been twen'y minu'es," And it had. The venom was coursing through his veins and his body was close to a full shutdown. When that happened he would certainly be dead, no miracle could help.
"Kid, what do you mean?" The voice sounded distant but closer than before and Izuku turned around before taking a step back. The man had a large scarf around his neck and baggy black clothes along with a utility belt.
Shota watched as the kid turned around and drew a harsh breath. Blood was trickling from his mouth and his eyes were distant and unfocused. There was something other than blood loss making his movement sluggish but also hard. Shota recognised signs of paralysis and what the kid had said before meant that this was venom. Likely from whatever had stabbed him as there were no other visible traces of wounds.
"Inlan' 'aipan... 'on't know 'ow she go' i' but she 'id," Shota's blood ran cold. If the boy was right (Kami, Shota hopes he's wrong) then the fact a blade covered in a venom so potent that a single drop could kill a hundred people with or without regenerative quirks, means that twenty minutes passing could spell doom for the kid if he didn't get help immediately.
The kid's eyes fluttered and Shota sent an immediate signal to 119 for an ambulance and someone with an anti-venom quirk or healing quirk along with anti-venom to come immediately. He noticed the boy stumble and Shota panicked. The child couldn't be any older than ten and was obviously severely malnourished too. Which meant the venom could kill him any moment now and it was a miracle he had survived this long. When the kid stumbled again, Shota took a step forward and the kid took a reflexive step backwards, his eyes trying to focus on Shota but ultimately failing.
"Kid, I need you to stay awake, okay? Focus on my voice, help is on the way. You're going to be okay, just breathe," Shota took another step forwards and the boy put his hands on the railing. His eyes began to droop and Shota's heart raced.
"Kid! KID! Don't close your eyes, you'll be fine! Just don't close your eyes! Listen to my voice and breathe, you'll be fine just stay awake,"
"'m s'rry, you shouldn't 'ave 'asted 'ime on me..." The boy's breaths are shallow and shaky, his eyes were fluttering and an ambulance was still five minutes. Shota still didn't know why the kid was on the roof that night but he knew that the child was dying and he still wouldn't let Shota near him. Blood trickled out of his mouth and the stab wound on his side. He backed up onto the railing when Shota took another step forward.
"Let me help you, kid. Please just keep your eyes open, please let me help," Shota pleaded but the boy shook his head and coughed up more blood before his knees gave out and he fell backwards over the rail. The red substance stained Shota's boots as he lunged forward to catch the boy but failed as the kid slipped just out of his own and his capture weapons reach. There was a sickening snap as the boy hit the ground and blood pooled around his body. His eye's rolled back into his head and blood trickled out of his mouth. His arms and legs were bent at awkward angles and you could clearly see the white of bone protruding from multiple areas. His neck was clearly snapped and the stench of iron hit his nose.
Shota felt bile rise up into his mouth at the scene.
Hizashi hugged his boyfriend who sat on their couch staring at his coffee.
"It's not your fault Sho, there's no way that you could have changed what would happen," Hizashi tried to reason but the sad look in his lover's eye's stayed.
"If I had gotten there sooner then I would have had time to get him down... He was up there for around twenty minutes before I found him... If I had hurried up with my patrol I could have gotten to him before the venom had a chance to kick in. If I was faster I could have caught him..." Shouta whispered and tears went down his face. Hizashi found his boyfriends head buried into his chest with his fingers gently combing through Shota's hair as he whispered reassurance to the ravenette.
Izuku was certain he died. He very much remembered the pain as his neck had snapped before that sweet moment of bliss when he felt nothing at all. So he was of course confused to wake up. Not just wake up but wake up on a beach with a blue holographic screen in front of him. The screen was sort of transparent and didn't really block his view but it was still confusing. He recognised the beach though, everyone kept illegally dumping things here and he was currently sat inside an old bus. First thing's first though, what the hell is this screen?

'What do you know, I really did have bad eyesight... Just another thing they bullied me for'
Izuku stared at the ocean view from his spot and found it wasn't blurry like before, nothing was really blurry. He didn't really notice before but now it was obvious. The next thing he noticed was that the sand was shifting as something- someone landed on top of the bus.
"Finally! A well-deserved break!" The person shouted and Izuku froze.
'This thing's rusty so moving is a no go...'
Just as Izuku thought that there was a 'clang' as something fell out of his pocket.
"Fucking coins! How could you do this to me!" Izuku hissed. A head of feathery ash blonde hair looked down from the entrance of the very much torn apart bus.
"Hello- Holy shi-shite kid! You look like you just killed someone!" Izuku recognised the guy as Hawk's, a hero who had just recently debuted and was already in the top twenty.
Winged Hero; Hawks
Lvl: 48

Izuku, being the weird kid he is, responded with...
"Wouldn't be the first time. I always look like shit," Which earned a pointed glare from Hawks.
"Language, you're what, six? Shouldn't you be at home kid? It's well past bedtime!" Hawks chuckled and Izuku rolled his eyes.
"In all honesty, it's not really a home but a shelter that is absolutely crap cuz it offers absolutely no protection from the bitch called 'Mum'. I'm eleven, by the way," Izuku leaned back in the crappy bus seat and Hawk's surprisingly enough took a seat across from Izuku. Izuku tensed slightly but it was enough for Hawk's to notice, along with the evident fear in his eyes that resembled a cornered animal.
"I'm not going to hurt you, greenie. Just want to know why you look a lot like the kid who was on TV yesterday," This caused Izuku to tense even more.
"Pretty sure I died but here I am and apparently with some fuckassery gaming quirk that has now turned everything into an RPG. I'm pretty sure it's broken because other than my stats being pretty accurate, it's just crazily OP for a level five," Izuku decides he does not give two shit's if he gets kidnapped by the number nineteen hero at the moment and brings out all the fuckassery and bullshitery.
"Do enlighten me, would you?" Hawks smirks and Izuku rolls his eyes.

"It takes twenty-three kicks and one punch to kill you. That's with them being on their weakest level. This would require two-hundred and thirty-five SP. I have three-hundred SP. That means I could kill you when I'm a level five despite you being a level forty-eight," Izuku explains.
"That's if I don't fight back," Hawks points out.
"You're forgetting that it turns my life into an RPG. There's magic as well and we're forgetting about the fact I could just tell you to either not fight back or just end yourself using 'Trick'. I could also just embarrass you so much you never show your face again," Izuku buts in and Hawks is silent.
"You don't have anywhere to go and I have already decided to adopt you as my brother because you're freaking cool and need love so good luck bitch! Also, I'm pretty sure you need either a new identity or to explain to the police that your alive thanks to a newly discovered quirk and you'll need backup for that!" Hawk's declares.
"If you don't treat me like everyone else did then sure, I might jump off a bridge though cause death felt nice," Izuku mutters the last part but Hawks hears it and lock eyes with him, though his gaze soften due to 'Doll Eyes'.
"If you die I'll kill you,"
"I've died once, I'll welcome it with open arms again. Name's Izuku, by the way,"
