Disclaimer: I myself am not trans and don't deal with dysphoria. So please educate me if I mess up! I don't wanna offend anyone. Another note: this concept was meant to be crack but it kinda starts out angsty in the beginning--trust me it gets lighter.REWRITE EDIT: Made some changes!! Touya and Fuyumi are now twins!! Shoto and Natsuo's ages are adjusted. Changed Hawks from Number 3 to Number 5 hero before the time skip. Touya now has red hair. TW in first chapter for UNSAFE binding with bandages

The LOV get to work

The League sits around a table, discussing their plans to find and save their beloved Yuki. Wherever she may be.

“The first plan of action; Toga and Twice are banned from being babysitters,” Shigaraki announces, gesturing to the two. “When Dabi is away Compress will be in charge. End of discussion”

Shigaraki then makes his way over to a board, plastered with pictures of Musutafu’s local park and a map of the city’s streets and alleys. “We can’t rely on the police or any heroes to find Yuki for us.” He points a finger to the map. “So we do this ourselves.”

“But where do we start looking? There’s no way we’ll be able to find her in time on our own.” Spinner speaks up, before taking a bite of his club sandwich.

In time?” Dabi repeats. “What the fuck is that supposed to mean?”

The lizard shrugs. “Ya know, most crime shows say that the first twenty-four hours are crucial. After that, you're just looking for a body.”

That pisses Dabi off, he leaps out of his seat and slams his hands down on the table, causing the table to break. “I’m gonna burn your fucking face off if you keep talking!”

“Please calm down!” Toga cries out, trying to pull the scarred man back in his chair. “Yuki~chan will be fine!”

The ravenette turns to the teen. “None of this would be happening if you and split man didn’t fuck up so bad.” He snaps.

That gets the blonde to frown and slink back in her seat.

“We’ll split into groups. That way we can cover more ground.” Shigaraki explained.

“I wish we still had Kurogiri around—no I don’t! Or someone who could just lead us to Yuki!” Twice huffed. He was right, having Kurogiri around would make things easier.

“Hey, Dabi, does your recruit have any quirk we could use to find her? Perhaps you should bring them in for the search.” Compress suggested.

Dabi shook his head without a second thought. “No way, mister. They’re useless. We’ll find Yuki on our own.” Truthfully Hawks’ wings could be helpful in the case, the only problem was that Dabi didn’t want him to know his daughter even existed. That would be disastrous.

Shigaraki scratched his neck. “I’ll take the lead with Compress. Dabi will go with Spinner. We’ll search opposite ends of the prefecture. Yuki will be found and brought back to safety. I promise, Dabi.”

“Why the fuck do I have to team up with the lizard?” The fire user scowled, ignoring his boss's kind words.

“That’s mutantist, man.” Spinner shot back, crossing his arms.

“You drive like a maniac! There’s no way I’m going anywhere with you.”

“What about us, Shiggy? What will we do?” Toga shot her hand up, pointing towards her and Twice who weren’t mentioned.

“We also wanna help find Yuki~chan!—she can die for all I care!”

“You guys aren’t allowed to participate.” Tomura squinted his eyes. “This is your time out for losing Yuki.”

What!” Toga whined. “But I said I was sorry!”

“Sorry won’t bring my daughter back.” Dabi snapped. “I don’t trust you two idiots to find her.”

“You’re so mean Dabs!—you’re a fucking angel.”

“Dabi’s right. Thanks to you we’re missing a valuable member,” Shigaraki pointed towards the door. “You’re in time out. Get on top of the fridge.”

Toga pouted. “This family is a fucking nightmare!”

“You care about young Yuki, don’t you Shigaraki?” Compress and Shigaraki were searching the outskirts of the prefecture for any sign of a winged child. The League split up an hour ago in hopes to reconvene before sunset.

Shigaraki avoided his gaze, scratching his neck anxiously. “Of course I do. Dabi would probably quit if his spawn isn’t found. And he’s a valuable asset. Nothing more.”

“Whatever you say.” Sako smiled underneath his mask. Everyone in the League knew well that their boss tried their best to hide his affection toward the four-year-old. But there was no denying that the villain was practically her uncle. And at the moment he cared for her a lot and wanted her back just as much like her father.

“Yes whatever I say, I’m your leader! Now stop talking to me and focus on finding that brat.”

Shigaraki was going to lose his mind if Yuki wasn’t found soon. He had a new video game he was looking forward to playing and it’d be very inconvenient if he had to spend every waking moment out to search for his niece. She better be safe or he might as well decay everything in Japan.

Shut up he didn’t care—he’s just being a good boss. Losing Yuki means losing morale. And he can’t take over hero society with low morale.

He only hopes Spinner and Dabi are doing better than they are. It’s as if Yuki disappeared in thin air.

Dabi and Spinner were not alright. For one, Spinner insisted on driving the two of them around town which went against the scarred man's wishes. Yet stealing a car to find Yuki was much more efficient than walking around the entirety of Japan.

Dabi only wished he brought a barf bag with him. “Can you slow down for once? We’re never gonna spot Yuki if you keep swerving.” He complained as he hung outside the passenger seat window, clinging on his seat for dear life.

“Relax, man. I play Grand Theft Auto five with Shigaraki all the time. I know what I’m doing.” Spinner replied as he struck his third lamp post.

The fire user tried his best to tune out the annoying lizard and his terrible driving skills out. He wanted to focus on finding his firecracker. But every time he peeked out his window he found nothing. Dabi really hoped that at any moment she’d round a corner and see their car. That she’d recognize them and run into his arms. He just wanted her back home. He just wanted her to be safe.

Toga and Twice weren’t specific about her whereabouts so the four-year-old could’ve possibly wandered anywhere. And Dabi knew there were a lot of shady figures lingering in Musutafu, especially in the red light district. He was going to kill those two when he finds Yuki.

“You told Yuki, right?” Spinner looked over to Dabi.

“Hm?”

“Ya know, told her we were villains and stuff. If she’s lost and found my heroes she could lead them right to the league.”

The lizard hit a road bump and Dabi wanted to gag. “The League will be fine. I taught her to keep her mouth shut around others. She knows not to slip up.”

That was another concern. Not just Yuki’s safety but the security of everyone else. The four-year-old was family with the most villainous group in Japan—one slip up could lead them all to jail.

“It’s almost sunset and we’ve had no luck. Maybe we should head back and try again tomorrow.” Spinner suggested as the orange glow from the sky glinted in Dabi’s eye. He was tired and it was almost night but he didn’t wanna give up. He didn’t wanna give up on Yuki.

“Hey, Dabi?” Spinner tried shaking the scarred man's shoulders as he parked the vehicle. “We’re done for today, let’s go home.”

Dabi only grunted in response, unmoving.

The scaled man turned away from the whole and smiled gently at his co-worker. “We’ll find her, alright? Yuki is safe and sound.”

Before it’s too late. The first twenty-four hours are crucial. Are we looking for a body? Where is my daughter?

“Are you sure this is a good idea, Toga?” Twice asked from where they were currently standing, outside the League’s base with backpacks in hand.

“Of course it is! We can’t just sit by and not look for Yuki. This is our responsibility, we should do this on our own.” The blonde replied, slipping a spare knife into one of her bags pockets.

“Shouldn’t we tell someone, though—we’re gonna be in so much trouble!”

“Don’t worry. Once we return with Yuki all will be forgiven. And we’ll only be gone for a little while.”

“This better be worth it.”
