1st Annual Mountie Appreciation Day
"You're shitting me right?" Ray shot Fraser a look of pure disbelief.
"I am not." Fraser held his hat in front of his chest carefully covering his crossed fingers.
"What isn't it on the calendar then?"
Fraser shrugged, a sea of red serge rolling like a wind moving a field of grass. "American calendar manufacturers can't be expected to know every Canadian holiday. In their defense it is a rather obscure one." Fraser smiled, his gaze starting glaze over as he slipped into story teller mode. "I was just a boy when I first heard mention..."
"Okay, okay." Ray conceded the point to stave off one of Fraser's long winded explanations. It was only a hour to lunch for heaven's sake. "I'll hug you. I'll even buy you lunch, but I'm not doing your paperwork for you."
Fraser nodded, accepting his win graciously. "That's very gentlemanly of you, Ray."
