Chapter 2
Viktor sighed and let go of the hug. He motioned for Five to follow him into the living room. They sat down and Viktor leaned forward on his elbows.
"Well Luther is working at a club downtown, Allison works at a hair salon, Klaus had a cult so there is no telling where he is currently, and Diego is in the psych ward after he tried to kill Lee Harvey Oswald," Viktor said. He heard little feet coming toward them and smiled. Gracie stuck her head around the couch and giggled. Five looked at her in bewilderment.
"Dada cracker please?" Gracie asked as Maria giggled in their room.
"Are you two hungry?" Viktor asked as he stood to make his way to the kitchen. Five blinked after him.
"Who are they?" He hissed out. Viktor could tell that the man was in shock.
"Those are your nieces. They just turned two," Viktor said as he started making the girls a snack. He was still coming to terms with the fact that their naps had become a thing of the past.
"You got pregnant after we time traveled? What with this guy?" Five asked gesturing over to Elliot wildly. Elliott snorted out a laugh as he made more coffee.
"No Elliott isn't their father. I was pregnant before I was even with Leonard. I didn't find out I was pregnant until I landed in the 60s however," Viktor explained as he moved to the livingroom with the girls food.
Gracie and Maria sat down and started to eat their peanut butter crackers. Viktor sat back down and motioned for Five to sit as well. He did so looking at the twins with an unreadable expression. The twins were looking at him with curious eyes. It was honestly amusing to watch their three way staring contest.
"So who is their father?" Five asked after a while of staring at the girls.
"Diego," Viktor said as he fixed Gracie's hair back into her bow. He waited for Five to say anything about it. He looked up to see Five muttering to himself.
"Okay. You go and get Diego. I'll get Luther then we will get Allison and find Klaus," Five said before standing.
"Only problem there is that Diego doesn't know," Viktor said leaning back on the couch.
"Well it's time he did. Now go introduce your daughters to their dad," Five said before blinking away. Viktor sighed this was not how he wanted to spend his day. He went and got the money he had stored away to bail out Diego.
"Come on little ladies we are going to meet your daddy," Viktor said.

"Hargreeves, you have visitors," the guard barked out.
"Who?" Diego asked as he stood.
"I'm not your secretary," was the only reply he got. He was pushed into a room where he seen Viktor and two little girls.
"Hey Diego," Viktor breathed out. He hadn't really seen him since before the world was ending. He looked like a hot mess but the long hair reminded Viktor of their band days.
"Vanya," Diego whispered and sat across from him. He looked at the two little girls and a wave of protective anger crossed through him. "Who knocked you up with twins then left you alone?"
"The things um you did. I never got the chance to tell and I honestly had no idea until after we got separated," Viktor explained quietly. "And it's Viktor now," he whispered softly.
Diego nodded. Gracie slapped the table to get attention from her parents. Diego looked at her with new eyes. These were his little girls and as much as he and Viktor fought he still loved the man dearly.
"Hey there cutie," Diego said softly. "What's your name?"
"Gracie! That Maria. She no talk much," Gracie said proudly. Diego smiled at the names and nodded slightly. "Mama said you sick. Is you better now?"
"I'm getting better," Diego said chuckling.
"Good cause we'll be back tonight to get you," Viktor said. He was using his powers so only the four of the could hear. "I was going to pay the bail that was originally set but they won't let a white person bail you out so we are having a good old fashion jail break."
"I like the way you think," Diego laughed softly. "But what about the girls?"
"We help!" Gracie exclaimed. She clapped her hands and leaned on Maria. Maria nodded softly and smiled at her dads.
"W-we he-help," Maria echoed though much quieter. Diego smiked softly at the girls stutter.
"You know daddy has a stutter too," he told the little girl. She smiled brightly at him and held out her little arms to him. He picked her up and hugged her tightly. Soon Gracie was also in his arms and he held his little girls.

Viktor keep his girls close as he could as the sneaked their way into the psych ward. They had made it to the back hall when they heard howling. Soon they seen Diego and a woman running down the hall with gun shoots following them.
"Viktor grab the girls let's go!" Diego yelled. Viktor scooped up the girls and ran with the two. The gun shoots continued behind them as the lights flashed wildly.
"We need to go left! The car is out front!" Viktor yelled at the two taking the lead. Maria hide her face in her father's shirt and whimpered while Gracie laughed at all the commotion around them.
They ran faster as the gun shots got louder until an explosion behind them made them stumble and fall. Diego was up before anyone else but he froze when he seen Maria holding a similar glow to Viktor's powers.
He was quickly shaken out of his stupor by gun fire. He pulled up both Lila and Viktor before grabbing Maria while Viktor grabbed Gracie. They kept running down until they got to the car. Viktor handed Gracie to Lila shouting for her to put her in the car seat.
They were soon speeding down the road heading towards Elliott's. The girls had fallen asleep in their car seats quickly after the car started moving. Lila looked over the babies to make sure they weren't damaged. Something wasn't adding up to her. Why would her mother send the Swedish bastards after them?
"Lila this is Viktor. Viktor this is Lila," Diego introduced softly. Lila looked up at the man who nodded to her through the review mirror. This was the bringer of the apocalypse. This father of two who seemed so frazzled by gunfire. Something wasn't adding up.
"Pleasure to meet you. Your girls seem lovely," Lila said smiling.
"Thank you. They're my pride and joy. It's nice to meet you as well. I wish it was under better circumstances," Viktor said as he speed down the road. They soon pulled up infront of Elliott's and unloaded.
Five was mumbling and pacing around the livingroom with Elliott watching him. He perked up when he spotted Viktor. Viktor motioned for Diego to follow him so they can lay the girls down.
"Where the hell have you two been?!" Five exploded a soon as they left the girls room. "And who is this?!"
"Hi I'm Lila," she said holding out her hand. Five ignored her facing his siblings with a small scowl.
"Where's Luther?" Viktor asked sitting on the couch. Diego sat in between Lila and Viktor. Five watched the two lean on him.
"He more or less told me to fuck off," Five grumbled and flopped down into a chair.
