ppansy no it’s not a big deal. I just have this thing called ADHD and no one really knows except my friends and it makes finishing my work and handing it in on time really hard for me.
cho_chang oh I have heard of that. I know studying with others really helps not getting distracted and motivated to finish, maybe we should make this a regular thing then.

Pansy returned to the common room after her study date to find Blaise already waiting for her. She was still giddy from her progress in schoolwork, so it took her a moment to realize her boyfriend seemed awfully quiet and lost in his own thoughts. Pansy didn’t waste any time asking Blaise what was wrong, and he knew better than to lie to her about being fine.
“What if I can’t do this? You and Draco have already made friends and are socializing fine around other students. I can’t even hold a simple conversation with someone that isn’t you or Draco or a few select Slytherins. I have like two friends if I don’t count you as one of them.”
Pansy loved when Blaise would find it in himself to confide in her. She loved granting him the comfort of understanding when he thought he didn’t deserve it. She pulled him into a loving and soft hug.
She knew he hated when she would go all soft with her advice for him, so she laughed lightly and told him he had clearly forgotten all about the plans with Luna that they were still on for and that a few Gryffindors seemed happy to talk to them no matter their past.
Pansy did not fail to take quite a few doubts off Blaise’s mind that evening.
