Chapter 4
Bluey rushes down the stairs as fast as she could to answer it, leaving her slightly out of breath when she opens the door
"Hey babe! Are you okay?" The border collie asked, looking at his girlfriend as she quickly tried to regain her posture and breath
"Yep! Just a little winded running down the stairs, hehe, " bluey answered, laughing a little bit at the end
"Ah, okay, that's fair," MacKenzie said, laughing. He then reached his arms out for a hug, which bluey immediately accepted and pulled him into a tight hug
"Is it bad to say I missed this when you went home yesterday?" MacKenzie said, looking down at the heeler, tilting his head to the side slightly
"Nope, not at all," bluey responded, planting a small kiss on his lips, which he gladly returned
"Soooooo, what brings you here, border boy?" Bluey asked because the last thing she expected was to see MacKenzie at her house
"Oh yeah! I wanted to take you on a date!" He said as he puffed out his chest to make himself look bigger and more confident. Sadly, he only got a kiss on the cheek and a small but cute chuckle from bluey
"A surprise date, huh?" Bluey said while wearing a sly smirk on her face
"What? I can't take my amazing girlfriend out on a date?" He said, now wearing the smirk as bluey turned red in the face
"Hmmmmmmm... yes, yes you can, " bluey said, wrapping him into another tight hug. He immediately wrapped his arms around her and held her close, praying that they could stay like this forever. Sadly, all good things have to come to an end. they pull apart smiling, while their tails are going crazy cause them both to turn red and laugh
"Sooooo..." MacKenzie said, trying to start the conversation again. "You ready to go?" He asked
"Right now?"
"Right now," he said, looking into her eyes and smiling
"Yes," she said, as she grabbed his paw and walked out the door after telling her mom she was going out with MacKenzie
"I love you, kenzie."
"I love you too blue"

The couple had just made it to their destination after a pretty far drive from her house. Bluey immediately recognized where they were when she looked out the window. They were at her favorite ice cream shop
"I thought we could have our first date here, you know, considering it's where we first meet," MacKenzie said, explaining to the heeler why they were there
"MacKenzie collie, you have no idea how great you just made my day," bluey said, scaring MacKenzie when she said his first and last name
"I'm glad I could make it better, babe," MacKenzie said, placing his paw on her. They share a quick kiss before getting out and heading inside, but before they enter, they could hear someone yelling their names
"BLUEY! MACKENZIE!" Their heads turn to whoever was yelling their names, only to be meet with the army boys
"Jack! Rusty!" Bluey said as she ran up to Jack to hug him, both of them laughing
"Hey mate, how's it going?" The collie asked the red kelpie as they shared a fist bump
"It's was going good until Jack just gasped randomly and started sprinting without any warning," Rusty said, laughing
"It was a pleasant surprise, to say the least," MacKenzie said, as both boys watched their partners talk with each other
"WAIT! You were about to have a date!"
"Yeah! I had no idea until MacKenzie just showed up at my door and told me he wanted to take me on a date!"
Jack's eyes lit up as an idea popped into his head. "What if we had a double date! You and MacKenzie, and me and rusty!" Jack said, practically jumping up and down out of pure excitement, which shortly afterwards, bluey join in
"Oh my God, yes! It will be so cute!" Bluey said, grabbing Jack's hands as they continued to jump up and down, confusing their partners
"Are you two good?" Rusty asked, concerned as the where all this energy came from
"Do you guys wanna do a double date!" Jack and bluey asked in perfect unison, scaring MacKenzie and rusty
'What in the shining...' they both thought to themselves
"Uhhhhhhh, sure, why not?" MacKenzie said, shrugging his shoulder
"Yay!!" Bluey and Jack yelled as they both grabbed their respected lover and made their way inside
"This is going to be so much fun!!" Bluey said, as they were picking out their ice cream flavors
"Now, what to choose..." The heeler said as she looked at all the flavors
"What if we got a banana split and shared it?" Rusty asked, deciding that choosing one flavor was practical impossible
"Ohhhh yeah, let's do that!" Bluey said as she beamed with excitement
"Okay, I'll order and pay. You guys go find a place to sit, okay?" MacKenzie said as he walked up to the counter, pulling out his wallet in the process
"Okay, will do!" Jack said as he pulled the two others with him to find a good spot
"Should we sit outside or inside? Ughhh, too many hard decisions, " bluey said, groaning as she struggled to find the solution to her dilemma
"Let's sit under that shady table there," Jack said, pointing to a table outside that was shaded by the tree that grew over the table
"Yeah! Let's get it before someone else does. " as soon as she finished talking, Rusty was already sitting at the table waiting for them
"Come on, you slow pokes!" Rusty said in a joking manner towards Jack and bluey
"Okay, okay! Calm down speed demon, " Jack said, laughing at that last bit. It took around another minute before MacKenzie came over to the table with a bowl containing the banana split they ordered, as well as four spoons poking out. Without a word uttered, they each grabbed a spoon and started to dig in
"Mmmmmmmmm! This is soooooo good!" Bluey said after her first spoon full, as she basically melted
"Rusty, you come up with the best ideas," MacKenzie said, also melting from the flavor and somewhat leaning on bluey
"Rust you out did yourself once again," Jack said, leaning onto his shoulder
"I'm glad you guys like my brilliant idea," he said, causing the whole table to start laughing. MacKenzie took his arm and draped it over bluey's shoulder, bringing her closer. Unknown to the table, a certain pink poodle had just watched MacKenzie wrap his arm around bluey, that she did not like. All she knows is that bluey deserves this for not making MacKenzie be her husband in circus. She decides to collect herself and make her way over to the two couples to get some answers for the several questions she had
"Hey guys!" Coco said as she approached the group, trying not to stare daggers at bluey
"Hey, Coco! What's up?" Rusty asked, giving her a confused look as to why she was here
"Oh, I just say you guys as I was walking by, and I thought I would stop by a say hi!" She said cheerfully. Jack, on the other hand, knew something was up with the way she was acting
"What do you want?" Jack said with a deadpan expression
"What do you mean 'what do I want?'" Coco asked, with an offended look in her eyes. The group knew that Jack and Coco hadn't been the best of friends, plus they all knew Jack could read her like an open book so nothing was safe. Good or bad
"It is about MacKenzie and bluey?" Jack said, wearing a smirk as gave her a 'I got you figured out' look
"What!? No! Why would it be about MacKenzie and bluey?" She said, actually offended this time
"Well considering how you have been giving bluey the stink eye every time she isn't looking at you, and you started to do it when you realized MacKenzie's arm was wrapped around her which I'm guessing was before you walked up to us" jack said staring at her, getting more and more mad at her the longer he talked. "Plus all the lovey dovey eyes you keep giving MacKenzie thinking non of us would notice, I can tell it's about bluey and MacKenzie" jack said, now in her face about ready to rip it off if she makes the wrong move
"Babe, back up plz" Rusty said, trying to pull his boyfriend away from the poodle he was currently having a death glair battle with. All while MacKenzie is bringing bluey closer to him that he has her in a hug basically on his lap, which doesn't go unnoticed by coco when she and Jack are finally separated
"I can't believe you would get with someone like her MacKenzie, and I thought you had better standards then that" coco said smirking as she stared at bluey, who looked like she was about to break down
"There is no way in hell you just said I can do better than her. She is the best thing to ever happen to me. Better than you, " MacKenzie said, getting up and basically spitting the last part at her, ready to punch her. He then felt a paw land on his fist. It was bluey's paw. He reluctantly relaxed his fist, only for it to ball back up as soon as he heard what Coco said next
"Dating a dirty whore I see" coco said, with the biggest smirk on her face as she watch bluey slowly sink into her self and start to cry. That was the last straw for MacKenzie and Jack as the both lunged at her trying to tackle her to the ground, only for her to get up in time and run
"THATS RIGHT! RUN YOUR FUCKING COWARD PEICE OF SHIT!" MacKenzie yelled, as he watched her turn the corner and finally leave his line of vision. He immediately turned back around to see rusty and Jack now holding a cry heeler. MacKenzie felt like his heart just broke into a million pieces as he watched her cry. Swiftly he jumped back over the fence to comfort her, only for her to get up and run away still cry
"Bluey wait!!!!" MacKenzie yelled as he watched her run down the street and out of his sight
