14 Day OTP Challenge

Summary
I challenged myself to write about 14 of my different OTPs to get myself writing again.    Want to do the challenge yourself? Just think of 14 couples you ship (may repeat a few if you can't think of enough) and write a drabble, about 1,000-4,000 words each. Then every day for two weeks post your ficlet about your ship!
Note
Of course the first couple I had to write about was my ultimate OTP! Seblaine! This one is just a little drabble about if Blaine would have transferred back to Dalton Academy during his senior year (WHICH HE SHOULD HAVE). I hope you enjoy!

Pre Wedding Jitters - Kwinn

Kara groaned as she kicked her heels off and fell back onto her bed with a sigh.

“I can fly, have x-ray vision, and do so many other cool things, but my feet cannot walk normally in high heeled shoes. Why is that?” Kara asked.

Alex chuckled and sat down next to her sister on the bed.

“Welcome to being a mortal woman,” Alex said as she took out her earrings. “Are your wedding shoes any more comfortable than those?”

“Yes, thankfully. I wouldn’t be able to walk down the aisle if they weren’t,” Kara said. “Who invented this whole idea of rehearsal dinners, anyway? Why is it that the people who just spent tons of money on their wedding now have to pay for dinner for so many people? Sounds ridiculous to me.”

“I have no idea, but I completely agree with you,” Alex said.

“Now I just want to curl up and sleep. No interruptions until morning,” Kara said through a yawn.

“You’re going to sleep in that dress?” Alex asked, getting up off of the bed.

“Yes,” Kara said with a sigh as she snuggled up against her pillow.

Alex took Kara’s glasses off for her and placed them on the table next to her bed.

            “Suit yourself,” Alex said.

“Kara!” James burst through the front door to the apartment.

Kara shot up in bed, looking at James curiously.

“James? What’s wrong?” Kara asked. She reached over and slid her glasses back onto her face, having the feeling she was going to have to get out of bed.

            “It’s Winn,” James said.

Kara got up out of bed at the sound of her fiancé’s name. She walked over to James, still eyeing him curiously.

“What about Winn? If you tell me he’s run off the night before our wedding I will drop him in the Atlantic Ocean,” Kara said.

“No, no, he hasn’t run off. He’s been…taken,” James said.

“What?” Alex asked, coming up behind Kara.

“Siobhan took him,” James said. “He and I were leaving the restaurant and she was hiding in his car.”

“Why would she do this?” Kara asked.

            “I don’t know,” James said.

“I’ll contact the DEO,” Alex said, walking over to her purse to get her phone.

Kara walked into the other room and came back, full in Supergirl uniform, before Alex could even dial the number.

“Do you know where they are?” Kara asked.

            “No idea,” James said.

“I’ll find them,” Kara said. She walked over to her apartment window, opened it, and flew out into the dark night.

Kara flew over the city, x-raying different buildings that Siobhan might be hiding him in. Why tonight, of all nights, would she have taken Winn? Perfect timing for a crazy ex-girlfriend to show up.

“Kara!” Alex’s voice came through her earpiece.

“Alex? What is it?” Kara asked.

“There’s some odd vibration waves coming from the abandoned paint factory next to the prison. It’s possible the banshee has him there,” Alex said.

            “I’m on it,” Kara said.

She turned for the direction of the factory and flew as fast as she could. The closer she got, she could begin to hear Siobhan’s screams coming from the factory. Kara smiled to herself. It was as if Siobhan wanted her to know exactly where she was. But, maybe she did. Maybe this was all some trap. How did Siobhan know that Supergirl would come to rescue Winn though? Did she just take a stab in the dark and figure that Supergirl would come to save anyone in trouble? She knew Winn had connections at the DEO though, so perhaps that was the method to her madness. Or maybe, Kara worried, she knew the nature of the relationship between her and Winn.

Kara landed in front of the factory but couldn’t walk inside due to the piercing screams. Kara used her x-ray vision to look through the walls. Siobhan was standing up on a platform, letting her piercing shriek pour over the entire area around her. Winn was only feet away from her, bound to a chair. He looked unharmed, which eased Kara’s mind a little bit.

Kara took a deep breath and blew the wooden door to the factory off of its hinges, making it crash to the ground. This way both Siobhan and Winn would know she was there without her actually going inside.

The screaming stopped once the door was gone. Then Kara saw her, the Silver Banshee. The black and silver makeup covering up her once familiar, and normal looking, face.

“Siobhan!” Kara called. “Let him go.”

“And why should I?” Siobhan asked. “What is he to you?”

“He’s an innocent citizen that you kidnapped for no apparent reason. Let him go. Now,” Kara said.

Siobhan let out a piercing scream and Kara fell to her knees, covering her ears.

“Kara!” Kara could hear through the shrill pitch coursing through her. It was Winn. She would hear his voice over the loudest sonic boom in the world. But he had used her real name. That must mean that Siobhan already did know who she really was. Siobhan had hated Kara, hated Supergirl, so put the two together, Kara couldn’t even imagine the hate Siobhan had for her now.

The screaming stopped. Siobhan looked at Kara with a satisfied smirk on her lips.

“Kara. I knew it,” she said. “I just needed proof.”

“What are you going to do, Siobhan? Tell people who I am? What do you think that will really do?” Kara asked. Kara knew the damage it would do to her life. She was just hoping that Siobhan didn’t.

“When I expose who you are do you really think that you’ll be able to have any sort of a normal life? Do you think you’ll be able to have any sort of normal relationship? Everyone will know you whenever they see you. You won’t have a moment of peace on this planet. You’ll be constantly hounded by the press, by fans, by villains. Eventually it will get to you. And then bye-bye Supergirl,” Siobhan said.

“I’ve never had a normal life,” Kara said. “Nothing about my life has ever been normal. And maybe my relationship isn’t normal. But if what I have with Winn isn’t normal, then I never want normal. He accepts every part of me. He did before he even knew all the parts of me. And just because he didn’t want to do normal with you, doesn’t make it my fault. It makes you the problem.”

“This isn’t what this is about,” Siobhan said.

“I know,” Kara said. “But it still hurts you. Even if you didn’t care that much for Winn, he still chose someone else over you. But, you’re right, that’s not what this is about. This about you wanting to get rid of me. But you know what? Even if you do get rid of me there’s going to be someone else out there who is going to stop you. And it might not be my cousin, or The Flash, but there will always be someone. Someone who is going to stand up for good and try to take down evil. And eventually, you will lose. Because good always defeats evil in the end.”

“Your optimism is sickening,” Siobhan said.

“Maybe. But so is your voice,” Kara said.

Kara leapt from the ground and took Siobhan by the throat, not enough to stop her from breathing, but enough so she wouldn’t be able to speak, or scream. Kara slammed her to the ground, holding her down.

Kara could hear a DEO helicopter coming from behind her so she waited patiently, while staring down Siobhan, for them to land.

“Bring the container over here,” Alex said. Kara didn’t dare take her eyes off Siobhan until the container was set right in front of them. Alex opened the glass case that was specially made for metahumans, and wouldn’t allow Siobhan’s voice to break or penetrate the case.

Once Siobhan was locked inside, and the carrier placed inside the helicopter, Kara ran inside of the factory.

“You couldn’t have come in here a little sooner?” Winn joked when he saw her.

He was tied to a chair, bound by his feet as well. The cable Siobhan had used to tie him was digging into his wrists, making them bleed.

“Sorry, was busy dealing with a banshee,” Kara said as she snapped through the cable.

“Thank you for coming,” Winn said once he was freed. He rubbed his sore wrists before pulling Kara into a hug.

“Did you think I wouldn’t?” Kara asked.

“Never,” Winn replied and smiled before placing a soft kiss on her lips.

Kara grinned and kissed him back happily.

“We’re ready to go,” Alex called from outside the factory.

“Go ahead. I’ll take the hostage home myself,” Kara called back.

            “Got it,” Alex called back.

Winn smiled and raised an eyebrow at Kara.

            “The hostage?”

“Hey, not all of the DEO know who I am and that I’m marrying you tomorrow. Speaking of which, don’t think that this is an excuse to be late to the wedding tomorrow,” Kara said.

“I wouldn’t dream of it,” Winn said.

“Good, now I’ve got to take you home,” Kara said, scooping him up in her arms.

“Okay, fine. Why do I get the feeling that you’ll be the one carrying me over the threshold tomorrow night, though?” Winn asked.

Kara laughed and shook her head before flying off with her husband-to-be in her arms.
