Chapter 1
It’s a really big day at the loud household, today is the Loud Family reunion. Everyone is excited, the family hadn’t been together for a couple of years, ever since Lori graduated college, and married Bobby, Leni went to college to become a fashion designer, and started her own clothing company. Luna started her own band, and made a deal with a producer, and now goes on a world tour. Luan moved to California to become a comedian, and writer. Lynn Jr became a professional athlete, and played in many sport teams, but soon she decided to retire, and become an athlete trainer. Lincoln moved to college to become a comic book illustrator, and sold many comic books that were inspired by his family. Lucy works part time at the local library. Lana works at a mechanical shop, and Lola works at a beauty store, and is still competing at beauty competitions. Lisa still does her experiments, and lives in a loud household. Lily lives at the loud house, and started painting as a hobby. The parents are doing great as well, Lynn Sr still owns his restaurant, and became the owner of a hotspot in the town, and Rita writes bestsellers, and became a famous author. The loud family has not been together for a very long time, but today is special, because Bobby, and Lori are bringing their first born to the loud house, and everyone is really excited.
The loud house was bustling with activity, the remaining loud residents were all getting ready for the reunion, Lynn Sr was in the kitchen cooking a meal for the loud family, Rita was decorating the living room, with the help of Lola. Upstairs, Lucy was writing a poem for Lori child, Lana was fixing the sink. Lisa was experimenting with her chemicals to create a serum cure, while Lily was thinking of what to do. What should I do?Lily thought she wanted to do something for the family reunion, but she didn’t know what to do. She begins to think of ideas of what she can do for her family. Hmm, I can’t think of any ideas to make this reunion special, what should I do? She asked herself. Why don’t you paint a picture of the family? Lucy asked behind her, causing Lily to jump away in fear. Uugh, Lucy, you scared me, Lily said while holding her chest. Sorry, Lisa said. But I think you should paint a picture of the family, you’re really good at painting, I think that would be something the family would like, Lucy said. Hmmm, Lily thought. You’re right that would be something good the family would enjoy, Lily agreed. Better yet, I can paint the picture, dad took, when Lori left for college, Lily said. That’s not a bad idea, Lucy said. They both remembered that day like it was yesterday, their dad was crying, while their mom was holding her tears back, their siblings however were a wreck. Leni was crying, saying that she can’t lose her sister. Luna was sad about it, but didn’t cry along with Luan. Lucy had black mascara dripping down her face, due to her crying, Lynn Jr was holding back her tears, but wanted to sob uncontrollably, and also hold her sister down so she wouldn’t leave. Lincoln was holding the twins, who were sobbing uncontrollably. Lisa was sobbing, and Lily was crying along with her sister. That day was sorrowful, but they were proud of their sister, and daughter for pursuing her dreams, and even more proud of her, because she is now a mom with the person she loves the most.
Lily then thought where that picture was the parents had taken. Hey Lucy, do you know where mom, and dad put that picture? She asked her goth sister, Yeah, I think they put it in the attic, Lucy said. Lily groaned, annoyed, she hated that attic, but she did want to paint the picture for the family reunion. She had no choice but to walk to the attic door, and pull the wire down, and then climb the ladder up. She looked around, when she reached the top, and saw boxes stacked up against each other, with both dust, and spider-webs, on, and around the boxes. Uugh, this place is creepy, she said. That’s why I love it here, Lucy said, once again behind her, and causing Lily to scream in fright again. Lily looked at her sister, annoyed, and Lucy apologized. Sorry, I didn’t mean to frighten you again. Lily didn’t mind much of it, since that’s how Lucy is, and just went to look for the box that had the picture in it. They both looked for it. Lily looked at the area where the light is, while Lucy looked in the darkness, since that is where she prefers to be. Lily looked at a couple of boxes, until she saw a picture of her family. She picked it up; aww it’s the picture Lincoln gave mom, and dad on their anniversary. She looked at the picture, and remembered that day. Even though she was a baby, she still remembered when everyone was going crazy, and loud as usual. She still remembers Lincoln screaming when the picture was taken. She laughed at that memory, she missed the old days, when her family was still together. Hey Lily, I found it! Lucy called out, Lily turned to the direction of Lucy, and found her opening a box, labeled “old memories”. Lily walked up to her gothic sister, thank’s Lucy, she said. Her sister smiled in response, which she rarely does.
Lily opened the box, and found many old pictures in it. She rummaged through it, and found some old pictures of her siblings, baby pictures, herself, and some old relatives she never met. Hey that’s a picture of great grandma Harriet, I wonder where she went, Lucy said. We can worry about our ancestors later, Lucy, Lily said. I have to find this picture before the reunion party starts, she said. She kept rummaging through the box, with no luck until she found the picture. YES, she shouted in victory. We found the picture, now I can get started painting the picture, she said. But before she could go anywhere, Lucy spotted something in the box. Wait, Lily, look at this. Lucy put her hand inside the box, and found an old picture of Leni in a hospital bed, holding a baby. Huh, that’s weird, why is Leni holding a baby in this picture? Lily thought, and why does that baby look like me? She wondered. Lily took the photo from Lucy's hand, and flipped it backwards, and saw, “ Happy Birthday Lily”written on the back. Lily dropped the picture on the ground, and came the horrifying realization, “No i-it can’t be true”, she thought. “She can’t be my mother, then that will make my parents, my grandparents” she thought, she felt her world shaking. Lucy looked at her sister worried, Lily are you ok? she said concerning. Lily looked at her sister with a wide eye, and yelled. NO,I JUST REALIZED THAT MY SISTER IS MY MOM, she screamed.
