Chapter 32
Sebastian lays in bed resting and reading some book off his shelf. Chris is attending to the girls, allowing him to get as much rest and alone time as he possibly can right now, as he needs it. Especially when his alone time will be gone soon, so he's making the most of it now while he still can.
Thankfully Chris seems to be doing okay with the girls for now. Sebastian has yet to hear any complaining coming from downstairs, and he's hoping that it'll stay that way for the time being.
Lately, Sabrina has been waking up crying in the middle of the night, causing both Sebastian and Chris to go and stay with her until she falls back asleep. And some nights she doesn't go back to sleep until the early hours of the morning.
Unfortunately Sebastian isn't able to get Chris to go attend her by himself, as Sabrina wants both of them every time, especially Sebastian. Which doesn't work out too well for him, since he needs to get as much rest as he can while he's still carrying the twins.
Thankfully Taissa and Emma have been fine with everything that's happening. In fact Emma has been trying to do everything she can to help out as much as possible.
"Sebastian?" Chris asks, knocking on the side of the doorframe to get Sebastian's attention. "I brought you some food."
Sebastian sets his book down next to him as he sits up in bed. "Good, cause I'm hungry."
Chris nods as he sets the plate of food down on the bed in front of Sebastian. "I made some tuna pasta salad. There's more downstairs if you're still hungry after."
"It's perfect." Sebastian says, around a mouthful of food. "And I'll be downstairs in a bit."
"You don't have to, Seb." Chris says. "You need all the rest you can get right now. The girls and I are fine downstairs."
Sebastian looks at him. "I know, but I don't want to stay in here all day."
"Well alright." Chris nods, leaning down to kiss Sebastian on the cheek. "I best go back down there and keep an eye on the girls." He says. "Sabrina has found a new game of throwing her food onto the floor."
Upon hearing that, Sebastian sighs. More trouble from Sabrina, and this time it's from her throwing her food to the floor.... He can only imagine how she'll behave once the twins are born.
She's still not okay with the idea of two more babies in the house, and while both Sebastian and Chris hope that once the twins are born that she'll get over it, they have their doubts. They're just glad that it's only Sabrina who's not happy about the twins.
"Are Tai and Em behaving?" He asks.
Chris nods. "Yeah they are. More or less." He says. "Tai doesn't want to do her homework though, not even when I offer to help her with it."
"I'll try helping her with it later." Sebastian says, before he's waving Chris off. "Now go. I'm gonna try have a quick nap once I've finished this, then I'll be downstairs."
Chris nods, about to leave, but Sebastian stops him.
"Wait." Sebastian says. "I think while Tai is at school tomorrow and Em is at preschool we should go out shopping for baby clothes for the twins."
They don't have any baby clothes for boys, so they really need to think about going out shopping for clothes for them, along with some other stuff to add to their nursery.
They've already got quite a bit of stuff for the twins nursery, and everything's mostly all set up thanks to Chris and Anthony last week, but buying a few more things won't hurt. But they especially need to buy more baby clothes.
"That sounds like a good idea." Chris nods. "Though we've still got Sabrina, and I'm not too sure if it would be a good idea to take her shopping with us."
"I can call Laura later and ask if she's available to babysit her for us." Sebastian says. "If she's not available we can always ask Sam or your parents. Otherwise we can just take her with us and hope for the best."
"Alright." Chris nods. "Well you just eat up and get some rest then."
Sebastian just nods, as he watches Chris leave the room, shutting the door behind him and heaving him on his own to eat and rest before the eventually heads downstairs.
"Where's mommy?" Emma asks, as soon as Chris walks into the kitchen.
"He'll be downstairs in a bit." Chris assures her, ruffling up her hair. "Let's just let him rest for a bit longer."
Emma sighs. "Okay." She nods.
"Though, I forgot to take him up a bottle of water." Chris says. "Once you're finished your lunch do you want to take one up to him?"
"Yes!" Emma nods, before she's getting back to her food.
Chris smiles, glad that Emma is always willing to help out.
"Want mommy now!" Sabrina says, just as Chris sits down at the table with his own plate of food.
"He'll be down after he's had some rest, Bina." Chris assures her, sighing a little as she throws her cup to the floor in protest.
He's just glad the cup is empty this time....
******
A couple hours have passed by the time Sebastian comes downstairs, finding Chris and the girls in the living room watching a movie together.
Even Dodger and surprisingly all three cats are curled up in the living room. Though both Muffy and Sooty are curled up together away from everyone else.
"What movie we watching?" Sebastian asks, taking a seat on the couch next to Chris.
"The girls wanted to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Chris says, wrapping an arm around Sebastian, holding him close.
"Cool." Sebastian sighs, resting his head on Chris's shoulder. "You know, Johnny Depp's Wonka always creeps me out a bit."
Chris chuckles a little at that. "I thought you loved everything Johnny does?"
"Of course I do." Sebastian nods. "It's just his Wonka that's a little bit creepy."
"Fair enough." Chris shrugs. Sebastian's not entirely wrong about that. "Doesn't help that it looks and sounds nothing like him."
"Just proves how much of an amazing actor the man is." Sebastian sighs.
Chris laughs a little. It's true, Johnny Depp is fantastic, and he knows how much Sebastian admires the guy. He's almost sure that Sebastian wouldn't say no if he was asked out on a date by him.
And if he's being honest, Chris would probably allow it. Just as long as it doesn't lead to anything. Though if it lead to anything sexual, Chris would be lying if he said he wouldn't be interested in joining them.
Cause it's well... it's Johnny fucking Depp. Who the hell wouldn't be interested?
"This isn't going to lead into you gushing about Johnny Depp is it?" He asks.
Sebastian laughs, shaking his head. "Don't worry, it won't." He looks up at him. "Unless you want it to?"
"Mommy, daddy, quiet!" Emma says. "I can't hear the movie!"
Both Chris and Sebastian smile at that, and Sebastian cuddles up closer to Chris, resting a hand on his stomach as he feels the twins kicking every so often.
He cannot wait until the twins are born so he can finally hold them both.

"Anything you have in mind to get?" Chris asks, as they look through the racks of baby clothes. "I had this idea that we could get double everything, since it's twins."
Sebastian looks over at him, stopping momentarily from looking through the racks of clothes. "You want the twins to wear matching outfits?"
He can't say he's surprised about that. And as a matter of fact, that sounds like a cute thing to do.
"Yeah." Chris nods. "Why not?" He looks over at Sebastian. "You don't like that idea?"
"No." Sebastian shakes his head. "I think it's cute actually." He says. "We could to that."
Chris smiles. "Great."
Sebastian smiles too, as he goes back to searching through the clothes, picking out two of every outfit he finds cute. Which admittedly is a lot.
He may have a slight problem with buying too much baby clothes, and it definitely doesn't help that they've got zero baby clothes for boys back at home. Aside from the unisex ones anyway, so they really needed to go out shopping.
Thankfully they've chosen to go shopping while Taissa and Emma are at school, and they've got Laura babysitting Sabrina for them. They know for sure that they wouldn't be able to shop in peace if they had the girls with them.
Though they would have taken Sabrina with them, but considering she's yet to be on board with the new babies, they're not so sure taking her with them to buy new clothes for the babies would be a good thing. So they had called Laura and asked her if she could watch her for them, and luckily she wasn't busy and could watch her for them.
"We don't need to get everything today, right?" Chris asks, looking down at the list of items they plan to buy for the twins. "I mean, we've still got time until they're here, and we can always buy some stuff online."
Sebastian shrugs, digging through the shelves of plush toys. "Well, obviously we don't need to get everything today." He says, pulling out a plush sheep, dropping it into the shopping cart with everything else. "But I'd like to get as much as we can today."
Chris nods, looking in the cart. "That include plush sheep?"
"Hey, we gotta fill the twins nursery with some plush toys, Chris." He says. "And yes. The plush sheep is a must."
"I get that." Chris says. "But why sheep?"
"No reason other than sheep are cute." Sebastian shrugs, reaching up towards the top shelf to grab down a plush dolphin, sighing a little as he can't quite reach it. "Grab that dolphin down will you?"
Chris looks up towards the plush dolphin, before looking back at Sebastian. "We're the same height, but you can't reach it?" He questions, grabbing the plush down off the shelf.
"Yes, but I'm carrying twins, and my back is killing me." Sebastian says, as Chris hands him the dolphin.
"Okay, fair enough." Chris nods. "I'm assuming you wouldn't say no to getting food afterwards?"
He pretty much knows what Sebastian's answer will be, as the guy is always hungry these days due to the pregnancy, but just in case.
Sebastian looks a him. "Obviously." He says. "I'm starving."
Chris nods. "Good." He says. "Now let's finish up here, then we can go get food."
"Great." Sebastian nods, digging through the shelves of plush toys. "I feel like Thai. Let's get some Thai food."
Chris smiles at him, watching as he pulls out a plush penguin and a plush llama from the shelf.
"Whatever you want, Sebastian." He says. "Whatever you feel like, we'll get."
