Chapter 31
"Chris!" Sebastian calls, sighing in frustration as he gets no answer.
They've got to Skype his mother and tell her the news about the pregnancy. Somehow they had managed to forget to tell her anything about it, so now they're having to call her on Skype to tell her the news.
Well... they should be anyway. Sebastian is currently waiting in their bedroom for Chris to get his ass in there so thy can call his mother together.
Sebastian isn't even sure what the fuck it is that Chris is doing right now. He said he'd be up here soon. But that was nearly half an hour ago now, and Sebastian is beginning to grow a little impatient as he waits for him to get up here.
He really doesn't want to have to get out of bed and go find him right now, but it may have to come to that very soon if Chris doesn't hurry up.
"Chris!" He calls again. Once again, no reply. "The fuck are you doing, Chris?" He sighs, muttering to himself.
He's going to have to go downstairs and find out where and what the hell Chris is doing. Which means he's going to have to get out of bed. Something that he really doesn't fancy having to do.
Though, right as he gets up out of bed, he hears Chris walking up the stairs. Which means that he didn't have to get up to go find him after all.
"What took you so long?" Sebastian asks, as soon as Chris walks in carrying two mugs.
"The girls wanted to watch one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, but I had trouble finding the discs." Chris says. "And I uh... I made you a hot chocolate."
Sebastian looks down at the mug of hot chocolate Chris is holding out for him.
"You're forgiven." He says, taking the mug from Chris, before he's sitting back down on their bed. "Now, we gotta Skype my mother and tell her the news."
Chris nods, he too moving to sit on their bed next to Sebastian. "Right." He says. "After your mother, who else do we still need to tell about the twins?"
They've already told Chris's parents along with his brother Scott and his sisters. It's just Sebastian's mother they still need to tell.
And the girls.
And Anthony and Scarlett.
"Well, we still need to tell the girls that they'll be getting two little brothers." Sebastian says, sipping at his drink as he brings Skype up on his laptop. "And we've still gotta tell Anthony and Scarlett."
He let's out a small sigh in relief to find that his mother is online right now. He messaged her on Facebook beforehand to tell her that he and Chris need to tell her about something important.
He just wishes that they could talk to her about it face to face. Well, face to face as in physically being in the same room as one another. Using Skype to tell her about it just doesn't give the same effect as announcing it in person.
Unfortunately Skype is one of the only ways they can talk with Sebastian's mother. One of the cheaper ways anyway.
Chris nods. "Well, we could get them to come over tomorrow if they're not busy and tell them then."
Sebastian just nods, as he sets up the call with his mother.
He begins to grow a little nervous as he waits for his mother to answer he call, and he's not sure why. Maybe because he's six months pregnant and he's not told his mother at all about it, and the fact that he'll be announcing that it's twins to her. That'll surely come as a bit of a shock to her.
Regardless though, Sebastian knows that his mother is going to be thrilled with the news. Both with getting more grandkids, and that this time she's finally getting two grandsons. He's sure that's going to be a pleasant surprise for her.
It takes a few minutes, probably due to connection issues, but eventually Georgeta's face pops up on the screen of the laptop, and Sebastian finds himself overjoyed to see his mother's face. Though he would've much preferred it if they could see each other in person.
Unfortunately, that's just not possible right now. Though Sebastian would like to take the girls over to Romania one day to visit their grandmother. It'll just have to wait until they're older, along with the twins.
"Hey, ma." Sebastian says.
"Oh, Sebastian! Chris!" Georgeta says. "How are you?"
Sebastian smiles. "We're good, ma." He says, before looking over at Chris. "And we've got something to tell you."
This is it. Time to tell his mother about the pregnancy. Something that they really should've done a few months ago.
Taking a deep breath, Sebastian takes a hold of Chris's hand for support - even though he doesn't really need it. He just likes holding Chris's hand.
"I'm pregnant, ma." He says. "I'm six months pregnant with twin boys."
He still can't believe that they're finally having boys.
"Oh, Sebastian! That's wonderful!" Georgeta says. "I'm going to have two grandsons!"
Sebastian smiles at his mother's joy upon hearing the news of the twins. He thought she'd be happy to hear the news, and he was right.
The only thing that would make this all better, is if his mother was here right now. Talking with his mother through Skype just isn't the same as her being here in person, and he misses her. He misses his mother.
Chris seems to notice the slight shift in Sebastian's emotions, and wraps an arm around him. He knows that it's hard for Sebastian to not have his mother living closer to them.
It makes Chris rather glad that his own mother lives close to them. He's not so sure how well he'd be able to cope if his mother lived nowhere near them, so he's glad that he's able to see his mother and father often.
But Sebastian isn't able to get that, and Chris knows how that makes him feel.
Luckily for Sebastian though, Chris may just have something special planned....

"Girls, your mother and I need to talk to you about the babies." Chris says, as he and Sebastian walk into the living room.
They have just got done telling the news about the twins to Sebastian's mother, and now is the time to tell the girls. They're not entirely sure how the girls will react to the news that they're going to be getting two brothers in a few months time, but they're hoping that they won't react too terribly.
However, they have a feeling that Emma will be excited about it. Taissa and Sabrina on the other hand, they're not so sure.
"No babies!" Sabrina yells. "Babies bad!"
Chris is quick to make his way over to her, and try his best to comfort her. "Bina, these babies are a good thing for us all." He says.
Sebastian sighs, sitting down on the couch as he watches Chris with Sabrina. It hurts him to know that she's not happy about the pregnancy. All he wants is for all his kids to be happy, but how can he have that when one of them doesn't like the fact that there's going to be two new babies in the house in a few months?
"Mommy!" Emma says, trying to get Sebastian's attention. "Are the babies okay?"
Sebastian looks over at her. "Course they are, sweetheart." He smiles. "And we've found out what they are."
Emma nods. "Two boys right, mommy?"
Sebastian smiles at that, looking over towards Chris. Yes. Both of the twins are boys. They're finally getting boys.
"Yes, both of the twins are boys." He says.
"I told you mommy!" Emma says.
Both Sebastian and Chris are still a little surprised that Emma already seemed to know what the twins will be - and that they're having twins to begin with - before they even found out themselves. They're not sure how she would've known, but they've elected to assume that she just really wanted two lite brothers.
"Wait." Taissa says, sitting up from were she was laying on the floor next to the dog. "We're finally getting brothers?"
"Yep." Chris says. "Now your mother and I won't be the only guys in a house full of girls."
Sebastian laughs a little at that. Trust Chris to say something like that. But he must admit, he'll be glad to have boys in the house too, instead of them being outnumbered by girls.
Though, he's got no clue on if boys will be easier to raise than girls or not. Either way he's sure that he and Chris will be able to handle it, and hopefully Sabrina will eventually get used to there being new babies in the house.
"Finally!" Taissa says, getting up and running over to Sebastian and hugging him. "I always wanted a younger brother!"
That makes Sebastian smile. "And now you're getting two of them." He says, hugging his first born back.
"Don't want no babies!" Sabrina whines, trying to wriggle out of Chris's lap. "Babies bad!"
Chris sighs, looking over towards Sebastian. While both Taissa ad Emma are happy about the babies - Emma especially - they've still yet to have Sabrina on board with it all. They've tried everything that they can to make her understand that this isn't a bad thing and they're not replacing her, but she's still not happy about it.
Their only hope is that once the twins are born - or preferably before - that Sabrina will come around and be happy about her younger brothers.
Whatever happens though, they're almost sure that everything will turn out okay in the end. They'll just have to make sure that all three of their daughters feel like they're getting enough time with them as they can when the twins are born....
******
"Alright, Seb, Chris. Spit it out." Scarlett says, as she, Jeremy, and Anthony are all seated in the living room. "What's the big news?"
Sebastian looks over to Chris, unsure of who should say it. They hadn't exactly planned who would be the one to tell them.
"Well, we've found out what we're having." Sebastian says, deciding that he might as well announce it as Chris make no move to do so. "We're having twins. Twin boys."
Scarlett, Jeremy, and Anthony are all quiet, before Scarlett gets up and runs over to Sebastian, pulling him in for a hug.
"Oh my god! You're finally having little boys!" She says. "And twins!"
"Man, how're you both gonna cope with having three kids under the age of two very soon?" Anthony asks. "But congrats, guys. It's about time the both of you had boys instead of girls."
Chris laughs a little, shaking his head at Anthony's words. He's unsure of how they'll cope with that, but he's sure they'll be okay in the end. They always are.
"Thanks, man." Chris says. "And I honestly don't know about that." He looks over at Sebastian. "Three kids under the age of two.... On top of the fact that Sabrina isn't happy about the new babies at all."
The fact that Sabrina still isn't happy about the new babies at all definitely isn't something that they're very happy about, but they understand why she's not. On top of not understanding exactly what's going on, she's not wanting to have to share Sebastian with two more babies. She doesn't want to give up her title as youngest just yet.
"What about your other two?" Jeremy asks. "How'd they take it?"
"Well, Emma is basically over the moon. She even believed it to be twin boys before we even found out that it's twins." Chris says. "Taissa on the other hand, I don't think she really cares all that much."
"Tai was happy to hear that she's finally going have brothers though." Sebastian adds.
"Well, that's good news." Scarlett says. "Just gotta get little Sabrina on board now."
Sebastian nods. He hopes that eventually Sabrina will get used to all of this, but he knows that her reaction to it all is normal. Though he personally has never had to go through anything like this. With being an only child, he's never had to worry about his parents giving more attention to the younger sibling than him, so really he doesn't know exactly how she's feeling.
Chris on the other hand, does know how she's feeling. At least, Sebastian assumes that he does, seeing as Chris does have a younger brother after all.
"So far she's not." Sebastian sighs, shaking his head. "She's not happy at all about the new babies."
"I'm sure she'll come around, Seb." Scarlett assures him. "She's just afraid that she won't be able to get a lot of alone time with you."
"I know." He sighs. "I just wish that she had a better reaction to the news like her sisters."
He just hopes that Sabrina will eventually come around and get used to everything that's going on, and all that's about to change in the coming months....
