Wolf was confused.
First, they’d been attacked by mute frogs.
Then, they brought in a third stranger.
And now?
Now, said stranger’s childhood friend was in their camp, and had just been a giant black lion.
Also, Kipo was bleeding, and Wolf didn’t know how to help.
She just felt so..small.

Marshall didn’t know exactly how long he’d been out.
When he woke up, there were vines wrapped around him, and their shoulder was in excruciating pain.
His bandaged hand was aching, and his eyes hurt. Why did his eyes hurt?
“Um..hello?” The pale boy called out, blinking.
“Oh, hey, you’re awake.” The pink girl responded. The marks across her face made him wince.
That’s right.
He’d found his friend, and attacked another Mega, injuring her and getting injured himself.
“How long was I asleep? I haven’t been this energized in years.” That was true-most of the time, nights for him were sleepless and too warm for his liking.
“Around four days,”
Sorry, WHAT?
I blame Jay.
What?? How is that my fault, Ari???
“I-wha-well, that explains why I’m less tired, but still, foUR DAYS??”
Sss
Kipo watched-slightly amused-as he freaked out.
It was quite funny.
“Yep. Also, you had a pretty big gash on your leg-I would’ve done more for it, but I’m not the best at injury stuff, so I just wrapped it up.”
He nodded, wriggling in his makeshift restraints. “Any chance these could be removed?”
The hybrid hesitated. On one hand, Atlas trusted him, and she trusted Atlas.
But on another hand, he’d attacked her and her group of four, and ended up giving her a wound that would most likely leave a scar.
“Uuuuh..maybe later? I’ll ask my friends,”
Of course, her friends had concerns, but they ultimately agreed on releasing him.
Marshall ran a hand through his multi-colored hair. Just grab him and go.
Ari was the most impatient out of all of them-they didn’t like to wait around for something to happen, they liked to keep moving, to be the thing that happened.
Not yet, Mars whispered. He was one of the quietest-and, along with Marshall, one of the most common fronters-but also the strategist-he came up with most of the plans, including his escape from the lab just a few days ago.
We should wait and see what these people are like. And it’d be suspicious.
There was a bit of silence before they responded. Ok, yeah, you’re right, Mars.
As usual. Came the remark.
Stop, guys, you’re being distracting. Marshall thought, before Ari could make a comeback that would result in his head becoming a war zone. Remember what happened last time?
Last time was a thing most of them tried to forget.
“You ok there?” The pink girl asked, snapping him out of his thoughts. “You kinda just..froze and went silent.”
“I-yeah, I’m fine! Just spaced out,” he responded.
Nice save, Ari said. Thank you. I’m tired, I’ve been fronting for so long. Marshall complained. If you want, I could take charge for a bit, Marsh.
Thank you, Mars!
And, with that, the host slipped back, ready to just relax inside whilst someone else took the wheel.
