Going Rogue
Summary
Basically:what if Kipo Oak, instead of growing up in a burrow, lived on the surface, with her dominant side being the jaguar?Find out:) Chapter titles yoinked from 'Family' by The Chainsmoker(ft. Kygo):)Will it have anything to do with the actual story? Maybe;]No, I seriously don't know I was looking at songs and thought 'Hey! this song might be a good title for that fic that I have no outline for!'I don’t even know what I’m doing with the story I’m literally just writing what comes to mind-I had the idea for it, wrote a prologue, and just started making random shit happen from there lmao
Note
if anyone wants to help me write this, that'd be great lol-this currently depends on my ability of not being good at sleeping and wether or not I'm busy lmaoAlso I don’t own the characters or show(except some ocs:3)Anyways here’s a prologue:D

“This is the place, where I, love you,”

He couldn’t sleep.
That was normal for him, but this time..this time it was different.
He would fall asleep, have nightmares, and wake up.
It’d been going for, like, three days.
Atlas sighed, sitting up. It was almost
Morning anyways, there was no point in trying to sleep again.

“Atlas?” He yelped, whirling around to find Marshall staring at him.
The blue-skinned boy waved, smiling anxiously.
“Why aren’t you sleeping?” His old friend asked, standing up and walking towards him.
“Y-you aren’t e-either,” he pointed out. “Well, yeah, true. But why aren’t you? You’re younger then me, you need it more then I do.”
Atlas very much disagreed.
“Just..had a bad dream.”
“Wanna talk about it?”

He hesitated before nodding, sitting down on the ground beside his friend.
“I-I was here, but I couldn’t-I couldn’t find you anywhere, a-and Scarlegmane was here and taking everybody and-and I was j-just useless.”
He murmured, glancing down at his lap. Marshall put a hand on his back, pulling him into a hug.
“I will always be there for you, ok? I’ll never be far away from you, I promise.”
“C-can..can you s-sing to m-me? Like when w-we were y-young?”
His friend smiled softly. “‘Course,”
Atlas rested his head in Marshall’s lap, closing his eyes.

“Deep in the meadow, under the willow,” his voice was quiet, but it was all he needed.
“A bed of grass, a soft green pillow,”
“Lay down your head, and close your sleepy eyes..”
“And when again they open, the sun, will rise.”
“Here it’s safe, here it’s warm,”
“Here the daisies guard you; from every harm.”
“Here you’re dreams are sweet, and tomorrow brings them true;”
“Here is the place, where I, love you.”

He didn’t know when Wolf had joined them, leaning against Marshall’s side.
“Deep in the meadow, hidden far away,”
“A cloak of leaves; a moonbeam ray.”
“Forget your woes, and let your troubles lay,”
“And when again it’s morning, they’ll wash away.”
“Here it’s safe, here it’s warm,”
“Here the daisies guard you; from every harm.”
“Here you’re dreams are sweet, and tomorrow brings them true;”
“Here is the place, where I, love you.”
“Here is the place, where I, love you.”

At some point, Kipo, Benson, and Dave had come over, Kipo with her arms wrapped around Wolf and leaning against Marshall’s side, Benson laying beside Atlas, and Dave sleeping on Benson’s stomach.
“More? Please?” The small girl asked, wide eyes looking at Marshall. He smiled again and nodded.

It always feels so quiet, in the dark,”
“It always feels so stark,”
“When silence grows under the moon;”
“And it’s always gone so soon.”
“I used to think that I was bold,”
“I used to think love would be fun,”
“Now all my stories have been told,”
“Except for one.”
“As the stars start to align,”
“I hope you take it as a sign; that you will be ok,”
“Everything will be ok.”

“And if the Seven Hells collapse, although the day will be my last,”
“You will be ok;”
“Everything will be ok,”
“When I’m gone, you’ll be ok.”
“The day that you arrived, the sun went black;”
“And artificial night,”
“You came and stole away the light,”
“And put it in your eyes.”
“How could I possibly suspect,”
“That you’d eclipse the midnight sun?”
“I thought that I knew all the moons, but then you pulled me back to one.”

“If the stars start to align,”
“I hope you take it as a sign; that you will be ok,”
“Everything will be ok.”
“And if the Seven Hells collapse, although the day will be my last,”
“You will be ok;”
“Everything will be ok,”
“When I’m gone, you’ll be ok.”
“And if the Heavens crash aground,”
“I know you’ll hear the trumpet sound,”
“And you’ll be ok,”
“Everything will be ok.”
“And when creation goes to die, you can find me in the sky,”
“Upon the last day;”
“And you will be ok.”
