The Day They Came Home
They were finally coming back home! All the adults are coming back home within two hours as the Marvel Siblings nearly screamed in joy when Fury told them... okay, they did scream in joy and jumped into Fury's arms in a hug. Apparently, the adults were gone for almost six months for the mission in Russia, which was half a year for the kids not seeing them. So far, it was the second longest therm the Marvel Siblings not being able to see their families and friends. The first was nine months of not being able to see them as the adults were in Japan. So for the kids, it was reasonable for their overjoyed reactions.
The kids were being taken care of by Fury and on occasions, S.H.I.E.L.D, but the kids mostly were with Fury and having FRIDAY for company. They hardly had time to speak with the adults when they rung to inform S.H.I.E.L.D weekly, since it was a quick call and leave. The kids missed them, however, they decide to not allow to tell the adults about the past six months since a lot has happened. Peter getting some anxiety attacks at random points of the day as it caused him to lock himself away for a week, Wanda being harassed by people whenever going outside for a walk and getting a mental breakdown on the sidewalk, and Shuri getting overwhelmed of all the work getting put on her shoulders as it caused her to collapse. Fury gave them the proper counseling for three months as it got the children up and running, causing silly mischief back again.
Fury wouldn't admit this... but he sure loves these kids, though he does get ticked off whenever they call him a pirate and chase them around with a freeze blaster once a month. He love them so much, he did however inform the adults behind the children's wishes about the children's counseling and what happened that caused this, the alarm looks on their faces were memorable on the screen. All the adults hovered over the screen, asking millions of questions at once. Though, Fury didn't answer, he requested them not to bring it up for the children as they planned not to tell them so the adults don't get worried... but mainly because Fury doesn't want the kids to get triggered with a panic attack because the counselor told him that the chances are high if anyone mentions them about their breakdowns. The Avengers agreed but assured Fury they would keep an eye on the kids just in case.
That was two months ago, now the Avengers are coming back in town! And the Marvel Siblings are throwing a large house party for their return to celebrate the occasion!
That morning, Fury entered the tower with a warm smile on his face, only to duck when Peter yelled out,
"Heads up, Fury!"
While ducking, Fury glance up to see Wanda in the air with some stacks of food in boxes as she carried them and herself with her magic. Wanda looked down at him with a giggly grin,
"Sorry, Fury!" she said, before continuing what she was doing.
"It is fine, Wanda!" Fury chuckled, getting up and turning, only to let out a startled yelp as a bunch of confetti was blown in his face.
Blinking several times, he then laughed as he saw it was only Shuri, giving him her signature, cheeky grin after blowing some party confetti in his face.
"Well, isn't it Princess Shuri of Wakanda, smartest person in the world, I see?" Fury smirked as Shuri smiled warmly at him,
"Just Shuri, director, just Shuri."
"Of course," Fury patted her shoulder as he moved pat her.
He the looked up, seeing Peter on the wall as he was busy trying to makes sure the banner was balanced.
"Welcome Back, Avengers. That is one colorful banner, you kids made it yourselves?" Fury spoke, causing Peter to look now at him, smiling warmly.
"You bet!" Peter said, finally being satisfied with the banner, jumping off the wall, doing a back flip, and landing onto his feet with a wide grin on his face.
Fury looked around the tower, seeing everything had streamers, confetti, food, and fully decorated.
"You guys really did good with the planning," Fury said, impressed.
He was glad to see the happy looks on the three children's faces,
"Thanks!" The Marvel Siblings happily said in unison, then sharing a laugh.
Fury sighs happily, watching the three children finishing up the final touch ups. Though... he couldn't help but feel slightly worried, feeling that somewhere in the near future, that someone will slap these smiles off their faces with one blow.
"FURY!"
The cheerful voices of the Marvel Siblings snapped him back to reality as he stared down at smiling, three children, looking all ready to go.
"Maria just called!" Wanda began, giggling cutely as she clapped her hand.
"Yes! She said they are coming in fifteen minutes!" Shuri added, happily shuffling a it.
"Yeah, they are going to land the jet on the roof! Come on!" Peter happily finished as he excitedly ran up and grabbed Fury's hand.
Wanda and Shuri grabbed Fury's other arm, now all three siblings were dragging Fury on the rooftop as he gladly followed with a warm smile.
The waited for fifteen minutes and that was when Wanda happily cried out, pointing into the distance,
"I SEE THEM!"
The excitement soon turned into pure love as the jet landed gracefully and the first to run out were Tony, Clint, and T'Challa as they each hugged their child with pure joy.
"Oh, Wanda! You got even prettier!" Clint laughed, swinging Wanda around as if she was a doll as she giggled in his shoulder.
"Never in a million years have I thought I would say this, but I missed you, Silly Strings!" T'Challa murmured at the smiling Shuri as he picked her up in a hug.
"Oh son! I'm so sorry I did't call and being gone for so long!" Tony exclaimed, picking up Peter off the ground in a fierce hug. " I promised, it will be Me and You time after this!"
Peter nodded happily, hugging his dad back.
Steve and Nat walked up to Fury,
"Hey, thanks Fury, for taking care of them," Steve shook his hand.
"Yes, it is greatly appreciated," Natasha agreed, smiling gently.
"It was my pleasure," Fury smiled gently back at them.
It was in fact a pleasure.
"Oh, yes!" Bruce suddenly spoke, nudging Thor and Vision. "There is someone we like yo kids to meet."
Thor and Vision's eyes lid up,
"Yes! Right!" Thor nodded. "Children, we need you to understand that these three are completely on a new leaf."
"They won't hurt you, I'll zap them if they try," Vision added.
"We present you..." Bruce added on.
Three males came out of the jet as Fury needed to take a double take of who it was.
"What... I though you were dead," Fury blinked several time.
"We thought so too," Steve murmured, smiling gently.
There they were: Erik Killmonger, Loki, and Bucky Barnes.
Silence.. until...
"LOKI HONEY!" Wanda shrieked in joy, running over to the God of Mischief as if it was the last time she will see him, leaving Clint startled.
"BUCKY! MY SON!" Shuri screeched happily, running up to the Winter Solider without a care in the world, leaving T'Challa stunned.
"DADDY KILLMONGER!" Peter exclaimed in excitement, running towards Killmonger with open arms, leaving Tony offended.
"WANDA DARLING!" Loki cried out happily, picking Wanda up in bridal style as she hugged his neck.
"MOM!" Bucky yelled out in tears of joy, swooping Shuri up her feet in a tight hug.
"MY BOY! SON!" Killmonger happily addresses Peter, picking him up in the biggest hug the boy has ever received so far.
"WANDA DARLING?!" Clint and Vision cried.
"MOM?!" T'Challa and Steve questioned.
"DADDY? SON?!" Tony gasped, looking seriously offended.
Thor, Bruce, and Nat stared in confusion as Fury shrugged.
"Oh, we all been chatting online for three years," Loki explained, still holding Wanda as he then carried her away.
"Yeah, a friendship blossomed between those two, father-son between Peter and Erik, and I got my mom!" Bucky added on, cuddling with Shuri as he carried her away.
"Yep. Best day of my life... along with Peter sending his old man Chicken Nuggets," Killmonger blissfully said.
"Oh, we have some inside, for the party!" Peter grinned as Killmonger smiled widely.
"I love this boy!" Killmonger happily said as he carried Peter away.
Leaving our favorites heroes on the roof, confused... until Fury said,
"Better go win them back before you will be left in the dust."
"WANDA!" Clint cried, sprinting inside with his bow in hand.
"SHURI!" T'Challa booked it inside, claws out.
"NO CAT IS STEALING MY SON! PETER!" Tony yelled, putting on one one of his ironman gloves on.
Steve and Vision shared a look, before they too ran in. Nat, Thor, and Bruce sighed heavily slowly walking in. Before Fury did... he paused looking into the sky for a second, before going back inside.
...
Somewhere in the galaxy, an evil was coming down to Earth.
"Beware Marvel Siblings... live with happiness right now. But I will drain all of you into my great advantage in ruling the galaxy for I am Thanos and no one could stop me."
