Summary
Tony wasn't the only one who still missed JARVIS. The 'bots did, too. After all in many ways he was their big brother. Vision understood this, so he gave them their space to mourn the loss of their family and knew they might never accept him. So when the 'bots ask for some help with a project Vision was more than happy to lend a hand... even after the whole thing snowballed away from them. Humans had such unique music, after all. Good thing the Avengers and their extended family were more than willing to pitch in.
Note
This was 2017's holiday story for the MCU WeRunYonder and I wrote. We started it WAYYYY back in September 2017, and as the list of characters to write kept growing it started taking more and more time. Not to mention in the midst of all this WeRunYonder moved and my life has literally been one disaster after another since October. Still mostly blaming WeRunYonder for how long this thing took, though.I would also like to say this story is in no way associated with the Tumblr avenger meme accounts (Which we both love and fully support!) It's pure coincidence that in 2017 they also did a music theme as if you'll go back and read OUR Tumblr posts about the story in 2016 you'll see we had already planned this one.Broke this into chapters to make it a bit easier on people since it's over 30 pages long.

Intro

“I am still not sure how you talked me into this.” Vision commented as he trailed after Dummy. The little bot beeped and whirred in excitement, the electrical field around him filling with smug satisfaction. Vision suppressed a smile, pleased by Dummy’s happiness. When he’d first come into being the robots DUMMY, BUTTERFINGERS and YOU had been very displeased with him. From what he understood JARVIS had been very close with the three bots. Given this he couldn’t hold their feelings against them. They naturally were mourning the loss of a good friend. Though their programing was relatively simple for A.I’s by Tony’s usual standard, they were still leagues ahead of anything else. Meaning they comprehend what had happened about as well as a young child. They had been hurt by the loss, and more hurt by Vision’s presence. In the world of binary, by absorbing JARVIS into his being Vision had acted like a virus, and they resented that.

It had been a long hard time of adjustment for all of them, and he had done the best he could to stay out of the way. Now that they all lived permanently at the compound in upper New York State however, things had changed. The bots had never been to this place before while Vision had been living here for a while. That gave him the opportunity to start anew in their relationship.

Entering the sub basement room where You and Butterfingers were waiting on them, he was beginning to think the three of them had played him, as Sam would say. It had started out with a request for Vision to show them the new broadcasting system that the Avengers would be using. Simple enough if he was honest even if it wasn’t strictly necessary for them to have access to it. Still, he’d been pleased to accept, recognizing it for the… olive branch… that it was. So Vision had arranged a time when he was least likely to be needed by the other Avengers in order to help his electronically based brethren.

It wasn’t like many would still be up at three A.M. on a Thursday, except for perhaps Tony. The inventor kept odd hours as well, but he was likely to be in one of his many laboratories. There was little chance of being interrupted. Which is apparently just what the bots were expecting given everything in the room. There was the expected computer screens with larger keyboards that would be easier for the robotic arms to use. But there was also something Vision recognized from Pietro's room-- a sound board-- as well as a collection of CD’s he was reasonably certain belonged to Sam.

“Something tells me you have a bit more planned for tonight than originally discussed.” He commented blandly.

You whirled excitedly, claw hand opening and closing rapidly as the bot let out a short electronic message burst. There were no words in the information dump; not words that would be familiar to the Avengers, but it was a language Vision understood. A gift as it were from JARVIS. Thanks to that gift he could tell what the plan was. ::: Learn new codes! New process! Play with broadcast! Play Music! Master Tony likes Music! We make Music Master Tony Likes! Master Tony play with us then!! Vision help?:::

“Yes, I believe I can help. Though I have a feeling your idea of what music is will not quite match up with Tony’s idea.” He replied in amusement. Vision would be no help with that, it had been over a year now and he still didn’t quite understand the noise Tony called music. Still, it would be a good opportunity to learn, and more importantly a chance to bond with the bots he felt an intrinsic connection with.
