Mischa Awakens

Mischa opened his eyes, he was awfully content with how his dream ended. It was odd how elaborate the dream was, an uncommon thing for Mischa. He remembered every detail of the dream too. It felt like something he had experienced just yesterday even though he couldn’t even remember what he actually did yesterday. He wasn’t much of an avid dreamer. Despite this, he actually quite enjoyed the dream. Another odd thing was the fact he and the rest of the St. Cassian Chamber Choir died in it. He often forgot most member’s names but after that dream it was impossible for him to forget them.

In the dream Mischa actually enjoyed hanging out with the choir. Even for some of it he dropped his gangster persona, which was shocking. He had never really done that before. He was never comfortable enough to show his real personality, rather than one his reputation held. He didn’t really care much about the choir in real life, I mean he was forced into it. Maybe he should give them a chance though.

Mischa did take into account that he had sung a dope song about his life being awesome. He sat up and grabbed his songbook to write down the lyrics so he wouldn’t forget. He also decided to write down the lyrics to the other song he sang, which was about his beloved fiancé, Talia.

While writing the lyrics he thought more about the dream. He remembered the boy, Noel, and his song. He really enjoyed it, which surprised him. Mischa hadn’t had that much fun with another person in a long time. It was like being back in Ukraine with his friends, having fun. Mischa felt a bit homesick for a moment. But that quickly washed away as he thought more about the dream.

He thought about Ocean’s song, the overbearing girl who got him into the choir. He found her annoying. She was an ass in her song, she had also dissed Mischa on multiple accounts. She was a bitch, and Mischa knew that. Although, at the end she did something unexpected. Maybe there is something underneath all that bitchy-ness.

The dream was actually really nice, and he had already forgotten he had died in the beginning of it. He was thankful that he remembered the dream.

After finishing writing down the lyrics, he decided he would get ready for school. He slipped on the uniform, and buttoned up his shirt. He was humming the songs from the dream while getting ready. They just couldn’t seem to leave his head.
