The Advisor had been on Earth for decades after falling through a time rift during the War. The incident caused them to regenerate and left them stranded on the Original Earth in late 1930s New York. As they wait for their timeline to match up with their husband, The Doctor, they decide to bide their time checking up on their husband's companions that he spoke so fondly about. During one of their visits to Sarah Jane, they have a feeling of anticipation and foreboding. The Doctor and The Advisor's timelines had finally synced up.

I am just disappointed at the lack of gender-queer characters in the Doctor Who fandom. As well as the lack of main characters who do not appear completely human. Time Lords are a species that can change gender, sex, and appearance. And that appearance doesn't necessarily have to be human. And I just feel like that is not explored enough in the show or in fanfics. Nor how that would impact their culture. Instead you have the Doctor and the Master, who at times acts sexist and racist. And I just think that it doesn't make sense coming from a species that can change both. So this is sort of my way to better explore this. While I am sapphic-asexual, I am not gender-queer. If I offend anyone who is please let me know. And remember that everyone's sexuality and gender experiences are different. I will not allow any hate or bigotry. This is a safe space.
