Prologue
In the fiery nation of Natlan, there lies a small family of three with a fourth coming their way. Like many others in their nation, the mother had fiery red hair and a burning soul of determination. She was the youngest and only daughter in her clan yet she was just as strong as her older brothers, who had practically raised her and taught her to fight.
Her built belly was swollen with her unborn child, and she groaned a bit when she gave a small kick. “Shhh, shh it’ll be ok sweetie.” A child with white hair poked his head from the doorway, a grin taking his childish face. His left front tooth was missing and a new tooth was poking out from his gums. “Mama!” Her head perked up and a smile came over her face, content. “Onacona!” She said cheerfully. A taller, and much older man appeared behind him too, a grin very similar to her son’s also on his scarred face. The man had white hair and bright blue eyes, features rather uncommon in the pyro nation, but she loved him all the same and even more. “Aiyana, we’re home honey.” Aiyana closed her eyes in content as her husband and son made a move to hug her gently. “Welcome home Koko.” He hummed in content, enjoying his wife’s much warmer body compared to his colder Cryo vision holder body.
“Mama! Mama! How is my sister doing?” Onacona asked cheerfully. “She was moving a bit a minute before you arrived buba.” Aiyana said fondly. His bright eyes twinkled in wonder. “Really?” He pressed his ear softly to her exposed belly and Koko laughed fondly at the excited boy. He gasped when he felt a small movement underneath. “Mama! Papa! She kicked! She kicked!”
“What? She did! My turn!”
“No! You got your turn before we left for the markets! It’s my turn papa!” Aiyana laughed, joy overflowing her heart as her husband and son’s childish bantering. “You’re so loved… so so loved.. I’m so excited to meet you, my sweet baby girl.” A stronger kick. Koko and Onacona both let out twin cheers, one’s voice more deeper than the other, upon feeling the stronger kick.
“The world will love you.”
