They were there. No clue how they were, no clue what has happened previously, but they were present. Miku and Emi in a room. How is this going to turn out? Miku and Emi instantly clicked as they started a conversation, specifically about inventing something. Our invention, or specifically theirs, but what could it be? What are they going to invent?
Love. A mystery.
Emi sat down for her blind date. They didn’t expect anything special, just another lame girl who was too absorbed with herself to even ask about Emi.
What she didn’t expect was for a girl with long, turquoise hair to enter the café.
It reminded them of her childhood. Of an invention she couldn’t quite recall.
“Hello, are you Emi?” The familiar girl asked, voice sweet as honey. Emi felt their face heat up.
“Oh- Uhm, yes! Sorry, that’s rude of me.” She said getting up and pulling back the girls seat for her to sit down. She did so, and Emi returned back to their place as well. “If I may ask, what’s your name?”
“Miku. You can call me Miku.”
That name felt familiar. But Emi just couldn't put their thumb on it.
"Uh-uhuhmm.. My name- is- Emilia The Third Greatest Darkness!"
Emi didn't know what the fuck she just said. Something about this Miku girl made the logical wires in their brain cross and spark on fire.
Miku didn't pay attention to Emi's confused sentence. In fact, she found it rather endearing.
"Are you okay?" the twin-tailed woman had a certain robotic quality to her voice. Emi found it strange but figured it'd be rude to comment about it.
"..Y-yea!" she stammered. Shit, Emi couldn't control her blushing. She knew her face was lighting up like fireworks on New Years.
And she knew Miku could tell.
Emi covered her mouth, flustered.
"Oh, dear. Do you have a fever?"
A persons hand never felt so cold yet warm to the touch.
..They must have a fever.
