Get Back!
Dusk was right to follow Zuzana. No matter how careful the woman was, Dusk was able to pick up on a lot of things the woman thought she could hide. Leaving suddenly with a black bag was one of them, as well as getting into a car that would blend in well with the night and all the paths she took. Even with all her tracking chips and devices removed from the car, Dusk managed to follow her from far behind. Making sure to wear nothing but black and turn on her motorcycle's headlights only when she needed to. Of course, she had made sure to make her motorcycle run silently and it took time to do so but it never stopped her once. "Ana get away from that man! Why the hell didn't you kill him!?" She barked it and within a blink of an eye, Zuzana was back on her side, gun out, but the man already had two guns pointed at both Zuzana and Dusk's head. "I'm sorry, I wasn't feeling right in the head, I think one of the servants put a drug in my drink...I wasn't thinking properly." Zuzana sounded more level headed now but it didn't dare stop her from lowering her gun.
"Awe looks like my plan to take over the mansion was a failure then? Guess I should go after another pair of rich bitches who aren't so well trained, or well. Lucky I should say." The man said but, his voice cold and calm but Dusk paused as she lowered her gun slightly. The voice sounded all too familiar, but it sounded like the person was trying to either alter or hide their real voice. Dusk shook the thought from her mind and re-raised her gun. "What did you take from Ana?" Her voice was just as calm and level headed as Zuzanas. "Just a small bag, I tricked into saying I was one of her lost family members and that I need her to meet me here and to bring money so I could pay off my debts. Of course, the drug a little spy of mine was supposed to plant worked, screwing up you're friends thought patterns here but, I never thought you would follow her." The man said it calmly and Dusk paused again. That voice, there were times when he didn't speak in an accent and for once, Dusk lowered her gun. "Melody!? What are you doing? Raise your dam gun! We need to shoot this shitty man and take him in for investigation!" Zuzana's voice was harsh and cold but, She couldn't do it, she couldn't raise her gun again and she spoke one simple phrase. "A....Acair....is that you?"
The man seemed to show no reaction as he laughed, and by then Dusk was sure of it as tears started to well up in her eyes, it was making it more challenging for her to see. "Who the hell is Acair? My name is Edion!" The man barked it and for once, Dusk tried the one thing her brother could never say no to, tears streaming down her face, trying to make it as visible as possible she was crying. "Acair! It's me Dusk! Don't you remember me! Please!" Dusk couldn't conceal her emotions any longer, her voice sounded harsh and broken as she was praying to long-forgotten gods that this was her brother. The man's gun he held by his side, trying to conceal it, soon went from holding firm to gently shaking. A small click was heard and before Dusk knew it, a small sharp pain hit her gut as Zuzana screamed. "Melody get down!" Zuzana being the one to try and tackle Dusk to the ground as she heard a bullet sip by and barely graze the side of her forehead, a bit of blood appearing.
Both Zuzana and Dusk crashed to the ground, the pain seeming to vanish almost instantly as she sat up, only to see Acair running away deep into the woods to try and disappear, holding his shoulder in pain. His brother must have been gotten recently drug as well, or he was putting on an act to hide what they were. "Zuzana! Help me! That's my brother Acair! We need to stop him!" She barked it, a bit of hope and worry in her voice as she scrambled to her feet and began to run after him, no weapons currently in her hand, and soon found Zuzana running by her side, Acair ahead of them only by a few feet. "Acair stop! Please! I want an explanation! To talk to you! Anything!" She barked it out. Dusk pulling out a rather sharp dagger from her pouch as she began to hack and slash any tree branches or brush that got in her way. Zuzana was in the middle of firing her gun, though with all the brush and branches blocking their visibility, she was missing nearly every shot or what looked to be only grazing him.
She honestly didn't think of anything of it, sense Dusk found guns horrible to use and own. She liked to be up close and personal with whoever she wanted to kill. Her healing ability allowed her reckless actions. "Zuzana I have an idea!" Her voice was near ear-shattering as she kept running, still slashing away anything in her way. "Yeah what is it?" Her voice was nearly just as loud. "Can you ricochet bullets well?" Dusk feeling like she was about to just say fuck it and soon threw knives at her brother to try and stop him. "Yeah I get what you want, I'll aim for his legs!" Zuzana's voice hid the confidence but Dusk simply smiled and kept on running, as a nearby small rock looked like the perfect target, but only with one use before the bounce of the bullet would shatter it. Zuzana fired the gun right where Dusk thought she would but something must have gone horrifically wrong, as one moment she was running as fast as her legs would carry her, and the next she was falling to the hard forest floor, everything going dark within a matter of seconds.
