Still think that I’m cute? (Nova/Kiriona)
Kiriona Gaia hasn't seen her cavalier since she died although she held their shared memories dearly.
As she was on her way to the cell where the cohort kept her cavalier Kiriona Gaia was reimagining a little nonsense of moment.
Nova finally accepted her place as her cav - for real - not just for show. Harrow moved to the bunk at the end of Gideon's bed and they were talking all night until:
"Sleep now, you cute idiot." Said Nova once already half in a dream.
After a completely unnecessary breath, Kiriona gave the order and the guards opened the door.
Nova had been found in New Rho, dressed like the Edenites.
She wasn't wearing any face paint or weaponry but Kiriona caught the little move of Nova's hand as she was reaching for the chain automatically. Kiriona wished that her cavalier had her weapons so they could fight instead of this.
Kiriona knew how terrible she looked, and she hated the expressions on the other's face. She can handle Harrow's rage but she doesn't know what to do with the grief and guilt.
"Still think that I'm cute?" She asked with a false smile.
