A new friend in this circumstance
At first i couldn't remember anything.
Not my name, not my age and not my past.
It was strange, like an feeling of calmness but eerieness. I wasn't sure how to feel, shouldn't i feel panicked by the absence of my past? Shouldn't i be wondering if i even had a past? Shouldn't i be wondering if anyone is looking for me from my past?
Well i didn't. For a moment i only looked around to see if there was anyone in this.. Quite filthy room.
The room was full of some kind off green yet torquise ink on the walls and floor, if i wasn't spoken to the next second i would of thought i was going to be killed with my blood next on the walls.
'Hello..' said the octoling shyly, she looked scared but who wouldn't be in this condition.
I bet neither of us remember anything about our selves. It was numbing trying to remember anyways it was as if our attempts at finding our past identity was forced to be hard and even maybe impossible
Maybe it was fate to not know.
'Hello' i spoke back dryly, it's not like i knew her personaly (or maybe i did but i have no idea). She was a bit short to say the least but she still had a strong look, probably emotionally wise though.
Her tentacles were curly and wide, i believe that she has that one condition that has her tentacles move on their own but i'm not sure. Her constant shaking made it hard to know.
'what's your name? It seems that were the only ones here and i can' t find a exit so why not introduce ourselves '
' I..I can't remember ,i'm sorry ' she said with a hint of sadness and sorrow.
' neither do i, we're twinning' i thought, not to make light of the situation but to relate.
'Welcome to the club, wanna name each other?' i said in a manner of lighthearted joking
'i can go first if you'd like some thinking time'
In a response she said 'thank you!'
I decided that her name should be
'Lumie'
'Lumie, what a nice name!Thank you!' Lumie said gleefully.
'so your name shall be Luxpinna!'
'sorry it took a while to decide, a name has to special, doesn't it?'
Lumie was right but our past name did have to be special, so why did we forget?
Â
Hours past making possibilities about the place we're in and how we even got here.
We even tried to uncover the past but our memories never seemed to fade back, they seemed too far in the depth of our mind. Lost forever and forever stray.
Until now there was no sign of anyone else but that was proven wrong as some greenish octoling opened an door we never knew existed.
'welcome test subject 2367 and 2368, sorry for the long wait' her voice seemed robotic and as if there was no cehalopod left in there but only a husk of what she was.
'what do you mean test subject' asked Lumie, i couldn't tell if she was starting to get aggressive or just plain curious but i couldn't tell. It's hard to know a persons behavioural patterns in the span of 6 hours, but with only 6 hours, we were getting quite close either way.
The greenish not-so-cephalopod-but-just-a-husk-of-her-former-self responded with 'you agreed to joining the route for the promised land, did you not?'
Without a chance to respond she carried on (how rude)
'Your uniform will be given soon, here' s your keycards for the tests. The will also be a document explaining everything 2367 and 2368,see you soon'
Then the zombie left
'What?'
