The first test

As I stood there, dazed and confused, the only word that escaped my lips was "what." How did I, as "test subject" 2367, agree to be a part of this twisted experiment? The conditions of this cell was disgusting , and the facility was filled with zombie-like creatures that looked more brain-dead than actual rocks who were some researchers or something . The walls were stained with musty ink that had long passed its expiration date (if ink even had an expiration date) , adding to the already unsettling atmosphere. Lumie, my fellow prisoner, shared my bewilderment and vented her frustration by trying to punch down the door for answers.

We both craved an explanation, even a shred of evidence as to why we were here. But instead, we were left in the dark, wondering and speculating. Suddenly, a hatch opened, and a bundle of clothes was unceremoniously thrown onto the floor in front of us.

I scanned the pile of clothes in front of me, relieved to see something that resembled a decent outfit - black shorts, a black t-shirt, and a blue jacket. Lumie, on the other hand, was given a much smaller set of the same clothes, accompanied by socks that seemed to be reserved for her. "These must be for the tests," I muttered, trying to make sense of the situation.

"It's not fair that you don't get socks and I do," Lumie protested, although I doubted anyone was listening. But to our surprise, a moment later, a pair of socks flew out of the hatch, as if in response to her complaint.

After a few minutes of awkward silence, we were instructed to change into the clothes provided. Despite the "SOS" message scrawled on the label, the clothes were not half-bad. They seemed to have been previously worn, but were still in decent condition.

'i don't get it'
'why do we have to be here?'
Lumie spoke angrily, but i was beginning to accept my fate, like how was i even going to get out of this place.
This labyrinth
I shared her confusion, but there was little we could do. A small jelly like creature in a train conducter hat had approached us as we started to get escorted , informing us that we had been selected for a round of tests that involved teamwork and problem-solving. She had escorted us onto the deep sea metro and handed us a set of instructions before leaving us alone in the dimly lit carriage. The blue jelly creature also informed us that if we fail a test, they wouldn't hesitate to blow up our inktank, so that's nice.

As we read through the instructions, it became clear that these were no ordinary tests. They involved complex puzzles and challenges that required us to work together in order to succeed. Lumie and I exchanged worried glances - we had never been particularly good at teamwork, probably because we met 10 hours ago (i know this because i have not slept yet at all) . But we had no choice but to try our best.

As the metro rumbled through the dark depths of the ocean floor, it became apparent that the researchers hated us as we had to work tirelessly to solve each challenge. The pressure was intense, and the small space of the station's test only added to our anxiety. But somehow, we managed to push through and complete all of the tests.

We knew that there was no escape from this underground facility. But for the moment, we were focused on surviving the next round of tests - whatever they may be.
