Big Sissy Ame and Lil Sissy Jazzy
Waking up to suddenly being in water and the diamonds all together, was a very weird way to wake up for sure. Amethyst explained to her everything. It hurt a lot knowing the truth about Pink Diamond. She didn't want to believe it, but there were the diamonds and it had to be true. It was all just too confusing, but the runt gem was there for her to work it though. She was the one who encouraged her to stay on earth and try to overcome her issues. When Japser tried to claim she didn't have any issues, she was just given a look. In the end she ended up agreeing to move into Amethyst's room, much to the disliking of Garnet who didn't fully trust the gem who abused fusion, and Pearl who was worried for Steven's safety.
The Purple gem also showed her the good parts of earth. Food was the first thing Amethyst introduced her to. While they didn't need it, Jasper could understand why she ate food, it was very tasty. When they went around the purple gem introduced her to the humans as her sister. It made Jasper feel oddly nice. Humans were weird, but they seemed pretty friendly to Amethyst and willing to give her a chance. Jasper felt very awkward around them, she would be too aggressive at one point or shy at others. Most the time she'd just let Amethyst talk. All she knew about life was fighting, so her “sister” had to help teach her.
Amethyst found these cool bunk beds, according to her bunk beds were the beds of real sisters. It made Jasper kind of happy in a weird way. She got bottom bunk since she was bigger. Amethyst's blankets were black and simple, her sister had gotten her pink blankets with darker pink stripes. It was pretty cute and they were really fluffy and soft too. Beds were for sleeping and the purple gem taught her how to sleep. It was weird but nice. She had things that the over cooked gem called dreams. They were... interesting, in a good way. But, then she had bad dreams, nightmares was what Amethyst called them. She had woken up crying. It had been a dream about the other gems from her kindergarten being shattered, then Pink Diamond, but then Amethyst was shattered by Lapis. It was confusing because that never happened. Amethyst had to explain that nightmares, and dreams, weren't always based in reality. Tigah helped the nightmares.
Tigah was very special to Jasper, probably her most beloved item. When Amethyst invited her to go to Funland, she was nervous but excited. Until she discovered it was a trap for her to hang out with other gems besides just the purple one. Peridot, Lapis and Steven were all there. While Steven was nice to her, Lapis was still very angry at her, and to be honest Jasper was very uncomfortable with the blue gem as well. Nether of them wanted to be around each other. Back before things were different she didn't know any better. But, Amethyst helped her understand about fusions and that kind of stuff better. She had been a victim of Malachite, she had been so focus on the fact when she stopped being Malachite she felt weak, a feeling she still couldn't stand. But, it was Lapis that held her down under the ocean, it was Lapis who imprisoned them, making her drown in the mind of the fusion. It had hurt, but she assumed all fusions hurt. According to her “sister” that wasn't true though.
Lapis yelled at Amethyst for inviting her and called her things like evil cruel and other such things. But, the purple gem defended her. Protected her from the water gem's words. It felt nice. In the end Amethyst took her to the amusement park without the other gems. She even won her a pretty large stuffed tiger, while Jasper didn't know what tigers were it looked like her and it was soft. The gift made her very happy. Which Amethyst named Tigah, because that's Jasper had asked “And what are these Tigahs?” While she corrected the orange gem, it was a joke, that just stuck.
Human children confused Jasper the most, no matter how much Amethyst explained to her about them, it just made no sense. They weren't just born knowing their role in life? They weren't born with a job to do? Then there were the things made for children, they looked interesting. Amethyst never judged her, in fact she encouraged her to explore those feelings.
So Jasper told Amethyst that she wanted to explore acting like one of those human children. The purple gem was more than happy to be her “big sissy” which made the orange one blush brightly. It was kind of funny though. In many ways Jasper understood Amethyst was already her big sister and in many ways she was already the little sister, after all big sisters jobs were to teach and protect their younger siblings. Or at least that's what it seemed like from her viewings of human nature, from earth and the human zoo (which she only was at for a very short time before Yellow took her)
They made sure no one else could get into their room when Jasper tried out these young human activities. Mostly because she was ashamed and scared of what other gems would think. Her big sissy would put her long long hair into pretty pig tails which made her feel very pretty and cute. She would transform her outfit into overall dress most the time and a thing the humans called “diapers” mostly because it looked cute on the humans. She didn't know their true use.
“Ame! Story time?” Jasper asked shyly holding Tigah tightly in her arms. “Ok Jazzy, how about I tell you about the time Purple Puma teamed up with Tiger Millionaire” Amethyst smiled pulling the bigger gem so she was leaning back into her embrace.
