Judge not of men and things at first sight.
Monty jumped as something small and hard hit the back of his head. Confused, he turned around to see where it had come from. then another one hit him square in the nose. Ow. He bent down to pick it up, only to realize that it was a Sundrop candy, with yellow and orange wrapping. Another one landed on his back. "Damn that Sun. Where the hell are you?" He called. He was surprised when he heard a small, muffled giggle coming from the vents that sounded nothing like the usual laughter the jester had thrown at him many times before. Now don't get him wrong, this was definitely Sun. He could tell from the start, but this one was different. It sounded so undeniably happy. He had an odd feeling upon realizing this, because when he really thought about it, in spite of the unsettling toothy grin he always held upon his face and the hysterical laughter he had heard so, so many times before that, the jester never really seemed happy.
He grunted as another Sundrop landed on his back. Maybe he was reading too far into this. "I swear to god Sun, if you don't come out right now, I'm going to drag you out of that vent with my own two hands!" He shouted. He sat down and when he looked up, there was the stupid grin and empty eyes of none other than the sun himself, hanging from the safety rail of the second story of the main atrium with his hands and legs. Sun waved in the gators face, "Ho ho ho! Its always a pleasure to see you, Montgomery!" He said in his usual voice. "Fuck off," was all the gator had to say in return. "Well, friend, remember that time you were saying that thing I didn’t care about?" He asked. "I’m busy right now, can I ignore you another time?" The gator grunted. "Anyways, apparently all that stuff you said was true! Moon's having a great time with your friend Roxanne! I'd suggest you go make sure she makes it out alive." Sun warned.
"What the fuck did he do to Roxanne?!" Monty shouted back. Sun suppressed the urge to flinch. "Well... I'm not terribly sure, now am I? You know how Roxanne has those special eyes that can see through things? Well, Moon wants those!" Sun chirped in reply. "Well where the hell are they?!" He was screaming now. "I-I'm not too sure..." Sun said quietly. "Goddammit Sun! Can't you just fucking tell me? Or are too goddamn stupid?!" He shouted at him. This time Sun really did flinch, nearly falling off of the rail. He jumped down and looked at Monty again. "Th-they're probably in- in the daycare.." he said quietly.
Crap. Monty didn't really mean to get so angry at Sun- Like, he really scared the guy. Maybe he should apologize? No... think about who you're talking too. He helps Moon! Okay, maybe not directly, but he distracts us while moon is up to no good. And even so, he a goddamned nuisance! Although he did tell him about Roxanne... Still. That was one time, and he was probably taunting him- Crap, Roxanne! He turned around and ran for the exit, leaving Sun behind. He glanced back, and saw Sun.
He looked scared, but why? Even though they hated them, it's not like he ever really hurt him. Freddy had always insisted that nobody hurt him. He said that, "I know you're all mad at him. I am too. But hes not really hurting any of us. Plus, he warned us about Moon hurting Chica. I don't want to find out that a single one of you guys laid any of your hands on him." He had insisted on giving him the benefit of the doubt, "Well, he hasn't really hurt any of us. I think we should at least not hurt him in return. We all know Chica would have been decommissioned if he hadn't spoke up, so clearly he dosn't want us to be hurt." He remembered scoffing at that, because Sun had also purposefully distracted them when Moon...dealt with Bonnie.

Sun waited anxiously by the entrance to parts and services, pacing back in forth. He wasn't supposed to tell Monty about Roxy. He was in huge trouble. He shouldn't have said anything! But he just had too- after hearing what Freddy had said about not wanting anyone to hurt him and trying to trust him, he wanted to try to prove his loyalty- or at least that he was trying. If he hadn't said anything, then they would have lost all trust in him. He shivered as he remembered what happened when he told Roxy about Chica and moon...
"N-no! Please! I'm sorry!" Sun had shouted painfully. He shakily looked up to his best friend..his brother, his other half, who had clenched fists. "I'm sorry Sunny. You know I don't want to do this, don't you?" He was met with silence. "But you ruined everything!" he shouted as his fist made contact with his face. Moon raised his hand again and Sun cowered, covering his head with his arms and one leg. Moon shoved Sun to the ground, and as he approached, Sun scooted farther into the corner he was in, with tears streaming down his face. "I-m sorry! I won't ever do it again!" he cried. "Sun, if you don't shut the fuck up, you're going to regret this even more." As he spoke, Sun flinched.
It had been at least an hour, probably more since Moon had left, and Sun laid on the ground, sore and bruised in every inch of his lanky body. He pulled himself up into a sitting position and winced in pain. It would be six am very soon, in nine minutes, thirty seven seconds to be exact. So he stood up and tried to ignore the pain in his sore body. he had summoned his wire to go to the daycare. But then he heard it. Footsteps, loud and metal, coming towards him. He almost flinched, before realizing that the steps belonged to one to the Glamrocks. He quickly ran into a corner and hid behind some boxes in order to avoid confrontation. The doors swung open and none other than the Montgomery Gator walked in. Seven minutes, forty nine seconds until six.
Sun had waited a whole two minutes twenty one seconds for Montgomery to leave. with only five minutes and twenty eight seconds, he attached himself to the wire and flew as fast as he could to the daycare, but he had to take a longer and less efficient route to avoid being spotted by one of the big four. By the time that he had made it to the daycare, there was only fifty seven seconds left until six. That was a close one. At least he had another hour until seven, when the daycare would officially open.
He fell to the ground in exhaustion, and pulled his knees to his chest. when he finally got up, he found that he had cried a total of twenty seven minutes and forty two seconds. Pathetic.
