How it started
There was a knock on the door before the last of the mafia executives entered joining the rest on one side of the room. They were quite late and if they were worried they did not show it. That was the thing with the akutagawa siblings. They were siblings with many emotions yet all that could be seen was the piercing grey eyes that bore into both friend and foe.
“Now that everyone is present we will begin explaining this sudden alliance.” A chilling voice spoke as everyone perked up involuntarily to listen. “You see recently there have been quite a few suspicious sightings near the outskirts of Yokohama that we have been able to identify as being multiple villains seeking shelter. Of course, that in itself is an issue as they seem to have found a way to cross our borders however that is not our main concern.”
“The real issue is the pro heroes who are forcefully crossing and destroying the area all the while claiming it is necessary hero work despite it being illegal to do such ‘hero work’ in Yokohama” A kid with white choppy bangs began frantically looking at his colleagues in hopes of understanding what this meant.
The first to speak was a short detective sitting next to a large wagon filled to the brim with an assortment of brightly wrapped sweets and snacks, “So basically, you’re saying there are villains and heroes illegally crossing our borders and stirring trouble and you want us to help you deal with them”
“More or less” a cunning smile stretched across his pale lips as the child next to his desk momentarily glanced up to give him a disgusted look.
“You see we have gathered information on Japan to discover the cause of this and we are being led to believe it is the return of a feared villain who goes by the name all for one,” a bandaged man snorted at hearing the name causing quite a few dirty looks to be thrown his way. “You see he is leading a criminal organisation called the league of villains “ Yet another snort could be heard followed by muffled laughter.
“This organisation has yet to earn a name for themselves but that does not stop the villains who were previously indebted to said leader from fleeing at the smallest sight of his return. This makes the heroes believe they have a right to cross into Yokohama which means that to stop this we must eliminate him.”
“Of course with him having been in hiding for so long we are unable to track him down which means we have very few leads. One of them being that his main target is the number one hero all might. Therefore we have reason to believe that there will be a traitor among the new school year in UA where he will be teaching. So-”
“So you are going to send people from the armed detective agency and the port mafia into UA undercover to find the traitor and deal with all for one as well as the heroes to instill fear in them and their citizens to stop them from underestimating and invading Yokohama.” Said the detective resulting in a few wary glances sent his way from the port mafia.
He chuckled before responding “yes you are quite right Ranpo-kun. Now on to who we will be sending”
He turned to face the silver haired male notifying him to begin speaking.
“From the armed detective agency we have decided to send kyouka, and dazai while from the port mafia it will be gin akutagawa.” A chorus of complaints rose across the room before they were silenced by the port mafia boss raising his hand.
“The reason for this choice would be Dazai, and Gin’s previous infiltration experience as well as their capability to make informed decisions in case of an event where they will be required to act on their own and Kyoka has been chosen for her strong ability as well as her ability to fight without it in case she encounters the hero Eraserhead.”
“What are you gonna do about our age since I doubt any of us could pass for 15 even if we tried” Dazai smiled.
“We have been in contact with an ability user to deal with that already. Now as we were saying these three will infiltrate UA with Gin in the support group and the others in the heroics class. Koyou will join as a teacher and Nakahara-kun will join the league of villains . Any questions.”
At this no one spoke up causing a few minutes of silence before the port mafia boss spoke up again “Also we will have Atsushi and Akutagawa infiltrate a separate hero school and then due to an ‘incident’ they will be transferred to UA . You will all be given separate files containing information and what you will be required to do”
The bandaged man chuckled “The fact that you are sending so many people with so many measures in place means that this is far more serious than you let on. Is it possible Yokohama may be going to war with Japan and you are therefore upholding information”
“Of course not Dazai kun as we are currently not at war but with the way things are progressing it may be possible. I was simply trying to remain optimistic”
He smiled as if amused while he spoke this but if you looked closely their was a hint of annoyance at having been discovered so quick.
The port mafia barely reacted to the information while the Ada looked around unsure before settling on keeping quiet after seeing their directors face.
“Well then it’s decided you will be given lessons by both the Ada and port mafia to prepare for the entrance exam. Until then you are dismissed”
All at once they began filing out while whispering among themselves along the lines of “why do we even need to work with those childish detectives” and “who does he think he is to boss us around”
Once everyone had left I decided to speak up.
“Is it really alright to just leave out so many key bits like that”
“Why wouldn’t it be” mused the man.
