Wednesday and Enid were just casually chilling in their dorm.
Enid was listening to kpop dancing around. And Wednesday was writing her novel.
The calmness of the room was of course interrupted (because there's no such thing as normal when you live with Wednesday) when the ceiling burst open.
Enid fell to the ground in shock, she took off her headphones and looked up at the now broken ceiling. Wednesday of course being her naturally cool self simply looked at the ceiling. Not blinking. Not even when dust went into her eyes.
"What the fuck-" Enid didn't even get to finish her sentence when this bright blue flaming creature hopped down into their dorm.
The creature was 2D, and pixelized. There was also this silver floating eye that was staring into Enids soul. The most confusing part of this creature though, was the fact that another weird creature flew down like a rocket but it was on a skateboard.
The creature walked up to Enid. Enid of course not registering that this blue thing was walking towards her just stared at it like an idiot.
The creature then threw a large red bottle that shattered on impact of the floor in front of Enid.
All of Enids recent pains from working out those gains dissappeard instantly.
That's when Enid finally caught up.
"Oh! Thanks small blue flaming creature with scary armor!" Enid jumped up and stuck to the unbroken part of the ceiling. She did not know how she stuck there.
"Oh sick I'm spiderman now!" She then started crawling around like a possessed human in a horror movie but less scary.
Wednesday got out of her very uncomfortable chair and extended her arms in a way that should not be humanly possible, and grabbed Enid harshly. She was then thrown on her bed, breaking it in the process.
"Stop the crawling this instant. We must get rid of this creature with the floating eye before it takes our soul."
"But Wednesday my bed is broken-"
"Don't worry about that."
Enid hopped out the rubble and brushed off the dust. "Fine, but this creature with 10 floating rainbow swords, which by the way is hurting even my eyes, is cool. We match eachothers wave lengths.
Wednesday crossed her arms in a sassy but subtle way. "What does that even mean? This creature isn't even part of our dimension."
"You just don't understand my shared wave lengths."
Wednesday blinked for once in her life before huffing.
"Fine."
The small creature thing interrupted the two by hitting the ceiling. It seemed it was trying to fly it's way back into the hole it came from.
Now that Enid and Wednesday think about it, that hole did not have the regular blue sky that they are used to. But instead it was extremely red. Heat was clearly radiating from it. And from some odd reason there was music coming through the hole as well.
The creature hit the ceiling again. It stood still for a moment. The boom the alien riding a skateboard was replaced was replaced by a dark tree looking thing that immediately started flying around but it was faseing through the walls.
Enid decided she'd had enough of the creature hitting the ceiling and helped moved the creature in the correct spot.
The creature flew up, it's bright wings leaving dust in its wake. The creature then threw down a bright blue item that looked like a tentical. Before closing up the hole never to be seen again.
Enid of course wondering what the item was picked it up. The item shifted into a cool looking ring. She was so enomerd with the ring she didn't notice the bright blue floating eye that was lighting up the whole room.
"Enid I would suggest looking to your right."
"Huh why-" She turned and saw the eye and immediately took the ring off.
The eye dissappeard. The room seemed noticeably darker.
She back on and the eye reappeared again.
Enid then realized it was glowing eye thing that was floating behind the flaming blue creature.
"Look Wednesday I have a floating eye!" Enid pointed at the eye.
"Yes Enid I have eyes."
"Hey Wednesday are you done with your writing hour yet?"
Wednesday sighed her version of a sigh. "No but I feel as though my inspiration for this evening is gone. So yes I suppose so."
Enid smilled brightly. "Can we cuddle? I've missed you."
"We've been in the same room for hours. But yes we shall I've missed you too mi amor."
Enid smiled even wider somehow. She then took off the ring and set it on her nightstand. And hopped in bed fully extending her arms so Wednesday can lay on top of her in a koala cuddle style.
When they were situated and comfortable they fell asleep like that.
In another dimension the blue flaming creature marked the hole it made with a rainbow pillar.
Then it flew to the right. It never knew how it always remembered what was important and what was not but it would rather not think about it, so it went upon its duty to kill other worldly beings.
