Chapter 13
Things had been going well. A little too well, but nothing that the bunny couldn’t handle. She was falling deeper and deeper for Dong and everything just felt right.
“So you’ll go with me?” Dong whispered, arm wrapped loosely around Minji’s waist while they lounged on the couch after a long day of work.
The two would spend nights with one another, mostly at Dong’s apartment since Minji swore her neighbors would break down her door if she brought a human in the building.
“Yeah, just tell me what I need to wear,” Minji mumbled before nuzzling into Dong’s neck.
“Just something nice, nothing too fancy,” Dong mumbled.
“Sweats got it,” Minji smirked before pressing her lips to her girlfriend’s neck.
“You’re impossible,” Dong hissed when she felt a small bite, then a little laugh. “Why did you nip me?” She frowned.
“I nibble. Not nip,” Minji pouted before pulling away. “You like when I nibble on you…” She frowned while moving to straddle her girlfriend’s waist. “Are you changing your mind?”
“Never, just that one hurt…” Dong whined.
“I’ll kiss it better,” Minji smirked.
Sure, the bunny had a lot of experience with various things. But she never had an experience quite like the one she always had with Dong. Taking their time, never rushing, enjoying every small touch and making everything last.
The amount of times she had to push the younger woman off of her after the fourth orgasm and on the verge of tears from the pure overstimulation alone made her laugh every time.
“I told you…” the bunny panted before pulling her girlfriend up to her face. “Stop it,” She smiled before cupping her face and pulling her in for a deep kiss.
No matter how many times they spent the night together, Minji never got tired of it. She loved it. Loved feeling loved. Everything about her girlfriend screamed love and adoration.
When it came time for the events Dong had invited her to, it was winter. A holiday party her firm threw to celebrate their staff and something to bump elbows and enjoy the families of their staff.
Minji picked at her dress, smoothening the wrinkles that came from sitting in the car for some time. Another fancy restaurant where she had to wear a collar. She was happy Bora was more than willing to lend her another, one much more minimalist that went well with her dress.
“I know you don’t like these places… But we’ll eat, stay a bit to chat, and then leave so we can get into our pajamas and watch terrible tv,” Dong whispered while they walked into the building.
Minji frowned as she scanned the place, not finding a single hybrid except for a few dog hybrids. She shuffled awkwardly as they made their way in, checking their coats and walked in to the dining area.
Immediately, Dong was greeted by a few people, each one more absurd than the last.
“Oh… Didn’t peg you as a bunny type…” One of her collegues chuckled.
“I work in tech…” Minji muttered.
“Oh! Interesting!” He immediately changed his tune, actually engaging the bunny rather than judging her.
It was everyone’s tune. The second they heard about her job being a normal one they were suddenly very nice and causal.
Everything was starting to be a little normal, word spreading that the only bunny in the entire venue was normal, allowing Minji to breathe. Until Dong left her alone at the table.
“I’m just going to run to the restroom, I’ll be back,” Dong bent down to kiss the top of her head, leaving the bunny alone at the dinner table with strangers.
“So tech, what exactly do you do?” One of the wives asked.
“I’m a consultant, I schedule the technicians calendars and schedule client meetings as well as demonstrations for installations,” Minji explained.
“Ah, so like a pimp for the IT world,” she joked.
“I’m sorry?” Minji frowned.
“Well, you have to understand the stereotype for bunnies…” She sighed. “Clearly you know them right?” She asked, slightly annoyed with how Minji questioned her own question.
“I’m highly aware of the stereotypes to my kind. I’m actually quite offended that someone as supposedly educated as yourself is still dumb enough to ask such inappropriate questions.” She glared at the woman, watching her place a hand on her chest and pretend to be appalled at her words.
“Well, I never thought Dong would ever drop her standards to the likes of you. Someone who doesn’t even know her place in this big world she’s calling home. Why don’t you just go back home and pretend you’re normal there then?”
Minji could feel her blood boiling, but she couldn’t lash out. She couldn’t ruin Dong’s reputation. So she stayed silent, decided to just look away from the women who were causing her so much grief.
“What’d I miss?” Dong smiled when she returned back.
Minji leaned closer to her girlfriend, just so the women wouldn’t be able to read her lips.
“I want to go home… Please take me home,” She whispered.
When Minji pulled away, Dong had never seen that look on her face before. Had never seen the bunny look so incredibly down or even that lost before.
“Okay, okay…” She stood up with her girlfriend, both walking out before being stopped by what Minji could assume to be her boss.
“Already heading out?” He frowned.
“Yeah… She doesn’t feel good,” Dong whispered while placing an arm around Minji’s waist.
“Oh? Well, I hope you feel better then Miss. Kim… it was a pleasure speaking with you earlier,” He frowned.
Minji nodded her head, leaning further into Dong’s side as they walked out of the restaurant and waited for the valet to bring the car around.
“I feel sick…” Minji whispered.
“Really?” Dong immediately held her tighter, watching her nod her head. “I’ll drive slow and we can crack the window,” She whispered.
Minji was silent the entire time, staring out the window and not engaging in any conversation that Dong attempted. At least until she recognized which home she was going to.
“My home…” Minji frowned, finally looking at her girlfriend. “I want to go to my home…” She whispered.
“Okay… You said you didn’t feel good so… I don’t want you to be alone if you’re sick…” Dong whispered, placing a hand on the bunny’s leg.
“I’ll be fine,” Minji mumbled.
It was another twenty minutes before the car pulled up to the building, allowing Minji to unbuckle herself and gather herself.
“I’ll text you when I get home,” Dong whispered, watching her girlfriend get out of the car without even a glance to acknowledge her words. She stayed for a little bit, watching her walk into the building before leaving.
She worried for her girlfriend and hoped she would be okay on her own.
