We'll get her back
The party had finally settled down. Waverly, Wynonna, Nicole, Maggie, Alex, Kara and Lena all decided to just stay at Sara's place that night, mainly because the designated drivers were too drunk and the other drivers were too tired. At around 1:30am, they were woken up by a loud screaming. Kara heard it first. She jolted up, her eyes scanned the room, she heard everyone else whispering, everyone was lying in their sleeping bags, except Wynonna.
"guess, wake up. Wynonna's missing" Kara said, this made Waverly jolt up.
"What do you mean my sister's missing?" She asked, now worried.
"I mean that screaming I just heard and your sister missing can't be a coincidence" Kara whispered nervously. Waverly realized what she meant by that, and she could feel her eyes begin to water and her heart began to race. Everyone exchanged looks, gathered their items, grabbed something to protect them and headed outside to find Wynonna. They were about 3 feet away from the cabin, when a young girl stumbled out of the woods, she was breathing, barely, and bleeding. It was Wynonna.
"Oh my God, Wynonna" Waverly said, letting out a gasp, she ran over to her sister's side and grabbed onto her as Wynonna laid down.
"He..He bit me" Wynonna mustered out. Waverly ripped open the lower part of Wynonna's torn shirt and saw from the bit of light shone from Sara's cabin, a bite.
"Who bit you sweetie?" Waverly asked, her heart pounding in her ear. Wynonna tried to sit up, but she couldn't, "no, don't get up" Waverly ordered.
"Champ.." Wynonna said, before her eyes shut.
"Wynonna?" Waverly asked, "no, no , open your eyes, Wynonna" her voice began to shake. "Wynonna, Open your eyes! Please, you're all I have left, please" Waverly sobbed into her sister's chest. Alex realized that Wynonna was bitten by a Drigger, a certain kind of alien, she just was shocked to learn it was Champ Hardy. She didn't call 911, but she called another person who she knew could help her. She walked over to Waverly.
"She's going to be okay, Waverly. But I need your help to bring her inside Sara's cabin. Can you do that for me?" She whispered. Waverly nodded, she didn't want Wynonna to die, she couldn't lose risking her sister, who was basically her only family left. Their mother left one night, leaving them all alone, and their father, sister and brother wanted nothing to do with them. As far as Ward Earp, is, or was, concerned, Wynonna and Waverly Earp didn't exist and never even existed. In Riverbanks, if you're 17 years of age or older, as long as you can find a way to pay your bills (Wynonna has a job, so does Waverly) you can live on your own.
Waverly and Alex worked together to bring Wynonna into Sara's cabin. Once everyone was inside, Alex began instructing them on what to do.
"Nicole I need you to go get a cloth and some clean water" Alex instructed, "Kara and Lena, go find some bandages." she said. "Waverly, you stay here with your sister, okay?" she said in a soft voice, "hold this towel over the bleeding" She instructed, "and I'll be right back, okay?" she told her.
"o..okay" Waverly said, her voice shaky from crying. She stroked Wynonna's hair and kissed her forehead. Everyone came back and they cleaned the wound and bandaged it up. A knock came on the door.
"That must be them" Alex told her friends, she peeked out the window to see men in red. "Shit, it's not them, everybody hide" She said, she picked up Wynonna and they ran to hide as the men in red kicked the door down.
"Find them" The main man in charge ordered. The rest of the men in red began to search the house. They found Alex, Waverly and Wynonna hiding behind an old couch.
"Give us the heir" he demanded, pointing a gun at Alex, "or red head dies" he growled.
"My sister isn't the heir. Our brother Whitlock Earp is" Waverly told them, she held onto her sister, fearing this wasn't enough. The man smirked.
"Very well.." he said, the gun went off, shooting Alex in the leg and she let out a scream and fell to the ground.
"NO!" Kara yelled, she ran out of hiding and to her sister, she used her freeze breath to send the men away. They flew into an old box frame.
"Get them all" the main man in charge, ordered again. The men grabbed everybody in hiding and threw them into the back of their vans, hands tied with bags over their heads.
The young teenagers feel themselves dragged into a room, it felt hot, and smelt like acid. Their bags were removed from their heads and they saw they were in a room with a glass window, right above a pool of what looked to be some kind of deadly acidic substance.
"wh..where's my sister? what did you do to her?" Waverly asked, tears streaming down your face. His men dragged her sister over, she was bound to a chair too
"hush child, your sister is fine," said a man in red, "I apologize but believe we haven't been properly introduced. My name is Jack" he introduced, "they call me jack of knives" he told everyone. "now give me the heir and you won't die" he spat out in a low, evil, raspy voice.
"don't touch my sister!" Waverly argued. "let us go, please, we're only kids." she begged.
"yeah, we're just your typical sixteen and seventeen year old idiots" Alex told them. She was bleeding fast.
"Alex. you're bleeding" Kara said in a shaky voice, "let us go! one of your men shot my sister, if we don't get her medical help, she could die" Kara yelled. She was angry and scared, tears streaming down her face. Jack smirked.
"Only one will die tonight. And that's whoever doesn't give up the heir" Jack said.
"My sister isn't the heir!" Waverly yelled, "our brother Whitlock Earp, is the heir and he lives with our father in purgatory" she argued.
"ah yes, young Whitlock got banned from being the Earp after the murder of that family two months ago, and your sister Willa has no solid interest in being the heir. leaving it to be your sister, Wynonna" Jack spoke.
"Just let us go!" Waverly yelled. Jack growled.
"Perhaps you'll listen more if we take something of yours that's special" he threatened, his men grabbed Lena and Nicole, tossing them to the ground. "give us the heir or they die," he said, pointing a gun at them.
"nobody is dying" Wynonna said, Waverly gasped when she saw her sister was awake, "take me, and let them go, please, my friend, Alex, she's losing too much blood" Wynonna said, pointing to Alex, who was bleeding out faster. It'd only been about 10 minutes since she was shot. "please, Jack" she said softly.
"Very well" Jack smirked, aware he had won. "untie them, leave the Earp" he said, his men went over and untied the rest of the girls from their chairs.
"What are you doing Wynonna?" Waverly asked, tears falling down her face, "Please don't make us leave" she begged.
"Go, baby girl, go" Wynonna told her.
"NO!" Waverly argued, sobbing louder, "I am not leaving you! you're my only family left" she cried. Kara ran over to her.
"We'll come back for her, okay? I promise. We just need to get Alex to the hospital" she whispered.
"Wynonna, please" Waverly begged. Jack's men grabbed onto Wynonna and began taking her to the backroom.
"GO!" Wynonna yelled, "Run" was the last thing she was able to say before she was finally dragged.
The rest of them left, Waverly was sobbing. Kara was too weak to get them to the hospital, so they called 911, and the ambulance came and took them all. Alex was rushed into the hospital and into surgery.
"What about my sister?" Waverly asked, "She's all I have left" She sobbed into Nicole's chest. Nicole wrapped her arms around her.
"We'll get her back, baby, I promise," she said softly.
"I know who Alex called" Kara said, "It's an organization called anti del-valcanry, my birth father started it, they protect aliens and others alike. Similar to the D.E.O, but not exactly" Kara explained. She walked over to Waverly, "we'll get her back" she told her.
