Episode 6
"Well students, I assume you or some of you know what happened yesterday, 2 of our students were brutally murdered last night, if you know anything about this please let one of the school staff know or just take it to the police, the counselor's office is open today for interviews With the police, each student will be called in turn for an interview. Have a nice day please go back to your classes" Principal Yaga who happened to be Panda's father announced and got off the stage of the auditorium thus releasing the students to their classes
"It's so embarrassing, did you see how he looked at me? Everyone probably thinks I'm a teacher's pet" Panda spoke in a stressed voice
"Calm down and what does this have to do with a teachers pet?" Yuta spoke
"Also I don't think anyone cares you're really cool and popular" Yuji continued
"Well we have to go to our classes, so let's meet at lunch break in the dining hall" Yuta spoke
"Okay" Megumi spoke in a whisper
They all scattered to their classes, Yuji for chemistry, Megumi for math, and Yuta Panda and Toga luckily got a class together.
Megumi walked down the school corridor and stopped by a wall in front of his classroom.
There were pictures of class rotations from previous years. He could see there the young 16-year-old Gojo laughing like Megumi didn't know he could laugh, Gojo always laughs but in recent years it was more of a coping mechanism than real laughter. He also saw Shoko Iri as Gojo's best friend and perhaps the only one who could tolerate him.
But he saw another boy next to the two, he had long black hair and he gathered it in a ponytail. Once again why does this person seem really familiar to him?
"Sukune Ryoman please go to the principal's office for an interview" he saw one of the teachers say to the pink-haired boy who was sitting with his friends on the floor in the hallway.
Oh, they've already started the interviews, Megumi thinks to himself, he just hopes that Sukune won't fight with the principal again about the first day of school.
He entered his classroom and saw that only some of the students had entered the lesson
"Megumi Foshiguro you are late" his teacher calls aloud
"S...sorry" Megumi stuttered
"It's fine anyway, I see that some of the students take advantage of this situation and don't go to class" The teacher sighed and went back to teaching the class
Megumi sat down in his seat and took out his textbooks and his notebook and before he could look at the board the same teacher who called Sukina entered the class
"Megumi Foshiguru please to the principal's office"
what? Is he already? Don't they start with students in higher grades?
He saw that all the students were looking at him and Magumi felt really stressed
The teacher looked at him and told him to go to the principal's office quickly and return to class
Megumi left the classroom and the feeling of déjà vu returned to him.
Nanami:
Seriously the only thing Nanami needs now is to interview a bunch of teenagers in order to maybe find the killer.
They didn't find any fingerprints at the crime scene, and the killer barely left any evidence of his presence, Nanami had to admit the killer was smart.
Why couldn't he choose an easier job like a teacher? Why work in the police?
The first student to come for the interview was Sukune Ryoman, obviously, this brat would be the first to be interviewed
"Well what's up Mr. Nanami I see you're the interviewer?" The pink-haired boy spoke with a teasing smile
"Sukune let's not do that again, I don't want to arrest you again" the blond-haired man sighed, Sukone Ryuuman was definitely a thorn in the ass of their town's police
"Where were you yesterday at 20:00-23:00?"
"at home"
"And what did you do at home?"
"I put music on full volume, you can check my neighbors yelled at me to stop it" the boy started giggling to himself, Nanami realizes that this is definitely similar to
Gojo's report
"Do you like to hunt?"
"Oh no, but I do know, my grandfather taught me and my brother"
"Do you know anything about what happened yesterday? Like a suspicious person?"
"not really no"
"Thanks, that will be all"
Sukuna just looked at him like he said the strangest thing in the world and just left
"Nanami are you getting tired of one student already?" Yo Hibra, the school's counselor and also his closest friend since high school, spoke
"Please don't start this either" Nanami sighed
"Who is next?"
Yo Hibra looks at the list and a sad face catches him
"Megumi Fushiguru" Yu Hibra did not leave the list
"Megumi Fushiguru? Wasn't that Tsumiki Fushiguru's brother? Also Gojo Satoru's adopted son?"
"Yes...say is it true that you didn't find enough evidence for Tsumiki's murder and you had to release the suspects?" Yu Hibra asked looking Nanami in the eyes
"How do you know? We didn't really declare it in public"
"We are a small town, there are a lot of rumors here"
Nanami smiled and listened to his friend's voice, but forgot that he was supposed to continue interviewing more students
"Okay bring the teenage boy"
The boy entered, and Nanami remembered him in the event of Tsumiki Fushiguru's murder, the biggest crime in their town in 10 years, that is until now. He didn't know the boy personally but Gojo mentions him at the station all the time
"Come on Megumi, sit down, and just answer us a few questions" Yu Hibra spoke
Nanami decided that was his cue to speak
"Where were you yesterday at 20:00-23:00?"
"I was at my house" the boy spoke without hesitation
"And what did you do in your house?" Nanami thought it was a bit useless to interview Megumi since Gojo is his alibi but before the rules, he has to interview everyone without exception
"I don't know, just watching TV I guess" Magumi looked tired
Nanami remembers that later Gojo came up to him and whined to him about how he caught his son and his boyfriend alone at home, seriously this man needs a social life because he really doesn't get paid enough for it.
"Did you see anything suspicious or anyone?"
"Not really, I didn't leave my house that night"
"I heard there was a party yesterday afternoon and witnesses told me they saw you and your friends along with Momo and Mai who were murdered, can you tell me if you know of anyone who wanted to hurt them?"
"We just left the party early so I didn't really see anything" the boy spoke
"Well that will be enough, for now, you can go back to your class" Nanami sighed
Megumi got up from the chair but before leaving he turned around and asked
"Have you found any more lines of inquiry in my sister's file?" the boy asked sadly
"I'm sorry but we will be found, Gojo will tell you" Nanami spoke
, and knowing it was a complete lie, their sheriff thought that Gojo was ineligible for the case of Tsumiki Foshiguro's murder because he was her adoptive father, but despite Nanami's spirit Gojo always asks him for progress on the case. Nanami knew Gojo shouldn't bother with this and it wasn't good for his mental health but he had no choice
When the boy left the room Nanami returned to his chair and sighed.
This day was definitely not his day
