Chapter 3
"This blood doesn't even look real" Megumi said disdainfully while taking some popcorn from the bowl on the table
"I don't know, it's supposed to be a movie about a clown so I don't think they have much budget for fake blood" Yuji said with a smile
"The movie is almost over, do you want to see the second part?" Megumi asked his boyfriend
Before Yuji Itudori could answer, a police car belonging to Megumi's father Gojo Satoru appeared in the courtyard.
"Shit shit if he sees you he'll really kill me"
"Calm down, he'll probably just get a little angry" Yuji said with a teasing smile
"You need to get out of here now"
"Calm down I'm going now" Yuji whispered to his scared boyfriend.
But before he could go Gojo Satoru arrived at the house and just saw his son in the stressed together with his boyfriend looking at him in horror
"Gojo I can explain" Megumi tried to say
"Sorry Mr. Gojo it's my fault I came as a surprise to Megumi and we didn't do anything we just watched a movie" Yuuji said trying to take the spotlight off his friend
Gojo looks around and sees the TV still on and playing the movie
"No...it's ok kids it's just that I have something to tell you" Gojo led the two young boys to the couch and took off his police hat
"Magomi I'm so sorry but Mai Zenin your cousin was murdered"
"What? But only today is with her twin and with her at the party" Megumi said
He wasn't as close to May as he was to Maki but it's still sad to lose someone he's known since he was a baby
"Not only that, Momo was also found at the same scene with stab wounds and the paramedics had to pronounce her dead" Gojo said sadly
"Is Maki okay?" Yuuji blurted out unintentionally, he knew that their best friend Nobara would literally kill someone if her girlfriend died
"Yes, she is now being questioned, in light of the fact that she is supposed to be at home at such a time, but it turns out that she was at Nobara Kogusaki's house and now Nobara's mother is talking to the police on her behalf"
"Now it really annoys me to ask this but anyway they will ask it tomorrow at school, I know Megumi was at home all this time but where were you around 10pm today" Gojo asked with a tired face
"He was with me, we saw a movie like we told you," Magumi burst out in defense of his boyfriend
"And why do you show up at my house at night?" Gojo asked suspiciously
"Sukuna my big brother keeps putting songs on full volume and I'm really fed up"
"Was Sukuna home around 10?"
"Unfortunately yes, he hasn't stopped it since 9pm" Yuji said nervously
"Well now I think you should go home, it's getting late" Gojo said
Yuji looked at the clock on the TV which showed 23:50
"Let me accompany you to your house" Gojo said
Itudori who understood his boyfriend's father's anger and spoke quickly
"No I'm fine my house is only a few blocks away"
"I insist now, it's really dangerous here at night, especially since there's a murderer walking around freely in the city"

Yuji knows it's a death sentence to go along with your boyfriend's overprotective father especially since you shouldn't have been alone
They got into Gojo's car and Yuji looked at the entrance door and saw Megumi smiling and waving at him, Yuji waved back

"Did you know the victims?"
"I knew Mai because a friend of ours is dating her twin sister and not to mention she's Megumi's cousin, and Momo I just know she's in the same class along with my friends Yuta and Toga" Yuuji said while trying not to look at the policeman
"Can you tell me if you saw anyone suspicious who might have intentions of harming someone?" Gojo decided to break the silence
"No, right after the party I fell asleep and woke up 3 hours after that and went to Megumi" Yuji tried to keep it cool
They arrived at Yuji's house
Yuji got out of the car and saw his older brother looking at him with a "what the hell did you do?" look. Before he entered his house Gojo spoke
"If you ever break his heart I promise you I will take revenge" Gojo said and gave a menacing smile and just left Yuji there in shock.
"Seriously this old man scares me" Yuji muttered to himself
"What the hell did you do?" his older brother asked
"Nothing, I just went to visit Megumi, but forget about it, you'll never guess what happened today"

Gojo House
"Megumi next time you invite your boyfriend home please don't be in the room alone" Gojo finally spoke after he returned to the house
"Relax, we didn't do anything, we just watched a movie" Megumi of course did not mention what happened in his room.
"Well, you're grounded, right after school you're home"
"What!!!! Just because Yuji was here are you grounding me?" Megumi defends himself to his father
"No, because a murderer is roaming freely in our town and we don't know who it is and there is no evidence for now" Gojo canceled what his son complained to him
"And the sheriff and the mayor are also thinking about making a curfew tomorrow from 4:00 p.m."
"I'm not a little boy I don't need you to protect me all the time I'm fine"

Megumi walked out of the living room quickly and slammed his door.
"When you grow up you'll understand" Gojo yelled back

Yuji: Well, what was the sentence?
Megumi: He grounded me
Megumi is on the phone with Yuuji
Yuji: Could be worse
Megumi: Please don't laugh about it
Yuji: I'm not kidding besides he just wants you to be protected
Megumi: I know but after Tsumiki he became too protective
Yuji: I know but give it a chance
Yuji: Are you okay? I mean May I know you and her weren't really close but you've known each other your whole life
Megumi: I'm fine but I'm really worried about Maki, I tried to call her but she didn't answer and I left several messages but still no response
Yuji: I called Nobara and she said that Maki is not taking it well and that she is really angry, she will stay at Nobara's house for a few days because their parents are on a business trip and their house is literally a crime scene
Megumi: Poor Maki
Yuji: Well, tomorrow is a school day, good night
Megumi: Good night
