Paper Flower [Bbangsaz]

"Minji we need 4 more flower bouquets immediately" Danielle panics.

She was supposed to buy 20 flower bouquets but accidentally bought 16 of them. But to organize this surprise birthday party for Haerin she nerds exactly 20 of them. And she doesn't have enough time to go and buy because she has to organize lighting too.

"Minji? Minji, are you even hearing me?" Danielle shouts.

Minji is busy with her papers and has her headphones on. She tears another page from her notebook then starts folding it in a different way. Then she takes the scissor and starts cutting it to put it in a shape. After a while she rolls another page and then adds it to the back of the shape, making it the stick. She holds the stick and raises it to Danielle,smiling widely.

"Look, a rose" Minji says.

Danielle doesn't know if she should just sigh,laugh,facepalm herself or just smack the heck out of Minji. She is in big trouble but Minji is busy showing that useless paper rose.

"I freaking told you to go buy 4 more flower bouquets. I didn't want to see your paper flower" Danielle sighs.

"I can make you 4 flower bouquets with paper flowers" Minji puts off her headphones and says.

"I don't want your useless paper flowers. Go to the store and buy real flowers" Danielle says in a serious tone.

"Paper flowers aren't useless. They look more aesthetic" Minji defends.

"I don't want that. Go to the fucking store and buy real flowers" Danielle shouts.

"Can't you just tell Hyein to do it. I feel tired" Minji stretches her arms.

"It's freaking 10:30 pm. I am not letting that kid go out at this hour. Plus she is handling the food" Danielle replies.

"But...." Minji tries to come up with another excuse.

"No buts Minji. Get up your lazy ass and go to the store right now" Danielle yells.

"Okay fine fine" Minji sighs and gets up.

Minji gets inside of her car and starts the engine. She has 0 interest in going to any flower shop. For some weird reason she never likes real flowers. She doesn't have any allergies or anything. She just doesn't like them. Just a single sight of flowers makes her frown in a very annoying way. This is why she learnt making paper flowers at the age of 8. She finds them very aesthetic. Plus they don't get rotten. Which is a plus point. But her friends think that paper flowers are very much useless. She can't just make them understand that paper flowers are better than real flowers.

It took her 20 minutes to reach the shop. She can tell that it's near closing time because there are no customers around the store. And there aren't many flowers to be seen. She panics a bit because what if there are no more flower bouquets left. Danielle is surely gonna beat her ass up. Even though it wasn't her fault. She hurriedly comes out from the car and runs towards the store. She stops right in front of the store and starts panting. The store is medium sized but always full of flowers. But since it's closing time the store is almost empty. She tiptoes and moves her head to the left and right side to see if anyone is inside. She can see a girl who's back is facing her. She can tell that the girl is busy doing something.

"Umm excuse me" Minji says. The girl flinches a bit and turns around to Minji.

Minji gets taken aback by the sight of the girl. Honestly she was expecting a middle aged lady to be the owner or something. But this girl here looks the same age as her. Or probably even younger. The girl draws a wide smile when she sees Minji and steps forward.

"Yes? What flower can I get for you? " She asks, keeping a smile.

Minji was so busy staring at the shorter girl's smile that she didn't even listen to what she asked. She is just too focused on the other girl's smile. The smile looks so bright and sweet. It can literally melt anyone in a second. It feels like if this girl smiles out of nowhere the petals can start falling from the sky too. That much pretty smile this person has.

"Hello?" she calls out, keeping a smile which makes Minji come back to reality.

"Umm yea sorry. I was just thinking for a bit" Minji lets out an awkward smile.

"It's fine. Have you made up your mind yet?"

"Can you make me 4 bouquets of flowers? Doesn't matter what flower it is because I Don't really know the name of the flowers" Minji replies.

"Hmmm. Let me see if we have enough flowers for that" The other girl hums and gets inside.

Minji stands outside and waits. She is only wearing a denim jacket and jeans but it's so cold outside. The cold breeze is hitting her body so sharply. The flower shop girl notices it.

"Come inside and take a seat. We have a heater here" She says.

"Ohh thank you so much" Minji immediately goes inside and takes a chair to sit.

Minji puts left arm on the counter and leans her head there while watching the flower shop girl making bouquets. Soon her gaze averted from the bouquet to the girl. Minji takes a proper look at the girl who is busy selecting flowers. She is a bit shorter than Hearin. And she has bangs which she slided to the right side revealing her forehead. Minji notices how different she looks with and without bangs. With bangs she was looking like a kid almost. But without bangs she is looking like a fine gorgeous lady. Minji shakes her head and rubs her eyes. She slaps herself lightly. Why would she even think such a thing about a random flower shop girl she met some minutes ago. She didn't know she was a pervert or a flirt. Or whatever it is called for thinking like that about a woman.

"Umm" The other girl looks around at Minji sadly.

"I made 3 bouquets and don't have any more flowers left to make the 4th one. You know that it's the closing time that's why we are in trouble now" She adds.

"Ahh damn. Now I will get scolded a lot" Minji says and scratches her nape.

The girl crosses her arms and leans her back on the counter,thinking something. She walks to the small room which Minji assumes is a store room. After 5 minutes she comes out with a bouquet and places it with the 3 other bouquets.

"Here you go" She hands the bouquets to Minji.

"How did you manage to get the 4th one?" Minji asks.

"I made that a while ago for my cousin's birthday which is in an hour. But since you need it that's why I just gave you this one" She replies, smiling.

"What about your cousin's birthday then?" Minji asks again.

"I will just make another one for her tomorrow. It's not that much of a big deal. Don't worry" She replies.

"Alright then. Here's my credit card" Minji hands her the card to pay.

"Thank you for buying from us. Hope to see you around soon" She says after she is done with the credit card and gives it back to Minji.

"You are most welcome" Minji replies, smiling.

Minji puts the flower bouquets on the backseat of the car and then gets inside taking the driver's seat. She starts the engine and takes one last glance to the store. The flower shop girl is now switching off the lights,probably closing the store. She smiles a bit looking at the figure inside.

"You will surely see me around soon. But not to buy flowers. To watch me staring at you" Minji smiles and then pulls over leaving the place.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAERINNNN"

All three girls sequels as soon as Hearin opens the door and steps inside. Minji blasts the party popper while Hyein throws some petals on Haerin and Danielle keeps saying happy birthday to her.

"Oh my god. Thank you so much guys" Haerin excitedly says.

"We planned for 3 weeks to surprise you" Danielle says and hugs Haerin.

"We worked so hard for it" Minji says.

"That's wrong. Minji was busy making her paper flowers. Me and Dani worked hard" Hyein says, which causes Minji to glare at the younger girl. Danielle and Haerin laugh at the sight.

"Did you like it?" Danielle asks.

"Obviously. I loveeeddd it" Haerin replies.

"Thank god. Hope you were surprised though" Minji says.

"Well honestly, I am not. Because Hyein told me about it last night" Haerin chuckles.

"HYEIIINNNNNN" both Minji and Danielle yell.

"You guys I am sorry I was just too excited" Hyein pouts and hides behind Haerin.

"It's okay guys. Don't scold Hyein. I love this so much actually. Thank you so much" Haerin says while patting Hyein. 

"Aww we are glad" Minji and Danielle hug Haerin and Hyein is still hiding behind Haerin.

"By the way guys, I told one of my cousins to come here. Is it okay?" Haerin asks.

"Yeah sure it's fine. We will love to get introduced to her" Danielle lightly claps her hands.

"Which cousin is this?" Hyein asks.

"Umm you know my aunt who got married to a Vietnamese guy? She is the daughter of her" Haerin says.

"Didn't that aunt of yours later move to Australia with her family?" Minji asks.

"Yeah and that's where my cousin was born" Haerin replies.

"Oh my god does that mean she is also an Australian like me? We can get along then" Danielle excitedly jumps and Haerin just nods while giggling to see the older one's excitement.

"Hi?" a sudden small voice from the front door takes all of their attention.

"Oh there she is. Hanniiii" Haerin runs to the person and hugs her.

Minji looks at the girls who are hugging each other in front of the door. She takes a look at the other girl and her eyes widen. She gasps to see that it's the same girl earlier from the flower shop. She is that flower shop girl.

"Happy birthday Haerin. Sorry I couldn't bring you the bouquet you wanted. A customer needed that emergency so I had to give that to them since we were out of the flowers to make them a new one" the girl sadly says.

"It's fine. Just make me one in the morning" Haerin says and the other girl just nods while smiling.

"Anyway guys this is my cousin, Hanni Pham,Pham Hanni or whatever just call her Hanni" Haerin says which makes Hanni wheeze.

"Haii Hanni. I am Danielle. Call me Dani. And I am also half australian" Dani says while smiling ear to ear.

"Wait really? Wow we can literally become bffs then" Hanni shakes her hand with Dani.

"I am Hyein, the youngest one in this friend group." Hyein says and hugs Hanni.

"Nice to meet you Hyein" Hanni hugs her back and smiles at the younger one's cuteness.

"Hi, I am Kim Minji" Minji steps ahead and says calmly. Hanni looks at Minji and her eyes spark suddenly. She escapes from Hyein's hug and takes a step to Minji.

"You, aren't you the same person who was at our store earlier?" Hanni asks.

"Yeah I was the one" Minji nods which makes Hanni smile more.

"Oh wow I didn't know I would meet you again. I remember you for your denim jacket" Hanni points at Minji's jacket.

"My jacket? Is it pretty?" Minji excitedly asks. '

"Nope. It's ugly and I hate denim jackets" Hanni says while laughing which causes everyone else to laugh too except Minji who makes a frown face and starts sulking.

"I am sorry. I didn't mean it. I just don't like denim jackets that's why I remember you" Hanni apologizes while wheezing.

"Let's go inside" Haerin says.

"Yeah let's gooo" Hyein excitedly says and runs inside which makes everyone else chuckle.

Haerin starts unwrapping everyone's gifts and opens the letter to read them. Dani and Hyein are sitting beside her and it seems like they are more excited than Haerin herself. Everytime she unwrapped a gift, the other two girls screamed in excitement. Minji and Hanni are sitting on the couch and watching the girls having fun. It's hard for Minji to not take some glances at the girl beside her who is watching the younger ones putting on a pretty and beautiful smile. Everytime she glances at Hanni it makes her want to take more glances of her. Hanni had a bun back at the store but now her hair is untied. She has beautiful long hair with bangs. She wonders how gorgeous Hanni will look with long and bangless hair. Probably gorgeous enough to make Minji faint. Hanni's eye smile is so pretty. Her stare moves from Hanni's eyes to her plump lips. She wonders how soft those lips might be. "Oh my god what the fuck am I even thinking" Minji smacks herself and whines in pain cause she accidentally did it hard which causes Hanni to turn at her.

"Anything wrong?" Hanni asks.

"No no no it's fine" Minji awkwardly laughs while rubbing the place she hit herself.

"So....how old are you?" Minji tries to break the awkwardness.

"19. How about you?" Hanni turns to Minji.

"I am 19 too" Minji smiles.

"Wow, we are the same age. I thought you were probably 1-2 years older than me" Hanni replies.

"Why? Do I look old?" Minji frowns.

"Kinda" Hanni chuckles which makes Minji frown more from being annoyed.

"I was just joking. You just look more mature than me" Hanni says, still wheezing.

"Hanni, even though Minji looks mature she is the most immature one among us" Haerin suddenly shouts.

"Why are you even overhearing our conversation?" Minji shouts back,which makes Hanni laugh.

"Sorry. We are going on the rooftop to serve the food. I will cut the cake there" Haerin says.

"Just call me after organizing everything. It's cold on the rooftop. I will just go to eat the food" Minji wheezes.

"You lazy ass. Hanni, what about you?" Dani asks.

"Call me too after arranging everything. I am sensitive to the cold so I will stay inside for a while" Hanni gives a sweet smile.

"Alright then" Dani replies and walks away with the 2 other girls.

"Anyway, are you the owner of that shop?" Minji asks.

"No, it's my mom's shop. I sometimes help her plus I love flowers, which makes me want to stay there" Hanni replies.

"Ahhh got it" Minji says.

Hanni focuses on Minji's hands which are busy doing something with paper. She notices how Minji easily made a flower with the paper on her hands in a minute.

"Do you like origami?" Hanni asks.

"Hmm? Oh no not really. I just like making paper flowers" Minji replies.

"It looks so pretty" Hanni smiles while staring at the paper flower.

"You can keep it" Minji extends her hand which is holding a paper rose to Hanni.

"Is this a confession?" Hanni wheezes.

"Wha- no no no" Minji quickly tries to defend herself.

"It's fine I am pretty anyway. So I understand if you want to date me even though we met an hour ago. Probably love at first sight" Hanni wiggles her brows.

Minji becomes speechless by the other girl's confidence. Well yes she is pretty there is no lie there. Probably a lot of people fell for her at first glance and that's why it must be very normal for her if anyone confesses to her right after meeting her. Hanni stares at Minji's speechless and confused face for a while then bursts into laughter.

"You look like a confused bear right now" Hanni tries to say while laughing too much.

"I was kidding again miss ma'am" Hanni playfully rubs the paper rose on Minji's nose.

"You do like to joke around a lot" Minji sighs.

"Right. By the way this rose really looks so pretty" Hanni stares at the rose again. "But it doesn't have fragrance" Hanni sniffs the rose.

"Still better than real flowers. It will not get rotten" Minji leans back on the couch.

"But not pretty enough like a real flower" Hanni stares at Minji.

"Okay then you don't have to keep it" Minji extends her arm and holds the flower which is held by Hanni.

Minji tries to pull the flower but since she is leaning against the couch she couldn't get full control. Hanni takes this chance and pulls the flower harder than Minji. It causes Minji to get pulled by Hanni and she literally falls on the top of Hanni from her place. Hanni couldn't handle her balance which makes her fall down on the couch having Minji on her top. Minji raises her head and stares at Hanni's which is staring back at hers. Minji gulps at this sudden atmosphere. But somehow she doesn't want to get up from this position. She is liking to stay like this while staring at Hanni who is under her. Hanni places her hands on Minji's shoulders while having a light smile on her lips. Minji's stare moves from Hanni's eyes to her plump lips. Minji starts wondering again how soft her lips can be. She can feel Hanni's hands are gently rubbing her shoulders. Soon after Minji starts moving forward to Hanni's lips without even knowing.

"We just met a while ago. Do you already want to make out without knowing me properly?" Hanni softly asks while smiling and puts her right hand's thumb on Minji's bottom lips and keeps the other hand on Minji's right shoulder.

"We can get to know each other after making out too" Minji calmly replies and even gets surprised by her own bold reply.

"What if I am taken?"

"Well, are you?"

"No" "Then there's no problem"

"There is a problem"

"What is it?"

"You wear denim jackets"

"And it doesn't have any connection with make out"

"Why do you want to kiss me even"

"I just want to see if your lips are as soft as I am thinking they are" Minji leans more to Hanni's lips.

"You are both curious and desperate" Hanni wheezes lightly while rubbing her thumb on Minji's bottom lips.

"Are you hating it?" Minji looks at Hanni's eyes.

"When did I say that?" Hanni smiles and wraps her arms around Minji's neck,pulling her closer.

"Then let me just do it" Minji says.

Minji gets so close to Hanni's face that they can feel each other's breath on their faces. Hanni puts her one hand on Minji's head and starts running her fingers through her hair while lightly massaging the back of her head. Both of their heart beats start racing rapidly and they can both feel it. The warm breath from Hanni is hitting Minji's nose which is making her more desperate. Hanni closes her eyes and slightly parts her lips making Minji go crazy because theur lips are literally slightly brushing against each other. Minji wastes no more time and leans down, closing the distance between their faces. Minji captures Hanni's bottom lips and starts kissing it desperately. Hanni keeps moving her fingers through Minji's hair while kissing her back. She can feel that Minji wants it passionately as she nibbles her bottom lips wanting the access. Hanni parts away her lips to let Minji get the access which Minji immediately takes as she slips her tongue to explore Hanni's mouth. She gently rubs Hanni's waist while rubbing her tongue with Hanni's.

Hanni can tell that she is out of breath but it doesn't seem like Minji is nowhere near pulling off. She keeps deepening the kiss making it more passionate. She thought Minji only wants a small kiss but she took the make out part which Hanni mentioned too seriously and now she is totally into it. It's not like she is hating it anyway even though she met Minji just an hour ago. It is weird to making out with a stranger and liking it. But she can't help it somehow and just follows Minji's lead. She just tries to breathe faintly beneath Minji's nose which makes Minji to deepen the kiss more.

"Minji, Hanni we have arranged the food- OH MY GOODNESS..."

Hanni immediately pushes Minji away from the top of her,breaking the kiss which causes Minji to fall on the other side of the couch and hit her head lightly.

"Ouch" Minji yelps in pain.

"Minji why are you making out with my cousin? You met her LITERALLY A WHILE AGO" Haerin yells while her eyes are closed because she doesn't want to watch her friend making out with her cousin.

"Ugh wait it's not totally my fault" Minji tries to defend herself while getting up and rubbing the back of her head.

"Hanni how can you get seduced by Minji that easily even, she is dumb looking" Haerin finally opens her eyes and glares at Hanni.

"Well...umm" Hanni scratches her nape,failing to come up with any excuse.

"Ugh whatever I am done with both of you. Do whatever you want but just don't make out on my couch, I bought it last week. And come to the rooftop" Haerin says and stomps away.

Minji awkwardly sits back on the couch beside Hanni having a distance while still rubbing her head. Hanni puts her hand over her mouth to not laugh at this situation.

"You are a good kisser" Hanni breaks the silence.

"Ugh stop saying embarrassing things" Minji says, being annoyed as she can feel her cheeks getting warm.

"Acting like you weren't literally eating my face a while ago and weren't even letting me pull out to take a breath" Hanni smirks.

"Ugh whatever. Let's go to the rooftop" Minji awkwardly says and gets up.

Hanni laughs lightly and gets up, following Minji. After getting up she notices the paper rose on the couch. She bends down and picks it up and takes a step towards Minji, getting close to her.

"Kim Minji, thank you for this paper flower. Also the kiss. I hope you enjoyed it because I did it, a lot" Hanni whispers near Minji's ears and brushes the paper flower against Minji's lips lightly.

"Lets go" Hanni smiles and walks away leaving a blushing mess Minji speechless.

"I did enjoy it. And your lips are softer than I thought" Minji mumbles before walking away.
