Chapter 1
You hear the sound of a whisper in the distance, slowly getting louder. The cold frost of winter brushes against your face. Where are you? Opening your eyes, you start to look around, – that was before you woke up at the sound of someone calling your name.
“{K̴̢̢̡̧̛̘̣̠͎̬̙̺̤͕͓̀̾̇̏̃̔̀̓̃́̊̒̂͛̕̕͝^̴̜͙̻͓̥̜̣̇̿̍̃̔̕͜ͅȓ̴̳͔̖͕͔̮̮̙͔̣̲͙̎̑͗̋̐̀̎̀̋̓̕͠0̴̧̯̟̘͖͓̀́͆̌̑͑͐͠y̴̢̧̗̗͔͎̮͉̩̥̠͇̑͊̆̊̽̏͋̓͛̂̄̈̄͝}!”
You turn to where it was coming from.
”There you are! How did you get out here?”
It takes a second, but you soon recognise who they were, Faith Hollow. You tell them you don’t really know. Though, that didn’t seem to bother them. As you attempt to continue, Faith interrupts you.
“Anyways,-”
They brushed it off again.
“-let's get you home.”
They grab your hand pulling you along. When you begin to take everything in, you notice that they were leading you towards the cliff side, overviewing the town. You tried to notify them, but it was too late. They jumped, taking you with them. For a second, you thought we were falling. . That is when you realised you were gliding down to town, Cryptolight.
[ Faith’s wing feather entered your inventory!]
As they began to glide down, you wondered how you could explain this to your parents. You are surprised that they haven't tried tying you down to your bed frame yet.
“{K̴̢̢̡̧̛̘̣̠͎̬̙̺̤͕͓̀̾̇̏̃̔̀̓̃́̊̒̂͛̕̕͝^̴̜͙̻͓̥̜̣̇̿̍̃̔̕͜ͅȓ̴̳͔̖͕͔̮̮̙͔̣̲͙̎̑͗̋̐̀̎̀̋̓̕͠0̴̧̯̟̘͖͓̀́͆̌̑͑͐͠y̴̢̧̗̗͔͎̮͉̩̥̠͇̑͊̆̊̽̏͋̓͛̂̄̈̄͝}! There you are!”
Your mother, Lunar Wyvern, calls out from below. When you are close enough to the ground, she takes you from Faith.
“My Irene, honey, you gotta stop disappearing like that. It’s terrifying.”
Really? You glance over to Faith. You notice they looked unfazed.
“You should get home Faith. The both of you have school in the morning.”
“Night ma’am”
They turned towards you,
They say something in a language you don't understand.
What? As you watch as they walk away, you hear your mother say,
”What a weird… girl? Boy? Child.”
Yep, ‘they sure are weird,’ you thought as you walked away. You both returned home to find your father, Solar Wyvern, sleeping on the couch. Probably lost is energy looking for you and had to be brought back. Again. You watch them sit next to him as she starts to speaks,
“Head up to your room, I’ll make sure Xe gets to bed.”
As you are walking upstairs, you try to remember your dream…
…And as you fail to remember, a wave of sleepiness falls over you. As you drift off, a light blue light is seen. But then soon you were in the sea of dreams.

You wake up to your dad calling you for breakfast. Despite being comfortable, you reluctantly get out of bed. While getting dressed, you decide to put on the giant pale blue hoodie that Faith brought back from one of their trips as a gift for you. You also notice a pastel blue ribbon on your dresser and decide to bring it with you.
[ You put the p.b.ribbon into your inventory!].
You soon went downstairs, stopping to quickly eat breakfast and grabbing your lunch.
[ Lunch acquired]
After waving goodbye to your parents, you head to the school on the hill. As you were heading to school you decide to stop by Faith’s house, seeing as they(?) always seem to come by and wait for you.(Despite the fact they live closer to the school than you.) As you wait outside of their house, you feel like someone is standing right next to you. You fall over as you suddenly hear a familiar voice, startling you.
“ ‘ello {K̴̢̢̡̧̛̘̣̠͎̬̙̺̤͕͓̀̾̇̏̃̔̀̓̃́̊̒̂͛̕̕͝^̴̜͙̻͓̥̜̣̇̿̍̃̔̕͜ͅȓ̴̳͔̖͕͔̮̮̙͔̣̲͙̎̑͗̋̐̀̎̀̋̓̕͠0̴̧̯̟̘͖͓̀́͆̌̑͑͐͠y̴̢̧̗̗͔͎̮͉̩̥̠͇̑͊̆̊̽̏͋̓͛̂̄̈̄͝}!”
As he helps you up, his name finally crosses your mind, Hope Hollow, Faith’s older brother. As you try to regain your balance, you asked him what they are going by today.
“Hmm? Oh, He/they. Why?”
You tell him you just didn’t want to get their pronouns wrong.
”Oh, ok. Anyw-”
“Hello there.”
You both jump at the sudden appearance of Faith. You tell them hi.
“What are you guys talking about?”
You respond, saying that we were talking about you. You notice Hope checking his watch before saying,
“See ya losers later.”
You and Faith watch as he runs off, probably back to the school.
”Welp, ready to go?”
You nod your head.
As you both walk into the school, you notice your friend, Nyx Night. You call over to her.
“Oh hello there {K̴̢̢̡̧̛̘̣̠͎̬̙̺̤͕͓̀̾̇̏̃̔̀̓̃́̊̒̂͛̕̕͝^̴̜͙̻͓̥̜̣̇̿̍̃̔̕͜ͅȓ̴̳͔̖͕͔̮̮̙͔̣̲͙̎̑͗̋̐̀̎̀̋̓̕͠0̴̧̯̟̘͖͓̀́͆̌̑͑͐͠y̴̢̧̗̗͔͎̮͉̩̥̠͇̑͊̆̊̽̏͋̓͛̂̄̈̄͝}. Faith.”
You watch Nyx bow a greeting. As the three of you are talking about what we did last weekend, the bell rings. Walking into Mx. Elderberry classroom, you take your seat.
