Until Death do Us Part

"Ei, apologized."

The purple-haired girl raised her eyebrow,"why should I? They hit me first."

Ei pointed her fingers to three battered boys. While those boys just tilt their head down, didn't have the guts to face Ei.

Mr. Tougo, the teacher, shook his head quitely. "It is not the matter of who hit first, Ei. If you don't get apologized their parents will make a petition to drop you out from school."

Ei gritted her teeth. Those boys were the first one who make a fuss yet she has to apologize first? They hit her and take her bag out of no where. They tought she can't fight if there are 3 people against her? Hah. Idiot. She even had a fight with more than 20 students during her junior high. They should have listened to his senior who already taste Ei's fist.

Ei stood up,"I am not guilty. And I am not gonna apologize to them. I dont care with the petition."

'It is not like I am gonna be a success person if i graduated from this school.' Ei thought as she leave the teacher room.

"Ei, where are you going? We still need to talk! Ei! Raiden Ei!!" The teacher keep calling Ei to comeback. But the ponytail girl didn't give a fuck.

Ei walked aimlessly while thinking about what has happened to her.

Raiden Ei. A 3rd grade student in Inazuma High School. An orphan. Live alone in a small flat and a part timer internet cafe operator. 

'If i graduated- no, kicked from school. What will I do then?' Ei wonders as she kicked the empty can along the way. 

'Should I apply as full-time internet cafe operator? It is not bad actually. I can play games and-'

"Ra-raiden Ei!!"

Ei stopped walking as she heard an unfamiliar voice calling her name. She turned around and find a beautiful girl running towards her. She panting hardly then look at Ei,"Y-you are Ei, right?"

Ei blinked her eyes. Not only nick but that weird girl also know her full name. For Archon's sake She swears she never meet this girl. Is she from the same school with her? Nah, Ei never see this gorgeous girl in school.

"Yes but who-"

"There she is!"  A male shouted from a distance. The pink-haired girl quickly hide on Ei's back. 

"Wait- what are you doing?!" Ei panic as the weird girl keep grab her fabric from behind. 

A group of men who dressed up like.. a gangster? comes to them.

The man who looks like a leader sighed,"Listen ponytail girl. I just need the girl behind you, Okay? Give me the girl and you can walk away freely."

"No- no- i dont want-" The girl behind Ei keep mumbling.

But Ei step aside and grab her arms,"Okay, go on."

The weird girl look shocked, Ei can see her eyes widen, "W-wait! You can't do this to me! From what I predict you should protect me by now!"

Ei raised her eyebrow, "And why should I protect a girl that I dont know? Are you confident everybody want to protect you because you have pretty face?"

Well, actually it can be the reason tho. This weird girl is indeed pretty but still, that one reason is definetly not enough because..

"I dont like to get involved with someone's problem." Ei continued.

The weird girl bite her lower lips. Her cheeks blushed. 

Ei creased her eyebrows. This girl is blushing? Does she take her words as flirting?

"Be-because..." She tilt her head down and play with her fingers.

"In the future... you are the one that always protect me."

Ei look at her blankly. Ew, suddenly she felt cringey with this 'protecting' words thingy. 

It seems the weird girl realizing that her words is completely doesn't make sense for Ei, so she continued her talk, "And I can pay you! Not now but at least tomorrow I will hand the payment. Please, believe me!" She pleaded. 

"I see.. okay then." Ei ballad her fist. If it is involving money then it is worth it. She turned around and face a group of gangster. In her eyes they look like a bag of money that ready to be caught.

"Weird girl, I just need to protect you until these men go away, right?" 

"No."

That one word make Ei turned to the girl. 

"You will protect me.." The long-pink-haired girl stares at Ei deeply.

"Until death do us part."

Now it is Ei whose eyes got widen. She look at the weird girl disbelief.

Until death do us part? 

Did she think that Ei is her wife? Maybe not but who again a person who able to protect someone until die? Police?  Army? Among those options Ei believe she didnt have looks like that one. 

'This girl is not just weird but crazy as hell', Ei thought. 

Whereas the men start laughing after the weird girl talk about that nonsense thingy. "Hahaha guys! Lets not waste our time. Shut that girl and we gonna get Lady Yae!!"

'Oh, her name is Lady Yae?'

The fights begins. Ei put on a stance and starts hitting her opponents. They have more power, Ei admit it as they launch their punch to her. But those punchs and kicks are meaningless if they didn't able to touch Ei.

Speed is everything. And Ei has that. She easily evade their attacks and counter them with one hit punch for each people. Thanks for  her 2-months experience as acupuncture therapist , She knows well some spesific points of human body. And she use that knowledge to fight with her other opponents, hitting the point which can make them fainted instandly (and that's the reason why Ei only last 2 months as therapist) .

"They all already fainted." Ei panting as she finished with them.

She looks at all of her opponents who lying on the road then turned around to Yae,"15 minutes should be more than enough for you to get away from this people."

Ei then make a footsteps, leaving the girl.

"W-wait! I still have to pay you, right?" Yae shocked looking at Ei ready to leave her. She start rushing to the japanese girl.

"Nah. I am not interested with you. Not with your money as well. You can forget it, weird girl." Ei response nonchalantly. Think again, there must be spesific reason why these people chase Yae. Eventhough Ei can defeat them easily, she is aware that those people is not amateur. And if Ei still stay with this weird girl, she gonna face more troublesome opponents. And Ei doesn't want that. She had already enough enemies and she doesnt need to add more on her list. 

'Tap. Tap. Tap.' 

Ei continues walking. But to be honest, she is walking uncomfortably since she keeps hearing footsteps behind her. Ei stopped and massage her temple. It seems defeating the gangster is way easier than get off from this girl.

"Why you keep following me, weird girl?", Ei sighed.

Yae gasped. She already walked carefully and quitely but Ei still able to notice her which make her effort completely useless, "I-i don't follow you. I just walked and looks like we have the same direction.. coincidentally."

"And stop calling me weird girl. I have a name. Miko. Yae Miko" She added.

Ei scoffed,"Yeah yeah, whatever."

Name is not important since Ei doesn't have a plan to remember that name for a long time. She continued her footsteps, ignoring Miko who keep following her. 

Ei stopped once she reached her flat building. "This is where I lived. You are not gonna follow me from here, right?" 

Miko bite her lower lips. like a scared fox. so cute to be homest. But Ei try to remain her cold gaze.

"W-who said I am following you? Uh.. I will just stand here." Miko flips her hair, trying to be unbothered.

 "Just get in to your flat. I am not interested with you." 

'What the hell...' Now this weird girl dare to counter her words. Ei shake her head looking at Miko then continue her walks to the flat. 

"Crazy girl," Ei muttered as she lean her body on futon. She stares at the ceiling, the image of Miko flashed on her memory. 

Despite of her craziness... Ei has to admit that girl is so damn beautiful. Not mentioning her nice body as well. But then again, she is crazy. And crazy is more than enough for Ei to pushed away the young lady named Yae Miko. 

'Protect her until death do us part?' Ei snorts. Did Miko think that Ei is her lifetime bodyguard? 

Ei get up and look at the window. She take a peek to watch that weird girl who stand still in front of  the building. It is already 30 minutes since Ei leave her. 

"huh, I bet after this she will leave and find another prey." Ei mumbles.

 Nowadays there is so many tricks to deceive people. Maybe Miko try to bait her by talking about protecting thingy and at the end she gonna dig her money? Well, if it is true Miko will regret it since Ei is poor student. The high school girl pulled up her blanket and sleep.

6 hours has passed. Slowly, Ei opened her eyes. She yawned and feel refreshed after a long fight on that afternoon. Ei then remembers about the weird girl. 

"She must has gone by now, right?" Ei yawned and glanced to the window. Her eyes widened looking at something happened in front of the building.

"Come on~ Don't you feel cold?" Said the old man to Miko. It seems he is drunk, judging from his red face and his smell. 

Miko shake her head,"No.. I have to wait someone in here.. Thanks for the offer, sir."

She tried to reject it politely, but the older man keep insist her to enter his flat, "Come on~ it is already late! Who the fuck person that still haven't pick you up until this hour? He must be asleep right now and he doesnt deserve you. Come just follow me" The old man grabbed Miko's hand. Making the later almost screamed when a strong grip comes to the old man's arm. 

"Argh! How dare you-"  The old man turned around and freezed , realizing it was Ei's hand who gripped his arm tightly. 

"Take off your filty hand." She said with a death glare.

"...Tsk. Alright alright" He let go Miko and walks off from them. Not only at school, but Ei's infamous behaviour already known among flat residents. No one dares to have a trouble with her.

Ei look at Miko. The older girl quickly crossed her arms and flips her hair, "What? I am here not because of you.. remember?! You reject me, there is no way I will-"

"Come inside." 

 "W-what?" Miko blinked her eyes a few times.

Ei sighed. She grabbed her hand softly, "Come inside. You still have to pay me right? Sleep here and tomorrow pay me for guarding you and let you take a rest on my flat."

Miko grins widely,"Sure! Sure! I am gonna pay. Just watch it ~" 

Both of them walked to Ei's flat. The host tried to maintain her cold face but she smiled secretly.

This girl is weird and adorable at the same time.

Bonus: Miko's 1st POV

Hello, I am Yae Miko. And right now I am running as fast as I can to find my future couple named Raiden Ei. 

Huh? Are you wondering how would I know about my future wife? It simply because I can foresee the future. You don't believe me? Fine, the people who chasing me is the proof that many people want my ability.

Uh, oh! There she was! A purple-haired girl. With violet eyes. Wears school uniform and busy kicking her empty can..

Wait, her lips is curled down. Does something bothers her? 

Miko smiled.

Whatever is that you should not be worried anymore, Ei. Because you have me.

And you will have me... until death do us part. 

"Ra-raiden Ei!" I called her loudly then rushed to Ei.

She looks shocked which is understandable but don't worry! She gonna falling in love with me in seconds.

Ah, I can't wait to know more about my future wife!
