Day One
Today was the day Luyas (pronounced Lucas) entered the newly made cafe. He wondered what it would be like, mostly cause they have been waiting for its opening day. The last cafe had closed down due the owners moving away. So when Luyas found out that a new cafe was opening, they was overjoyed. He took a seat near the window, in awe of the little garden growing outside. Despite the cafe opening just a mere few minutes ago, the flowers outside were in full bloom.
In a few minutes, one of the staff came from the back and greeted them.
"Hello, you can call me Alo, they/zir."
"I'm -"
"Nickname please."
"Uhhhh, Lu, He/they"
With a smile, Alo took Lu's order. As Alo walked off, Lu noticed that someone was at the front. The one operating the front seemed to be working on some papers. Without looking up from their papers, they walked over to Lu. Setting the papers down, the stranger spoke.
"Nice to see you here kid. Welcome , to the 'Plytte Cafae'.
"Um, thanks. Though I don't think I've ever seen you before."
" Oh you have."
"I seen you around, you tended to hang around the older cafe. I am sad to see them go. Name is Pillow, he/him"
Lu wondered when he had ever seen Pillow, as he seemed pretty hard to miss. He (pillow) seems to wear a lot of amethyst and opal jewels. Lu jumped at the sudden placement of their order.
"One Eldritch Cherry for Lu!"
Lu thanked them for the drink, when a random jar appeared. Lu noticed it said 'tips' on the front. Dropping a few dollars in, the jar disappeared.
"Don't say thank you, unless you want to tip."
Lu didn't ask why.
Shortly after Pillow left, Luyas finished his drink. They had some work to be done, so they stayed a bit longer. After an hour or two, they got up and started to head out. Waving to the employees at the cafe, Luyas put it on his list to come back here whenever they got a chance. He was definitely coming back here tomorrow.

Pillow POV
"hmm, what a delight! I am so glad people are already showing up here! Is that right, Alo?"
Pillow slightly his head towards his ward. Raising his voice,
"I Said, Is That Right, Alo?"
"oh, yes yes, I'm glad everyone likes that Cafae as well."
Pillow let out a sigh at his flushed employee.
"Well, I see you have already got a crush on someone, do you?"
"Wh-what?! NO!! Absolutely not!! What ever makes you think that?"
Pillow did not respond, instead, he just stared at the garden growing outside.
