Day Two
With his History 111 class ending, Luyas headed towards the staff lounge. Even though other students aren't allowed there, Luyas was. They quickly made his way across campus. As he quickly paced towards the room, they bumped into one of their fellow classmate. "Oh! Sorry about that. Wait, haven't I seen you before? You're Smoke's kid, aren't you? "I'm actually his cousin, though I think I have seen you around. My name is Luyas, he/they, yours?"
"Chai, It/them. It's a pleasure to meet 'cha pal."
Luyas started to chat with Chai as the two of them headed towards the staff lounge. Upon arrival, Luyas realized that Chai was not allowed into the room ahead. As he started to tell Chai that it's not allowed in the lounge, someone placed their hand onto Luyas shoulder. "made a new friend 'Uya? Luyas Turns to face the new person. "Oh, hi Smoke!" Luyas motions towards Chai, letting them introduce itself. "Chai, It/they. Nice to meet cha as well." "smoke, they or him, 'they' is fine at the moment."
Walking inside, they all took a seat at the table near the window. With a little small talk, Chai pipes up. "Has anyone been to the new cafe?" This seems to pique Smoke's interest. "what is it called?" "It's called the "Plytte Cafae". "I've been there, it's cozy, and the employees are really sweet."
Smoke looked like he was deep in thought. It was a minute before he responded, but what he said was no one surprise.
"let's go. we are going to the cafe."

Walking down the block, Luyas noticed how close the cafe was to the school. Just a few turns and you're there. He noticed that "pillow" was there. Just as Luyas was about to open the door, Smoke rushed past them, bursting through the door. Smoke jumped over the counter, literally, and gave Pillow a hug, lifting the cafe worker on the ground. "Pi! it's been a while!" "It has, have it not?".
While those two were chatting, Lu and Chai went to a table and took a seat. Lu noticed that Alo went over to their table, calling over another worker to help the other table. "Ello Lu. Hel-. C-Che! It's nice to see you here." Lu can't help but notice a small bit of blush appearing on their face.

Pillow POV
As Smoke finally put him down, a gentle smile appeared on his face. "You are adorable, You know that?" " whatever you say darlin'. i see you made some progress on your work. starting a cafe, why, i didn't even know you got this far! this is amazing!" Smoke gives Pillow a kiss on the cheek. "whenever i have free time, i'll definitely stop on over."
Pillow just gave a small smile, before glancing over towards the papers on the floor. Smoke followed his gaze. "oh. I go and fix that".
