Gathering of the Troops
“Jenkins there is a problem.”
“Does this have to deal with a clone I saw you with earlier.”
“Yes, I need the whole team and this you will not like Jenkins. There are going to be more people coming into the annex.”
“Mr. Stone what is going on?”
“I’ll explain when I get back.”
“Mr. Stone.”
“Please Jenkins.”
“We will be here with your guests.”
“Thank you, Jenkins.”

“Hey man what is going on?”
“Hardison I need you and Parker to go to Cathedral Park off of North Bradford Street. Knock on the door of the bridge leg. Ask for Jenkins.”
“What about Sophie and Nate?”
“This is not their type of job. They can come if they want but they are not needed.”
“Elliot it is not about being needed. Are they wanted? Whatever is going on it sounds big.”
“Hardison I will explain when we meet. Just get there quickly. Oh, and tell Parker to leave Jones alone. We need him.”
“Hey man no promises. Parker and Jones hate each other.”
“Parker needs to leave Jones alone. They can kill each other after this is all done.”
“Ok man. We will see you in a few.”
“Parker, Elliot needs our help. Looks like we are going to work another crew.”
“I don’t want to work with another crew. I like our crew.”
“I know momma but something in Elliot’s voice makes this different. Also, Jones is going to be there, and you have to leave him alone.”
“I will but all bets are off when this job is over.”
“That is fine. Let’s go we need to meet up with Elliot.”

“Cassie, Jones, Eve. Meeting by the backdoor.” Jake yelled.
The three came out of Library. Jake did not know what everyone was doing, and he hoped it was not something sensitive.
“I don’t want to do this, but I need a favor from everyone.”
Eve looks at Jake. “Of course, whatever you need.”
Jake turns to Jones. “You will need to leave Parker alone.”
“Parker?! Jake what the hell? Are we working with the Leverage crew? You know Leverage?”
Jake takes a deep breath. “It is a long story. If Parker, Alec Hardison, and Eliot Spencer are the Leverage crew then yes we are going to be working with them.”
Eve stands up a little straighter. “Stone, Spencer is a killer with no soul. Why are we working with him?”
“Eve it is not just him.” Jake takes a deep breath. The team is going to freak out when they know exactly what is going on. “We are going to be working with the Avengers also.”
A loud “What?!” followed this announcement. Just then the backdoor flashed and there was a knock on the front door.
Jenkins comes back with two people.
The blonde female says, “Elliot you have a clone.”
Elliot says behind the Librarian “That is my brother Parker.”
“Is he the reason we are here?”
“He is going to help.”
The other person just says, “Then what is going on?”
Jake takes a deep breath. “Our cousin Darcy was kidnapped.”
Eve stares at him with that calm no nonsense voice. “What do you know?”
“According to the Avengers Darcy was taken by Hydra, the Serpent Brotherhood, and Damien Moreau.”
With that the room goes into chaos. Everyone yelling about everything and everything.
A loud high pitch whistle came from Jenkins. “Please let Mr. Stone finish.”
“This is the plan. The Avengers are going to go in making lots of noise. We are going to sneak in and find Darcy. We will get her out and to Avenger Tower.”
Parker raises her hand. “Can I steal anything?”
Elliot answered her. “If you can find any computers and get any information, I am sure the Avengers will appreciate it.”
“We can do that.” Parker and Hardison both nod.
“The Avengers will be at the compound they think Darcy was taken to in about 3 hours. We have that much time to figure out our game plane. We will understand if you do not want to do this. This is something none of us do normally. It will be alright to back out.”
Hardison looked to Parker. “We are not going anywhere. Darcy is important to you then she is important to us.”
Just then the clipping book began to flip. Opened to a new article about a missing painting.
Jones just smiles. “Looks like the Library has spoken. We are with you mate.”
