Let's go find Darcy
Eliot just looks around. Jake and he have built a good family. Not many would be ready to take on a Hydra base. The Avengers had left a few minutes after they had left and the Quinjet. The Quinjet makes the flight anywhere in half of the time. They were just waiting for a phone call from Stark that the battle had begun.
Ring.
“Spencer.”
“The fight has begun get your asses moving.”
“Mr. Jenkins, we need that magic portal.”
“Yes. Stay safe.”
The seven of them goes through the portal into a hallway. They can hear the battle going on outside. No one really flinched when there were loud explosions.
“Parker, Harrison and Baird will see if they can find a control center or something. See if you can find anything of value. The rest of us will look for Darcy.”
“Spencer I will not leave my people.”
“Colonel I need them protected but I need to look for Darcy. This information can help us. Look I will protect your people like I protect mine. Can you say the same?” Colonel Baird gives him a look like she was offended that Eliot even asked. With a nod they departed ways.
It did not take long to find where they had held Darcy. Though she was not there. Elliot wanted to hit something. By the looks of the room they had just missed her. Going down the hallway people came around the corner.
“Damien.”
“Spencer. I see you are here. If you get me out of here, I will tell you where Darcy is?”
“I will find Darcy on my own Damien.”
“No, you won’t Spencer. Get me out of here safely I will tell you.”
“There is nothing you can say that would make me want to help you.”
“The Winter Soldier has her.”
Elliot stared to cussing. The world’s best assassin has Darcy.
“Still no.” Elliot runs at the Hydra agents. Within 30 seconds all the agents were on the ground either dead or unconscious.
“Spencer, you do not kill people anymore.”
“Too bad for you that you took one of the people I would burn to world to protect.” Grabbing Damien Elliot pushed him against the wall. Jake decided to do the same with the doctor. “Now tell me.”
Damien did not say anything. Down the hall Parker showed up. “Darcy is not here. We got to go.” Elliot just growls. “Here tie him up and leave them for SHIELD. We got the information.”
Elliot let Damien go. Damien gave a little smirk. Parker comes up behind him with her taser putting Damien Morneau on his ass. The Leverage crew and Librarians made it out through the back door with no other issues.
Jenkins was there to meet them. “Where is Ms. Lewis?”
Next day
They decided to meet up the next day giving the Avengers some time to recover from their mission. When Leverage and the Librarians came this time the back door in the conference room. With how the battle raged outside the compound they excepted the Avengers to be a little more beaten up.
“Well Darcy was not there was she?” Tony Stark said as he sat down.
“She was but escaped with help.”
“Who? I mean Darcy is known to make friends with anyone.” Dr. Foster said.
“The Winter Soldier.”
That got everyone’s attention. Natasha was the one who answered. “Are you sure?”
This time it was Hardison who answered. “There was video and reports. What they wanted made no sense and there was some really twisted stuff. What we do know is that they were trying to get Darcy pregnant with the Winter Soldier’s child. They think they succeeded. Here is the rest of the files.” Hardison tosses a thumb drive at Stark. “There is something on there you would want to see. I put it as the first file. There is one more thing that I found that I am not sure you guys know yet. It really freaky.”
“Damn it Hardison. You cannot hide information.”
“Well excuse me but I thought Captain Rogers deserved to know first.” Steve motions for Hardison to continue. “The Winter Soldier’s name is James Buchanan Barnes Jr.”
