Chapter 37
Buck P.O.V
Taylor needed to stay in the hospital for 5 days. Two days ago I picked them up from the hospital after school. Taylor is not allowed to pick them up from bed or something like that because of her c-section. I need to give her the babies. While I'm at school her mother is helping us. So what else can I say? Sleepless nights. This night I slept 2 hours in total. Right now I'm walking through the apartment with Claire. Tyler is asleep again in Taylors arms.
Buck: daddy has to get ready now *kisses her head* I don't want to but i have to. I'll miss you *goes back to the bedroom* she's asleep *smiles softly*
Taylor: he is as well. *smiles*
Buck: *puts her back in bed* come on I'll lie him down *smiles*
Taylor: thank you *smiles* I feel guilty because you get up every time during the nights...I mean you have to go to school and study
Buck: babe it's fine *smiles* when you're better you can get up all the time *grins*
Taylor: that's not fair *laughs*
Buck: yea it is *grins* I'll quickly take a shower. If you need something just shout.
Taylor: sure so both of them wake up *grins*
Buck: exactly *grins*
I quickly take a shower and make breakfast for school. When I come back to the bedroom Taylor is asleep again. I softly kiss her head and wait for her mother. Then I leave for school.
T.K: Hey Daddy *grins*
Buck: Hey *laughs* where's your other half?
T.K: Sick *sighs* he's leaving me alone
Buck: what am I? Air? *laughs*
T.K: no i didn't know if you are coming.
Buck: why shouldn't I? *laughs*
T.K: because you want to stay home. I don't know *laughs*
Buck: i need to finish school so *grins* you know what? I miss Eddie
T.K: me too. Even though he's gone for only 5 days again *sighs* I don't know but I'm always worried about him down there in...in the war
Buck: yeah... *sighs* you know what happened?
T.K: no but I'm sure you will tell me now
Buck: Ana broke up with Eddie
T.K: no way why?
Buck: she found a new guy and hates this long distance relationship
T.K: so wait, she cheated on him because she hated this long distance relationship
Buck: sounded like that. It was not fair. I mean she knew that it's going to be a long distance relationship. Eddie gave her the chance. He said that if she can't do this they should break up. She knew it's going to be hard and just cheat on him because she hates this?
T.K: yeah you're right. Come on let's go. So how's Taylor doing?
Buck: she hates the fact that she can't move normally *laughs* but I'm pretty sure she loves the fact that she doesn't have to get up during the night
T.K: this May be Right *grins* you really look like shit
Buck: *punches him friendly* that's not nice. *sits down*
T.K: i know *grins*
Teacher: good morning class. So who's missing? *looks around* oh Evan, didn't expect you to be here.
Buck: why is everyone saying that. I'm not sick.
Teacher: well congrats to your baby *smiles*
Buck: thanks *smiles softly*
Teacher: okay let's begin.
Gosh I hate this subject but at least the teacher is nice. Like every teacher asked me today why I'm here. Sorry that I want to graduate. Gosh.
T.K P.O.V
After school I drive to Carlos. When I come into his room he's asleep. He's snoring a little bit. I smile, take off my shoes and lie down next to him and kiss his head. He slowly turns around and puts his head on my chest.
T.K: thought you're asleep.
Carlos: kind of *coughs* I hate being sick *he has a hoarse voice*
T.K: how are you doing?
Carlos: i feel like a piece of shit *coughs* I missed you
T.K: are you freezing? You have a thick blanket *looks at him worried and takes off his hoddie* or did you just want to have my hoodie? *grins*
Carlos: both *puts on the hoddie*
T.K: should I make you a tea?
Carlos: no stay here. I need to cuddle
T.K: your skin is glowing. Are you having fever?
Carlos: don't know
I cuddle up next to him and rub his back until he's asleep. I get up and make him some tea and order soup. He's sleeping very restless. Coughing a lot. I hate seeing him like this.
Carlos: where were you? *looks up*
T.K: downstairs. Making you a tea and I ordered soup *smiles softly* come on you need to eat a little bit.
Carlos: fine *sighs*
T.K: *hears his phone* where is it? Found it *picks up* hello?
Buck: can you come over?
T.K: Uhm sure why?
Buck: i need to drive Taylor to the doctor. Her wound opened up again. When can you be here?
T.K: give me 15 minutes. *hangs up* I gotta go. I'll come back later *kisses his head*
Carlos: where're you going?
T.K: taking care of the twins. Buck has to drive to the doctor with Taylor.
Carlos: oh okay.
T.K: try to sleep babe.
I grab my keys and drive to Bucks apartment. I text him that I'm there and he opens up.
Buck: thanks for coming so fast. Taylors parents are at work and Maddie has enough to do. She came home yesterday and yeah. Right now they are asleep. Uhm, milk is in the fridge. Heat it up before you give it to them. Not too hot. In their room you can change the diapers. Everything is there. They are sleeping in our bedroom. Here's the babyphone and yeah I think that's it
Taylor: thanks T.K. I just picked up some things of the floor and didn't thought about it.
T.K: no Problem *smiles softly* I can do this. I guess
Buck: you can. Thank you. If you need help just text me. Hopefully we don't need to wait that long.
They leave the house and now I'm alone. Doesn't take long until one of them wakes up. Gosh this diaper Is smelling really bad. How is a 1 week old baby able to fill this diaper like that. I laugh and change Claires diaper and feed Them. Claire is asleep and I'm walking through the apartment with Tyler in my arms to get him to sleep. Hours have passed and I lied down on their couch with the baby phone.
Buck P.O.V
We were waiting for hours now. Finally after 3 hours it's Taylors turn. They close the wound again and after another hour we can go home. I carry her to the car. It's already 10pm. When we arrive at home I find T.K laying on the couch. He's asleep and is holding the babyphone. I put a blanket over him, I see that Carlos texted him a few times. I text him from my phone that T.K fell asleep and he's staying here. So he has no need to worry. The babies are asleep. T.K did a Good Job. I'm thankful that he did this. I lie down next to Taylor and we both fall asleep very quickly.
