Buck P.O.V
So the Last 15 weeks I was studying a lot. Now it's way more important to finish school than it was before. The baby could come any day. My grades are getting way better. Eddie is helping me to study. I'm sad that he has to go back in 2 weeks. I'll miss him. At least he was here over Christmas and New Years. Half of our senior year is over. It's February. I'm chilling in the cafeteria with Carlos and T.K.
T.K: so you don't know if it's a boy or a girl
Buck: no *laughs* does it matter?
Carlos: maybe *laughs* so where do you live?
Buck: didn't I tell you? Oh sry I forgot *laughs* we found an apartment near to Maddies house. We already moved but at the moment Taylor is staying with Maddie and Chimney because it could happen any day and I don't want her to be alone.
T.K: so name ideas?
Buck: Claire or Tyler.
Carlos: or maybe both *grins*
Buck: oh come on. I'm pretty sure they would see another baby when there is a second one
T.K: naaaah I wouldn't say that *laughs* sometimes it hides behind the first one.
Buck: you're scaring me. Please *laughs*
T.K: sorry but it's the truth *grins* so tonight, what are we going To do?
Buck: i can't I'm sorry. I don't want to be away from home
Carlos: you forgot that we have to study babe.
T.K: nooooo *sighs*
We hear the school bell and go back to our classroom. Time goes by so slowly. After school I have football training and then I drive home.
Buck: I'm home. Maddie? Taylor? You here?
Chimney: living room *smiles*
Taylor: I'm stuck *laughs* can you help me up?
Buck: of course *grins* can't you get up yourself?
Taylor: you see that huge belly? Definetly not *laughs*
Maddie: your belly is so much bigger than mine *laughs* unbelievable.
Taylor: yeah and it's getting really uncomfortable *laughs* come out little human
Maddie: so is your pain better?
Buck: pain? Which pain? Everything okay?
Taylor: yeah I'm fine. I just had a little bit of stomach pain today. It gets better and then it comes back.
Chimney: wait a minute. It gets better and then it comes back?
Taylor: yeah why?
Chimney: when was the last pain?
Taylor: like 40 minutes ago. Something like that.
Chimney: and the one before that?
Taylor: i don't know maybe 50 minutes before the last one. *laughs* oh my gosh you mean?
Buck: contractions.
Taylor: but it doesn't feel like it. Its not even hurting that much.
Chimney: maybe you should drive to the hospital to get that checked out.
Buck: you think that's necessary? I mean she said she's fine
Taylor: Buck
Buck: maybe we should wait a little bit
Taylor: Buck, there's no time to wait
Buck: you okay? I thought you're okay. Is it hurting
Taylor: my water broke *looks at him and holds her belly* okay and this really feels like a contraction *squeezes Bucks hand*
Buck: okay Uhm lets go *grabs Taylors hospital bag*
I help her into the car. I grab her hand and start driving. She squeezes it multiple times. We are stuck in traffic and I start to curse
Taylor: Buck please stop *takes a Deep breath* there's another one *squeezes his hand tight*
Buck: ouch you're strong *Shakes his hand before giving it back to her* you're contractions are getting more and more. We need to hurry or do you want to give birth on the freeway?
Taylor: your hand hurts? I need to press a baby out of my, you know what I mean.
Buck: finally it's going forward.
We finally arrive at the hospital. I park the car and help her out of the car.
Taylor: Buck stop. Something is wrong...something feels different...
Buck: *runs into the ER and gets a doctor* she said something is feeling different
Dr.Wilson: okay Mrs.Kelly
Taylor: Taylor. Please call me Taylor, I'm not that old
Dr.Wilson: okay Taylor, lie down here. We will check on you immediately.
Buck: I'm here *holds her hand*
Dr.Wilson: how old are you two?
Buck: 19. turning 20 in May and June.
Dr.Wilson: okay I'll put on a CTG and then let's check on you. What feels different?
Taylor: the pain went down...down to my lower stomach and pelvis...
Dr.Wilson: I can't see a head. It's only 5 centimeters open so it means we have time. I'll Do an ultrasound. It will get a little bit cold now. *looks at the monitor* wait a minute. How many babies are you expecting
Taylor: just one why? *her voice is shaking* is something wrong with the baby? Please tell me it's okay
Dr.Wilson: one of them is still in your belly but one of them started it's way out
Buck: wait a minute. Twins?
Taylor: oh my gosh...how could my gynecologist not see that?
Dr.Wilson: looks like it was hiding down here near your pelvis.
Buck: so what are we going to do now?
Dr.Wilson: emergency c-section.
Taylor: can he come with me?
Dr.Wilson: of course *smiles*
A nurse gets Taylor ready for the surgery. She will be awake during the surgery. I hold her hand all the time.
Dr.Wilson: okay so here is baby number one. *smiles* a healthy girl *puts the crying girl on Taylors chest*
Taylor: Hey *tears roll over her cheeks* hey little girl. I'm your mommy
Buck: she looks just like you *Smiles*
Dr.Wilson: okay and here is baby number two *smiles* a healthy boy *smiles and put it on Taylors chest as well*
Taylor: and he looks just like you. Look he has a birthmark above his right eye *sobs*
Dr.Wilson: okay the pediatric doctor will check on the babies real quick and while that we will end the surgery. Your boyfriend can go with them *smiles*
Taylor: okay *smiles softly*
Buck: *kisses her forehead* see you soon
I follow the nurse out of the O.R. Can't believe this really happened right now. It's almost 2am now. The doctor checks on them and after some time Taylor is back with us. I hand her the girl and lie down next to her with our little boy.
Buck: crazy Right? *laughs quietly* now we are having twins
Taylor: and we don't have to choose between the names. *smiles and kisses Buck*
Buck: Claire and Tyler. *smiles*
Nurse: *comes in* okay it's time to feed the Little Babies *smiles* you wanna try breast feeding?
Taylor: sure *smiles*
She feeds the babies and after that the nurse brings them to the pediatric station. I lie down next to Taylor until she falls asleep. I quietly get up and go to the baby room. I take a picture of both of them and send it to Maddie, our Boygroup and to Taylors parents „Welcome to the world Claire and Tyler 💕. Today at 1:47am Claire was born and at 1:53 Tyler was here"
I smile. Probably they all will read the messages in a few hours. It's almost 3:30am now and I should probably get some sleep as well. I lie down on the couch in Taylors room and fall asleep very quickly.
