Rescue me

T.K. P.O.V 

It's Taylor. She's here. I just stare at her. Not able to believe that she's here. I mean they haven't talked since Buck cheated. Now she's here. In the hospital. Standing next to us. Next to his room. 

Maddie: hey *hugs her tight* 

Taylor: Hey. Thanks for calling. I came here as fast as possible 

T.K: wait a Minute. You need to explain this to me. 

Eddie: yeah not just to him. 

Taylor: Maddie called me after Buck was out of surgery. I was worried about him and helped Maddie this week. We couldn't find him.

Eddie: I thought you're mad at him.

Taylor: i am, I was but Maddie called me Tuesday morning that he's gone. We searched everywhere but couldn't find him. Buck talked to me Monday after school. He apologized again and asked for a second chance. I said I will think about it and that we can continue talking when he's sober. It didn't make sense to talk with him while he was high. I hate when he's high. He's always so aggressive when he drank too much alcohol or smoked. That was one of the reasons why I broke up. I was hurt okay. Seeing the boy you are in love with for years cheating with another girl is hard. I walked in while he had sex with Tina. This stupid bitch. 

T.K: i understand that you're mad. 

Eddie: he understands that you're mad. 

Taylor: i didn't know that his situation was that bad...

Maddie: I didn't know as well... *sighs* the doctors found cutting wounds...he took so many pills and he got into his car *wipes away some tears* when I got the call from Eddie that they found him I was...

Taylor: I'm glad that he's alive...can I see him? 

Maddie: I don't know if he wants to see you...he told me that he doesn't want to see the boys. He doesn't want them to see him like this...

Taylor: how bad is it? *sighs* 

Maddie: bad...the worst thing about it is That they can't give him pain medication...he needs to get sober...

Taylor: I'll just go inside. I will be there for him. I mean it's my fault in some kind of way that he's laying here...

We just look at her. She opens the door to Bucks room and goes inside. 

Maddie: lets see how this will end *sighs* 

Eddie: I hope it has a good ending...

T.K: Yeah me too...let's just watch it and be sure that nothing happens...

Maddie: nothing is able to happen. I mean his hands are cuffed onto the bed. *sighs* 

She's right...I lean on my crutches and look inside the room. 

Buck P.O.V 

I don't want to see them...I feel guilty...I feel embarrassed...I feel helpless...I feel useless...I feel so many things right now...I really don't want that they see me like this...I told Maddie that...

I'm lying here...in this stupid bed...crying like a baby because of the pain...I can't describe how much it hurts...I can't sleep...I can see a fourth head. Who is standing next to them? Who are they talking with? Suddenly the door opens and I can't believe who's standing there. It's Taylor. She closes the door. 

Buck: no get out *cries* I don't want you to see me like this...get out *cries and pulls on the handcuffs* 

Taylor: i will not go out *goes to his bed and sits down on the edge* I will stay right here. Holding your hand *grabs his hand* and be there for you. You can scream at me, you can cry, you can say mean things to me. I don't care. I will not leave. 

Buck: why are you here? *sobs* 

Taylor: are you really asking me that? I'm here because of you. One day after you were gone Maddie called me. We searched everywhere. We couldn't find you. I was really worried about you. Look. On Monday when you talked with me. I didn't say that I won't give you another chance. I said that I'll think about it and that we will continue talking when you are sober. That you cheated wasn't the only reason why I broke up with you. I will be honest with you now. If you want me to.

Buck: what were the other reasons? *looks at her with tears in his eyes* 

Taylor: every party you were drunk. Or high. Or both. When you are drunk or high you are so aggressive *sighs* you freak out. I hate that. It's okay that you drink alcohol at a party but why do you need to get drunk every time? Very often you didn't Even remember the last evening. I still love you Evan but if we get back together I want that a few things change. 

Buck: you really want to be my girlfriend again? *sobs* I thought you hate me...

Taylor: no. Gosh I don't hate you. I was just hurt. Look, we get through this together. I'll take care of you until you're back on your feet. We will look that you get clean and promise me one thing. When this is over, you don't drink on every party okay? 

Buck: okay *sobs* 

Taylor: i still love you Evan 

Buck; i love you too *sobs* gosh you see me crying like a little baby and I can't even wipe away the tears 

Taylor: *softly wipes away his tears* I'm here and I will not leave. *leans over and kisses him softly* 

I can hear T.K, Eddie and Maddie cheering outside of my room. We both can't hide a grin. 

Taylor: so what can I do for you? To make you feel better?

Buck: you can't *sighs* I can't describe how much it hurts...

Taylor: another thing. Don't be stupid and let your friends see you. They want to be there for you and help you. And do you really think That they will be mad at you? 

Buck: i don't know *sighs* 

Taylor: come on. Can I let them in? *kisses him again* 

Buck: okay *sighs* 

She gets up and lets them in. Everyone sits down next to my bed. They are not mad. They are worried. After some time they leave. Taylor stays by my side. She sits down next to me and goes through my hair with her hand. I'm glad that I have her back...she's right...about everything....I was an idiot....I wish I could turn back time...I want to talk to Carlos....but I can't... I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to see me...I slowly close my eyes. Taylor calms me down and after some time I'm finally able to fall asleep.
