AmLou (Nilou/Amber)
Amber visits Sumeru with Collei and they go into Sumeru City. Collei had told her that there was a festival- the Sabzeruz Festival, to be exact- which was the main reason as to why they had come into the city.
Apparently, there was a popular dancer who would be performing in the celebration- she didn’t want to miss it! Amber wasn’t great at dancing, but she had been learning with Eula… either way, she really wanted to see the dance.
She had changed into some more festival-like clothes, and actually decided to wear the clothes from the Windblume Festival she met Collei at. It was a nice outfit- suiting for Sumerus hot and humid weather, and had good memories.
Collei and Amber arrive at the stage.
The dancer comes out- and, oh, she was so much more beautiful than she could ever have imagined- Amber was in a trance before the dance had even started.
Her eyes glimmered in the stage lights, and finally, she took graceful and careful steps forward. She closed her eyes and smiled, droplets of water accumulated by her vision swung around her, following her flowing movements- it made Amber feel… something she hadn’t quite felt before. Her heart picked up in pace a little, and her cheeks warmed- what was it? Was the heat of Sumeru getting to her? Ah, but it was cool inside Zubayr Theater…
Before she knew it, the ending move had been made, only the sudden applause knocked her out of her thoughts. Collei looked at her, perhaps a little worried.
Amber needed to know her name… she really, really did… and she’d like it first hand.
She waited until the crowd dissipated from the dancer, and walked to her.
“Hi, I just really wanted to say your performance was so amazing!” Amber grinned, catching the dancer’s attention. “Oh! Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it.” She smiled so gently, and Amber nearly melted from its radiance. Amber didn’t catch it, but she was blushing a little.
“I hope you don’t mind me asking, but what is your name? I’m Amber!” She didn’t feel too inclined to mention her titles.
“I’m Nilou!”
They talk for a while, but soon, Nilou is called for. “Ahh… it looks like I have to go… I really liked talking with you, by the way! Goodbye!” Nilou caught her hands in her own, and squeezed them before leaving.
“O-oh, goodbye!” Amber’s face flushed- she was sure Nilou noticed, too, because she smiled once again, with her own blush following suit.
…Maybe Amber could stay in Sumeru for a bit longer.
