IttoBer (Arataki Itto/Amber)
Itto, the one and oni, was invited to Mondstadt with the Traveller! From the moment they entered the gates, he expected people to flock to him- ‘oh, how cool! An oni!’ And yes, they did crowd around, just not around him. The star of the show, the thief of the spotlight, the Traveller… how is it they’re so popular?!
Every time, he asks. Every time, they deny! But is being well-known not the same as being famous? Ugh! No point in hanging onto it… for now!
As his great friend Traveller had invited him, he should look around! Talk to people, ask them to join the Arataki Gang… oh, he always comes up with such great ideas!
At the side of his eye, he notices a man in perhaps his early 20s… in the fountain. His first target!
“Heya! How’d you like to join the awesome Arataki Gang?” Great start, Itto! Couldn’t have put it better myself, Itto!
“Uh… gang…? Sorry, but I don’t want to get involved in that kinda stuff.”
Itto tries to reason with him, and people start to notice… by now, the man got out of the fountain, and they were actually running around, one chasing and one escaping.
“Hey, you! Stop right there! Causing a commotion in the city is strictly prohibited by the Act of the Knights of Favonius!” A red clothed girl came into his vision, and she had her hands on her hips. She seemed pretty irritated. Though, it seemed that while she had previously been scowling at him, her expression flicked to one of recognition.
“Hold on. Are you Traveller’s friend? If that is the case…” she thought for a bit.
“If that is the case, then come with me and please don’t bother Anthony anymore, okay?”
He mumbled something in agreement.
Turns out that she is called Amber, and first met the Traveller while out on patrol… having her job sounded boring! And lonely, too! He was surprised that she’d decided to stay there.
As they carry on a conversation… “…I’m a say what I mean, mean what I say kind of guy, you know what I mean?”
She paused for a moment, and absolutely no emotion ran across her face other than confusion as she tried to process his words. “Uh, yes, yes I know-“
The guy- ‘the one and oni, Arataki Itto’- suddenly cut in with his question, “So, fire girl, how d’you think I can get more people to join my gang? Y’know, without them running away, or getting the authorities on me?”
Amber answered simply and, quite true. “I think it depends on your advertising. Right now, you’re saying it’s a gang. Gangs, in Mondstadt, are usually viewed as dangerous and as things to avoid… so maybe you could call it… Arataki Itto’s Gang… of Friends? We could put flyers up too…”
He wasn’t so sure about the name part, but the flyer was great! Had he really never thought of it before?! He had put flyers up for competitions, but why would people come if they didn’t know who they were?! He just has to make their presence clearer, that’s all!
