Leia and Padme- part 1
The first time Leia saw her birth mother she was a child running carefree through the gardens of the palace. She saw a strange woman sitting quietly among the soft pink roses her father had imported from Naboo in remembrance of a dear friend.
She was very pretty, with curly brown hair decked with flowers being the thing that stuck out most about her. Her blue dress shimmered in the sunlight, and she seemed to have a little wood carving necklace laced between her fingers.
No one else seemed to acknowledge her, and she seemed content not to speak to anyone in favor of smelling the flowers and staring wistfully into the distance, but when Leia came into her view she smiled serenely at her, tears forming at the corners of her beautiful brown eyes.
“Hello, little one” her voice cracks slightly on the words.
Leia cocks her head to the side in confusion, which just makes her smile wider, the tears falling onto the petals on her lap.
Then in an instant, she vanished.
Leia tells her father, he’s confused but brushes it off as a result of an overactive imagination.
