So... The timeline for this part in this chapter is after Clint gets tricked into Byakuran's hideout.
Emma was stunned when he remembered his past life at the age of five. No, that's not his name now is it? Mako Daichi is his current name or Daichi Mako, depending on where he is. With Mako as his family name. Quite ironic now that he thinks about it. Daichi(大地), like the flame that he holds. His kindergarten friends call him Mark as they pronounce the word Mako to horribly for Emma to accept.
He has been living quite a normal life until his elder brother showed him a video from a few years ago, fanboying about the Avengers. What caught his attention was the small figure with angel wings on his/her back.

He slowly shifts his attention back to his pet golden retriever and acted dumb- he did not see anything... definitely did not see anything. Even if he did, there's nothing he can do other than wait for Tsuna.
He gave himself a mental pat for the best decision he's made in his 5 years here.
That's how he usually operated when such things happen anyway. His mode of operation is:
First, find Tsuna.
Second, tell what the Mare sky is up to to Tsuna.
Third, Tsuna will deal with it.
This is usually how it worked back then! But without Tsuna... Emma doesn't want to think about it. QAQ
Therefore, the best thing to do now is to act like a normal 5 years old. Yup, there was nothing he can do anyway. So best thing to do is to not get dragged into the insanity.

It's finally his birthday!!! Daichi could not be more excited. His parents had promised to bring him to Stark expo this weekend to celebrate. Mainly because they were to act as undercover agents in case of emergencies but Emma happily ignored that small detail.
Yes, his parents work for SHIELD, his father is an engineer while his mother does fieldwork. Like this undercover assignment.
His mother would be the only one going undercover between his parents so if anything goes sideways, Daichi and his brother would be dumped to his father as she would need to help control the situation. Still, ignoring that minor detail, it could be said that his birthday was a family outing! As someone with parents that are almost always absent from the house. This small detail is not worth sweating about.
Vongola has done much worse with no complains arising. In fact, the mission itself was the family outing. The experience was nothing anyone would have in their lives. The best, or maybe worst, thing about it is that the family outing is always deemed as a success.
...one really can't go wrong with a Vongola style outing as long as the word chaos is involved, after all.
As for how he knows the details of this outing? Well, nobody would suspect that a 5 years old would be able to understand much of what they were saying anyway. So they had their guards down when his older brother was at tuition and started discussing about the details when they thought he was sleeping.
That's when he heard something that almost made him want to scream to his parents, 'What!?' and proceed to rattle them as though they were a money tree... Wait. That metaphor sounds a bit off.
Luckily, he managed to hold that urge in and instead, grunted while still pretending to sleep. But that grunt has costed him more opportunities to hear more or the 'juicy' details as his parents moved to another room to discuss; probably worried that they would wake him.
Then again, it was for the better. Emma needed sometime to process what he had heard.
So, he just found out that Shoichi is here too!!! However, his memory of his past life is not complete. And he works for SHIELD! And he is helping them hunt down Byakuran...
Emma almost thought that he was dreaming.

Dread engulfed Emma the moment he had caught a glimpse of those locks of deep indigo shades. The culprits, of his current predicament, were currently overlooking the entire ballroom from where they stand- on the west side of the second floor. Emma had retracted his gaze as soon as he laid eyes on them as a precaution to prevent the twins from locating his specific coordinates.
As he had suspected, just as he retracted his line of sight, the twins snapped their heads towards his general direction. There eyes lingered for a brief moment before opting to continue staring at the baby lightning of Byakuran's. He was more entertaining to look at then the rest of the mundane crowd.
Emma, who was now acting like a normal five year old, certainly felt the two mists scanning his general direction like a hawk would to a prey. When they retracted their sight, Emma felt a bout of relief wash over him. Mentally giving himself a cheer, he continued on as if nothing had happened at all.

Irie Shoichi, the 'secretary' of the director of SHIELD... Huh, he never thought that Shoichi could be the secretary of anyone except Byakuran.
Emma swears to gossip about this finding to Adelheid in class tomorrow.
Good thing that Adelheid's current name is similar to his past life, just shorter, and without the 'heid' at the back. Yeah, he can work with that. Though, he had quite a laugh after finding out her full name.
Not that she had given him willingly. No, not one bit. In fact, she did not give him her current name at all. It was just that her name was inevitably called when the teacher was taking attendance.
Adel Hild was her current name. Oh, how he had enjoyed her constipated face when her name was called. To bad that he had forgotten to take out his phone beforehand. That would be a great picture to share with his guardians when they felt like reminiscing.
The strike to the stomach at recess was worth the risk of laughing at her in class.
Anyway, as he was saying, or at least from what he heard from their introduction of Irie, was that Irie is currently 18 years old and is currently an intern for Tony Stark... As if he would believe that.
His father was an airhead for thinking that Emma could not collect information from his father teasing Irie. Literally who says:
"Congratulations on your promotion, secretary of SHIELD! I wonder if you can tell me your secret in having a rocket-like speed of promotion. Hehehe."
And then tells their 5 year old son:
"Meet Irie Shoichi, my colleague. He is currently an intern at Stark's and is 18 this year."
...does it mean you also work as an intern at Stark's? Are you sure? I thought you had told me and my brother that you work as a researcher at another company, one that Emma does not care to remember.
In fact, no one would remember the name of the company that his father blurts out. His father changes the name of the 'company' he works at as often as changing clothes. That would fool nobody except his dense brother, who also has always forgotten of the 'company' name that his father works at.
...are intelligent people this airheaded?
If they are, then Emma has to classify Verde as an anomaly.
Though, Emma wouldn't know, he had barely passed Reborn's hellish tutoring through hard work, threats and a whole lot of screaming. Good thing that Tsuna was there to suffer with him. Or was it the other way round?
As Emma looked away from his airheaded father and proceeded to focus his attention somewhere else, his eyes locked into a pair of heterochromatic eyes. He faltered and accidentally he let passed some of his carefully reined emotions. The boy, that he knows for sure is Mukuro, smirked with derision. His mouth slowly forms the words Ko-za-to and Emma feels that the world has given up on him. A complain flashed through his mind.
