Summary
Violetshine, from many angles, universes, and perspectives.(or: a series of (mostly) unrelated drabbles about violetshine. because i love her, and because she's important to me. information about each story will be in the author's notes.)

this is going to be different from a lot of my previous works. violetshine is a very important character to me. i wrote this story as a way to get some of my ideas down in a shorter format than usual, and to keep myself busy while i work on other stories.chapter ratings will range from G to T. this isn't a request fic; these are just some oneshots straight from my brain.i hope you enjoy.UPDATE: i realized i should probably put down the names of each song i reference within this story. the title of this fic is from "rolling girl" by wowaka ft. hatsune miku. i will update the notes of each chapter to add what song they're referencing

When Bramblestar spoke about exiling the codebreakers, Violetshine thought she recognized a familiar gleam in his eyes. It wasn't familiar in the sense that she'd seen it in him before, but somewhere else--a cold blue glint that reminded her of the lake, of unsheathed claws and splashing and threats masked as rules, of bonds sealed with a blood pact.
When he said Twigbranch's name, Violetshine knew that this was not the Bramblestar she knew; but then, she reflected, had she ever known him? He had been complacent in separating her from her sister in the first place, after all.
