Summary
Violetshine, from many angles, universes, and perspectives.(or: a series of (mostly) unrelated drabbles about violetshine. because i love her, and because she's important to me. information about each story will be in the author's notes.)
Note
this is going to be different from a lot of my previous works. violetshine is a very important character to me. i wrote this story as a way to get some of my ideas down in a shorter format than usual, and to keep myself busy while i work on other stories.chapter ratings will range from G to T. this isn't a request fic; these are just some oneshots straight from my brain.i hope you enjoy.UPDATE: i realized i should probably put down the names of each song i reference within this story. the title of this fic is from "rolling girl" by wowaka ft. hatsune miku. i will update the notes of each chapter to add what song they're referencing

"I've decided to join ThunderClan," Rootspring says, meeting her eyes boldly. "To be with Bristlefrost."
Violetshine swallows, feeling like there's a bone stuck in her throat. Beside her, Tree brushes his tail along her back, nodding at Rootspring.
"I'm proud of you," he says. "You're following your heart." He turns toward her, his gaze encouraging.
Violetshine remembers Twigbranch doing the same thing--joining ThunderClan. It was where she belonged, she'd said. She wouldn't have been happy in SkyClan, with her own kin.
Violetshine takes a deep breath. That was then. This is now. "I'm proud of you, too," she says.
