What happened on Asgard
Thor was exhausted after his mission, but he still needed to retrieve his son, who he left on Asgard in the care of the Warriors Three and Sif. So why did he return to Asgard to a confusing sight of his comrades passed out on the floor, Sif managing a bloody nose and his brother Loki with his appearance, holding his sleeping child?
“Do you want to hear it from the beginning or do you want me to start with your child almost destroying Asgard because his nap wasn’t long enough?” Loki asks in a whisper, out of fear of waking the child.
“Kennedy almost destroyed Asgard?”
“Well that’s kind of an exaggeration, Kennedy caused a storm that almost flooded Asgard because he was tired and he couldn’t find you, hence” Loki gestures at himself.
Thor sits down “okay take me from the beginning, I guess.”
It started right after Thor left. He had made sure Kennedy was asleep before leaving but shortly after leaving the boy had awoken. He was a little fussy so the Warriors Three attempted to soothe the child but to no avail, so Sif stepped in to help but she made it worse, causing Kennedy to headbutt her, hence the bloody nose.
Kennedy was flailing on the floor as a storm brewed. All four were attempting to soothe the child but kept screaming for his Papa, stomping his pudgy foot causing the ground to shake, his screams and wails blended with the thunder and the heavy rain. This kept occurring for a solid 2 hours, until Hogun fetched Loki who shapeshifted into his brother and soothed the child.
That took another 2 hours, as it involved getting Kennedy to calm down long enough to see Thor’s visage and then having Loki put the child to sleep.
“So that’s how your son almost flooded Asgard,” Loki concluded as he handed his nephew over. Thor places gentle kisses on his son’s cheek.
“My sweet boy.”
“Sweet boy my ass, he almost killed our people because he couldn’t find you,” Loki snarks as he reverts back to his true form.
“You love him anyway,” Thor remarks as Kennedy wakes up. Loki holds his breath, waiting for another tantrum but Kennedy smiles at his Papa. Thor adjusts him so he’s facing Loki, “say goodbye to your uncle.” Instead of bidding farewell to the god of mischief, Kennedy sneezes in the face of his uncle. Thor cackles as he takes his son away from the enraged Loki. “Good job son,” Kennedy smiles at the praise. “Wait till daddy hears about this.”
