A few months later, Loki was settling in fine and pulled many pranks on the avengers and was having fun. And feeling happier than he had in a long time. One day, Tony got bored by Loki's pranks and decided to play a prank on him but didn't want to set Loki's epilepsy off doing a prank on him because Thor would get angry and Tony didn't want that because Thor was his friend and tony also didn't want the tower getting destroyed so decided the prank would be to throw water over Loki when he went in the room so tony got ready and waited for Loki to walk in the room.
when Loki finally appeared he was with amoril and tony throw the water over Loki and lokis skin turned blue and Loki just froze.
“Loki it is ok, it doesn’t matter,” amoril said.
Loki just stared at his hand.
“Loki, can you hear me,” Amoril asks.
No reply
Amoril noticed Loki's eyes looked dead and dim, similar to when she saw him just before a seizure in the dungeons.
“I think he's going to have a seizure, can you help me get him to the sofa” amoril asks.
“Yeah sure” Tony helped her get him to the sofa.
“It was a prank, he’s doing them to us. I thought I would do one on him, I didn’t think it would Set his epilepsy off or his skin to turn blue”.
Jarvis then spoke, “Sir I believe Mr. Loki is having an absent seizure and an absent seizure doesn’t look like a seizure but the person having it is unresponsive just like in a grand mal seizure or tonic-clonic seizures which is what Mr. Loki has normally.”
“Ok, Jarvis, what should we do” tony asks.
“Nothing he's fine he should come too in a few minutes, but you shouldn’t crowd him and also sir I don't think he is going to be happy to see you after throwing water over him,” Jarvis said.
“Alright message received I will get Bruce, so Bruce can check on him, he wanted to keep check of how many seizures he's having,” tony says before leaving the room, Loki became alert not Long later.
“Loki, can you hear Me,” Amoril said.
“Yes, I’m fine,” Loki said.
“You had an absent seizure which is when you have a seizure, but it doesn’t look like you are having one and instead of the jerking and everything else you just stare in front of you.” amoril said.
“I’m fine” Loki stood up and changed his skin back to normal, “where’s stark”
“Loki, don’t do anything you will regret,” amoril says.
“I’m not going to do anything, I just wanted to know where he went,” Loki says.
“He went to get Bruce to check on you just to make sure you are ok and Bruce wanted to keep check on how many seizures you're having,” amoril says.
Bruce then arrived.
“I’m fine,” Loki says.
“You sure,” Bruce asks.
“Yeah, I’m sure,” Loki says.
Bruce passed Loki some more medicine which Loki swallowed and went off and amoril followed. Bruce went back to talk to tony.
“Tony, you could have hurt him,” Bruce tells tony.
“I didn't think it would cause a seizure and I didn't know his skin would turn blue. I won't do it again in the future he was pulling pranks on us, I wanted to pull one on him,” tony said.
“Good” Bruce and Tony then left the room.
Everything went fine for the next week until one-night, Amoril was walking back to her room from the bathroom when she heard crashing coming from Loki's room.
Amoril knocked on Loki's door.
“Loki, are you ok” Amoril asks.
No reply
“Loki,” Amoril said.
No reply
“Jarvis,” Amoril said.
“Yes, miss amoril,” Jarvis replied.
“Is Loki ok?” Amoril asks.
“Unfortunately, I can't check fully as I’m being blocked by some sort of magic, but from what I can see I recommend checking on him,” Jarvis says.
Amoril checked to see if the door was locked with magic, which it was.
“Loki I just want to know if you're ok then i'll go” amoril says.
Amoril suddenly heard a bang and the door unlocked. Amoril rushed in, and she saw Loki having a seizure on the floor, she quickly grabbed a pillow from the bed and turned him onto his side.
“Miss amoril should I call for Mr. Banner,” Jarvis asks.
“Not at the moment I can handle this, if it gets worse than please call him,” amoril said.
“Ok,” Jarvis says.
It feels like forever to amoril for Loki to become alert.
“Loki, can you hear me,” amoril asks.
Loki quickly sat up, but his eyes were still dead and dim.
“Loki it is ok it’s just me it’s amoril,” amoril says
“I won't do it, I won't do what you want, just go away” Loki shouts.
“Loki, what are you talking about,” Amoril asks.
Loki then started screaming, Amoril put her hand on Loki's arm.
“Loki it's ok you're ok you're safe, whatever you're seeing is not real,” amoril tells him.
Loki then calmed down and looked at amoril.
“ Don't tell anyone about this,” Loki said to amoril.
“I have to tell Bruce about the seizure, but I won't tell him anything else,” Amoril told Loki.
Amoril made a mental reminder to ask Thor if he had spoken to Loki about his nightmares.
“ I’m ok you can go now thank you,” Loki said with a small smile.
“It’s ok if you need help it's ok to ask just ask Jarvis, and he will call someone,” amoril says.
“I know, it’s just I want to avoid being seen as weak or pathetic,” Loki says.
“You're not, you can't help having epilepsy, and it Doesn’t make you weak or pathetic,” Amoril says before leaving. Loki then gets up but has to hold on to the bedpost because he was still dizzy and then gets in the bed and goes back to sleep.
The next morning, Loki woke up and went to the kitchen to get something to eat and Everyone was staring at him.
“Why are you all staring at me,” Loki says.
“We don't mean to, but we wanted to know whether what we saw was true or not,” Steve says.
“What did you see,” Loki asked, confused.
“Were you made to do New York by someone called Thanos who tortured you, didn't he?” Steve says.
Loki froze then collapsed he was only saved from hitting the floor by Natasha catching him who laid him down Loki then had a seizure Natasha put a cushion under his head and rolled him onto his side and Steve moved the kitchen stools out of the way and Clint came out of the vents.
“Should I get Bruce, this one looks worse than the others. I don't like him because of what he did, but I don't want Thor having a go at us” Clint asks.
“Yes, please get Bruce,” Natasha says.
Clint goes off to get Bruce.
“Miss Romanoff should I inform Mr. odinson,” Jarvis asks.
“Not at the minute there will be too many people crowding around him when Loki becomes alert then some of us will have left you can call him then”
“Ok,” Jarvis says.
Bruce arrived.
“what set it off,” Bruce says checking Loki's pulse and breathing.
“Steve here thought it would be a good idea to tell Loki what we saw last night and ask him about it,” Natasha says.
“I didn't think this would happen, I thought he would Deny it or walk away” “Bruce is he ok,” Steve asks.
“This one is pretty bad. His breathing is quite slow as well. I'm going to need to take him to the med bay and I might need help getting him there. I think it'll take him a while to come around from this seizure,” Bruce says.
“I'll help you, that's fine,” Natasha says.
Natasha picked Loki up, which surprised Bruce And Steve because they didn’t realize she was that strong. Natasha didn't like Loki for what he did to Clint, but Thor was her friend and she wanted to avoid upsetting him. She also couldn’t see someone in need and not help them.
Natasha placed Loki on the bed in the medbay.
10 minutes later, the seizure was still going on.
“Nat can you go get the syringes marked Loki for me please there in the draw near the door the top one,” Bruce says putting an oxygen mask on Loki.
“Yeah sure,” Natasha says.
Natasha gets the medicine from the draw and gives it to Bruce. She could tell Bruce is worried about Loki, his seizures don’t normally last this long.
Bruce then lifted Loki's green and black sleeve.
And injected the medicine but nothing happened and loki's Breathing gets worse, so Bruce injected the next one, luckily the seizure slowed down and stopped.
“His breathing is very slow, which isn’t good,” Bruce tells Natasha.
“I’m going to go and tell Thor,” Natasha says.
“Yeah, that's a good idea,” Bruce says.
Natasha goes off to get Thor, she found him in the sitting room with amoril talking.
“Thor lokis had a seizure, it's a really bad one, Bruce. Wanted me to get you” Natasha tells Thor.
Thor jumps up and follows Natasha amoril stayed where she was to not overcrowd Loki.
Thor goes to the medbay Natasha stays away and decides to check what Clint’s up to.
Thor sat down in the chair next to the bed Loki was laying on.
“Banner Is he going to be ok,” Thor asks worriedly.
“I think he will be, but there will probably be leftover seizure activity like before, but we will not know until he wakes up,” Bruce tells him.
“What started a seizure this bad off,” Thor asks.
“you know what we saw last night to do with Loki,” Bruce asks.
“Yes, about someone called Thanos,” Thor says.
“Well, Steve asked Loki about it, wanting to know if it was true. And Loki collapsed and had this seizure” Bruce says.
“I think it's true he had no idea what we saw and the fact he's had a really bad seizure due to us knowing can’t mean something good,” Thor says.
Loki started to wake up.
“Loki, can you hear me,” Thor asks.
“Yeah you’re loud enough” Loki's and quietly.
Thor laughs, “you had a really bad seizure, I'm sorry”
“Why are you sorry,” Loki asks.
“Because I brought you here to help you and I haven’t,” Thor says.
“But you did save my life, so you did do something,” Loki says.
“I know, I just wish I could stop this” Thor says.
“It’s my fault I’ve got this issue anyway if I didn’t attack New York I wouldn’t have got it,” Loki says, sitting up.
“We need to talk about something that I saw last night. We all saw it apart from amoril and there’s something I’ve been meaning to talk to you about,” Thor says.
“What did you see,” Loki asks, confused.
“Someone called Thanos made you attack New York, didn’t he,” Thor asks.
“No,” Loki says.
“Are you sure because that’s what I saw also when the captain mentioned it earlier you had your bad seizure?” Thor asks.
“It’s just a coincidence it’s nothing,” Loki says.
“I saw something else as well,” Thor says.
“What,” Loki says.
“He tortured you didn’t he before New York,” Thor says.
Loki froze, and his eyes went dim and dead.
“Loki,” Thor says.
No reply.
“Loki, can you hear me,” Thor asks.
No reply or response.
Bruce came over and checks on Loki “he's having an absent seizure he’ll be okay he just needs a few minutes” Bruce tells Thor.
Loki became alert a few minutes later.
“Brother can you hear me,” Thor says.
“Yes, you're loud enough,” Loki says.
“Are you ok you had another seizure it was an absent one but still a seizure” Thor asks.
“I’m fine,” Loki's says.
“Loki do you remember what we were talking if you don’t, and it's ok if you do but don't want to talk about it that's also ok I just want to know if your memory is affected,” Bruce asks.
“I do,” Loki says quietly.
“Ok good you don’t need to talk about it now if you don't want to,” Bruce tells Loki.
“When did you see it,” Loki asks.
“Last night,” Bruce tells him.
“Who saw it,” Loki asks.
“All of us but amoril she didn't see it for some reason,” Thor tells Loki.
“Ok,” Loki says quietly.
“Is it true, I think it is by your reaction, I just want to know for sure?” Thor asks.
“Yes it is, but I don't want to talk about it, I didn't want anyone to know” Loki went to get off the bed, but his right leg gave way, and he was only stopped from hitting the floor by Thor catching him.
“You ok what’s wrong,” Thor asks.
“I’m fine,” Loki says.
“Did you faint?” Thor asks.
“No, I’m fine,” Loki says while trying to stand up, but his right leg won't hold enough weight for him to stand, so he has to hold on to the bed to stand.
“What's wrong with your leg,” Thor asks.
“Nothing I’m fine,” Loki says.
“Loki don't lie clearly there’s something wrong with your leg what is it,” Thor asks.
Loki tried to let go of the bed and walk by, his right leg gave way again and Thor had to catch him again.
“Banner what’s wrong with his leg,” Thor said starting to get worried.
“It could be leftover seizure activity That I was just talking about it was a bad seizure and also an absent seizure,” Bruce says.
Loki sat on the bed.
“It’ll be fine,” Loki says.
Loki stands up a couple of minutes later Loki's leg will not hold his weight, it can hold some but not his whole weight.
“It's leftover seizure activity like last time you should probably use a cane again just into it better,” Bruce says.
“I’m not using I'm fine I’ll manage till it’s back to normal” Loki says.
“Loki, you can't even walk,” Thor tells Loki.
“I can” Loki argues.
“Fine, you can't walk on one of your legs,” Thor says.
“I’m fine, I will make do until it's back to normal” Loki says.
“Why won't you accept help, What's wrong with accepting help,” Thor asks.
“Because it's weak and pathetic to accept help if you're not dying, and I’m not dying, so I don't need help that's what we were taught,” Loki says.
“Well, maybe we were taught wrong,” Thor says.
Loki looked at Thor surprised.
“ You’re going to go against something you believed all your life you’ve always believed it was weak to accept help unless it was life and death,” Loki says surprised.
“That was different then. I've now started to learn other things and realize some of what we were taught about was wrong, and we shouldn’t have been taught it. It's not weak to accept help. You should accept help. Might take me a little while to accept it, but if I need help I’m going to try to accept it” Thor tells Loki.
“Also you will probably have increased seizures for a couple of days due to how bad this one was just to let you know,” Bruce tells Loki.
“Great” Loki says annoyed.
“But if you accept help with walking around it will mean fewer seizures the more you try to walk around unaided the more annoyed you will become and more stressed and that will lead to more seizures,” Bruce says.
“Fine, I will accept help if it means you 2 will leave let me alone and stop going on about it,” Loki says.
“We're not going I’m just saying you should accept help it’s going to be difficult for you to get around otherwise,” Thor says.
Loki makes a cane appear using his magic.
“If any of the others say anything tell me, and I’ll speak to them, I won’t let them be rude to you or be nasty I don’t think they will be they were quite upset and worried about you,” Thor says.
“Except Clint for obvious reasons,” Bruce says.
“Yeah I know that’s fair enough I’m surprised any of them are worried,” Loki says.
“Yeah actually especially Natasha I haven’t seen her be worried like about anyone except Clint or Steve, but she was actually pretty worried she helped me get you here so if anyone starts on you or says anything it won’t be her unless you annoy her which I would advise you not to do,” Bruce says.
“Yeah, I know,” Loki says.
All of them go to the sitting room where the others are talking.
Amoril saw them.
“There you are finally” amoril jokes“ you okay,” amoril asks .
“I’m fine,” Loki says.
Loki sat down next to her and put the cane next to where he was sitting.
“Is it to do with the seizure” amoril asks.
“leftover seizure activity apparently” Loki tells her.
“I’m sure It’ll be fine soon,” amoril says.
“ hopefully,” Loki says.
“Look at the lovebirds at it again,” tony says looking at amoril and Loki.
“Tony, I don’t think they’re dating, and you shouldn’t assume,” Bruce says.
Amoril laughs“ we’re not dating, I don’t like men”
“Well technically I am a man and woman, but she only likes people who are only women and I don’t like her like that we’re just friends. What gave you the idea that we were dating did somebody say something,” Loki said, starting to get annoyed.
“No, but the way you hang out constantly, and I saw her sneak into your room a few times as well, I just assumed you were dating,” tony says.
“We’re not dating he needed help, so I went to help him he didn’t want anyone to know,” amoril says
“Why was something wrong,” Thor asks.
“If you must know it was seizures, I had some and I needed help, and she helped me. Don't see how it’s any of your business,” Loki tells tony.
“You should have said something,” Thor said.
“Why I’m fine, she noticed, and she helped me,” Loki says.
“Because you could have got hurt if she hadn’t noticed or been there to help you,” Thor tells Loki.
“It Happened too quickly, even if I wanted to ask for help I couldn’t,” Loki tells Thor.
“Thor Jarvis would call if Loki needed help and couldn’t ask and no one was helping him,” Steve tells Thor.
“I know just worried that’s all” Thor said.
“The medicine that you have currently been trying seems to work, so I think you should start taking it three times a day to see if it helps lessen them or help in anyway” Bruce says to Loki.
“Yeah alright,” Loki says, Bruce can tell Loki is annoyed with tony.
“ What about the way you look at each other” tony asks.
“As friends were just friends People can just be friends you know,” Loki tells tony.
“Yeah I know that just the number of times I've seen you together, I thought you two were dating and keeping it a secret” tony says.
“Well we’re not we’re just friends,” Loki says.
“that’s boring, I thought something exciting was going on” tony said.
Amoril laughs Loki stares at her.
“What it's quite funny,” amoril says.
Loki rolls his eyes at her.
The rest of the day goes fine with no problems.
